Service was great! They got my car in and out in just a few hours allowing me to still have the rest of my day and were great with communicating! I had an issue with a sensor that was replaced previously and they were able to use my warranty on it from them so I did not have to pay for the inspection or replacement! The shuttle service was also great, I got dropped off and picked up in timely manner and she was super sweet! Would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks Toledo Auto Care!

This has been the most amazing experience ever! I came in with my work vehicle last week for brakes. The service was so outstanding I decided to bring my personal vehicle in the following day! Lo and behold this weekend my wife’s brakes started making noise so I called up Brad and he was able to get me in and out the same day! 3 days with 3 vehicles and the service kept getting better! Brad, Nate, Victoria, Logan, Nick, and Allen are the DREAM TEAM! I’ve found my automotive home and highly recommend this place to any others looking for trustworthy service at an affordable price!! Transporting my classic project truck 1400 miles I experienced debilitating transmission issues in traffic 1/2 way. I could not find a transmission expert to help. Too busy, truck too old, too uncaring, too bad! Calling Toledo Tire and Auto was my first light of hope in an otherwise bleak situation. Amy, Brad, Owen in thier mechanics took the time to pull my fat from the interstate fire. Before I knew it, they facilitated a tow to thier safe shop location. Room, food & tools were all within walking distance. They evaluated my issue as best they could and together we improved the things we could control. After a good meal and restful sleep I was back on my way in the morning. Truly, a friend in need is a friend indeed! Out in the shop where most customers don't see hangs an motivational "creedo" sign for the employees. It reads "Do something today you will be proud of tomorrow". They did us all proud. Plus I got a piece of Dove chocolate and a follow-up call to verify I eventually made it home to my family. Thank you my friends🥰 Life is good🙏

I normally don’t leave reviews, but this experience has been deeply frustrating and needs to be documented in detail. I brought my 2007 Honda Accord to Toledo Auto Care on the morning of October 8, 2025 for an inspection after a different shop had already diagnosed possible wheel bearing and exhaust issues. I explained these concerns clearly when dropping the car off. Later, around 1:30 PM, I received a call from Brad, the service advisor, who said the issue was related to the mass air flow sensor and suggested replacing it along with the throttle body gasket. The quoted cost for that was about $304 for parts and labor. I agreed over the phone at that moment but called back within 30 minutes to cancel the repair after realizing I couldn’t afford it. The employee who answered told me that Brad was at lunch but that they could stop the work. However, when I spoke with another employee a few minutes later, I was told that the work had already been started and within minutes, it somehow turned into a completed job. When I questioned how a multi-step repair like that could possibly be finished in just 30 minutes, the story kept changing. At first they said the work was “already started,” then that it was “already done,” and finally that they had “really good techs who can do an hour of work in 30 minutes.” I was told the total bill would be $681.15, later “discounted” to $488.96 after I objected. I requested to see proof of the replaced parts and to verify the new installation, but they refused to show me unless I paid the full amount first. They then refused to release my car, claiming they had a right to hold it until I paid in full. I reminded them that I revoked authorization within half an hour and that, under Ohio law, a shop can only charge for work completed *before* a cancellation, not for unapproved repairs done afterward. They still declined to release my vehicle until law enforcement was involved. Eventually, the total on the invoice included a mass air flow sensor, air filter, and throttle body gasket, but there were no time stamps or technician notes showing when any of this work began. The paperwork even states, “Not a Final Invoice.” It’s unclear whether the work was actually completed before my cancellation, and that lack of transparency is exactly the issue. I understand that shops deserve to be paid for legitimate work, but the timing, inconsistency, and lack of communication here make this feel entirely untrustworthy. I came in in good faith, revoked authorization quickly and politely, and was met with defensiveness, condescension, and a refusal to cooperate. I’ve filed a consumer complaint with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office to document this situation. I would strongly advise anyone considering this business to get all authorizations and time estimates in writing and to never give verbal

I used to like this place. I never leave reviews but this time I felt like I need too. They must under new management. Took my 2009 pontiac in only because I had a gift card and I got a text about free winter inspection which they did but never got a report that usually I get by text or a phone call saying what it is wrong and I know they are few things that needs to be changed. I forgot about this and move on. I change my belt with them and before going in I know my horn was working, I try to use it few days ago and it is not working now... To much coinsidence. Anyways I gave this place couple chances, but I will not go here anymore, it is a shame I used to like their service.

A shout out to Anna (scheduling), Brad (advisor), & Allen (technician) for very pleasant and fast service. They were able to get my car in the next day. Then, correctly diagnose, & repair all before 11 am. My issue was a lot of front end suspension noise that was not solved at a different shop even though changing many other very expensive parts for the same complaint. The faulty inferior part was installed at still another shop. Toledo Auto Care on Heatherdowns has earned my respect & future service work.

I was in dire need of replacing my rear brakes and rotors as the sound of the scraping brakes was almost enough to make me just park my car and leave it. Brad was able to get me in within 24hrs to install the parts I had already purchased. They were even kind enough to give me a complimentary ride home while I wait for the services to be complete. Overall, it gave me a peace of mind and was a very fair price. Would definitely recommend Toledo Tire and Auto Car to all!

Unfortunately for me, my car was acting weird when I left school one day last week. Some how by the grace of God, I just so happen to google a nearby auto repair shop. To my surprise, I was able to get my car to this location without causing more damage. I am so happy with my choice and my service here. Vicki was very helpful in making sure I was in a safe location well my car was getting serviced by Brad, who was very amazing and pleasant. He got right to getting me back on the road and back home to Michigan. He pulled through for me and I'm so blessed for good honest people like them. My car has been worked on by Toledo Tire & Auto Care on Heatherdowns for many years. I hadn't been there for a little over a year due to life. Needed an oil change, was worried about various fluids, and sure needed air in my tires along with a new bulb in a back light. So many places to go in Toledo for work on your car. I knew right where I was going this time. They are so welcoming from the moment you walk in the door. I appreciate greatly that they don't treat women like they don't know about cars, etc. They truly care about their customers and their vehicles. Had to wait a bit this time, and you could see just how busy they were. There was a wonderful man, Jerry I believe his name was, who came over and explained to me what was happening now and my car was next. Knowing that he cared about his customers that much to keep them informed, reminded me why they are the ones who work on my car. Way to go, Jerry! Their hard working technicians also do a wonderful job as I drove my car out of there, and felt like brand new. Thanks for the great job once again!
