Showed up early. Was in the bay before 7:00 am. Dave had my problem figured out in no time. Got me fixed up and out of the Alignment shop in a hour. This guy knows his stuff.

This shop would not warranty defective Steer tires saying the tire pressure was low. The proper air pressure for these Steer tires is 100.5 PSI. NOT 120psi like they said. They are 16 ply rated at 7160 lb at a maximum 120 PSI. Each tire only carries 6000 pounds if you divide 7160 lb by 120 PSI it gives you 59.6 pounds for every 1 PSI. Since each tire carries 6000 pounds that gives you 100.5 PSI for a properly inflated Tire. There for the tires were not under- inflated As I stated 100.5 PSI is proper air pressure at 70 degrees ambient temperature according to Michelin and Goodyear L&I table. Tire pressure drops 2 lb for every 10 degrees ambient temperature changes. This morning was 19 degrees so that changes the proper cold tire pressure to 90.3 PSI. Also they did not use a Master tire gauge to check my tires they could have been off as much as 10 psi. I do have a certified Master tire gauge that I used this morning to check the tire pressure it was 92 Psi which makes it well above the proper cold PSI. I believe this tire shop will use any means necessary to get out of warranties. Update to reply from tire world. You have obviously got wrong information. My truck does not have tpms. I have certified weight tickets for every load this truck has ever hauled never once has steer axle been over 12,260 pounds making psi correct. Go back and read my review I have explained it in detail. Also we went around you guys and dealt with continental tire directly and explained every thing. They agreed 100% and warranted those tires. It appears your shop is not schooled in proper tire weights and pressure and temperature
