Great Honest, friendly, professional and fair! Didn't overcharge me, and they were very respectful and did great work!!! The MUFFLER on my '94 Toyota pickemup truck was a mess, hanging by a thread so to speak, rusted through from front to back, and the tail pipe finally completely broke lose this week. I am so impressed with the service and professionality, I will go back to have a few other things (not imminent safety-wise) that they pointed out to me that could be done later, which will extend the life of the truck. As a retired/limited income person I really appreciated that they did not try to stick it to me by coming up with a bunch of other issues to try to get more money out of me, like some places I've been to for other stuff. I highly recommend this locally owned business.

The number one concern when looking for a mechanic is to find someone who is CAPABLE, HONEST and FAIR. Look no further. Tom Cherry is under new ownership, and the new owners are absolutely fantastic! They do much more than just mufflers and exhaust issues. I took my 13 year old Ford Taurus to them for what I thought was brakes and sway bars. They did a thorough inspection and found a laundry list of issues with the car, which was not shocking since the car has over 200K miles. They quoted me what I thought was a fair price. After starting the work, they found some DANGEROUS issues with the car, so dangerous that they couldn't take it out for a test drive. I don't know car lingo, but after the repair they showed me one of the broken parts. Where there should have been a ball joint, but there was no ball. It was being held together by a piece of rubber. The tire could have fallen off at any time. There were a couple of other major issues, as well. They could have tried to hold me hostage financially because of the additional repairs, but they were very fair given the unexpected expenses. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop. It is so hard--especially for a woman--to find mechanics who won't take advantage of you. They spent almost a 1/2 hour explaining everything so thoroughly to me, and letting me know what next steps they recommended. There were a couple of repairs that they couldn't do simply because it was not something they had the equipment to do, and they graciously offered to recommend who they trusted to do the work. These are my go-to guys now!

100% would recommend. Very nice guy working there. I took my 350Z in to get an exhaust taken off and he was extremely professional and quick. Was even worried about how low my car was getting onto the lift. Great work for a great price. Definitely gonna come back in the future and recommend to anyone needing exhaust work.

Absolutely amazing! Mitchell was a genuine blessing and wonderful. My car broke down while I was traveling from Michigan to help with my mother who was at the end of her life. I am thrilled with the service I received recently. Had my car towed to them around noon, they had it back to me that same day! I was offered plain and honest advice about issues with my car. Took my drag car in for some cut-outs years ago and knew they were the guys to take my truck to for a custom tail pipe to hook to the flowmaster 40 series I installed. A lot of places get spooked when you ask them to work on non-stock stuff, but all the guys I worked with at Tom Cherry did exactly what I was looking for, to tuck it up close to the bedside and leave extra on the end so I could cut it at the angle I wanted. Great work, service and price!

Deserves nothing less than 5 stars. The vibes as soon as I made a phone call were great. I spoke to Mitchell and he seemed so nice. They are even nicer in person! All of them are positive people. They do not take appointments, they are first come first serve. Just go inside, tell them your concerns and get put on the wait-list. That alone should tell you how much Bloomington loves this place, they don't even need appointments they know people will come and give their business! They talk you through every step of the way as well, they tell you how long you will need to wait, how long the job will probably take and how much the job will cost. He even fixed a part of my exhaust I didn't ask to be fixed for no additional charge. I just get bad vibes from 90% of shops in this town and I did not have that experience here whatsoever. I've been to meineke in Ellettsville and they absolutely rinsed me of my money. That's why I do almost everything myself now, exhaust work is not something I can do so I came here and did not regret it.

I honestly don’t even know where to start with this place. If I could give zero stars, I would. First off, the customer service was about as welcoming as a rainy Monday morning. I felt like I was bothering them by even being there. Then there’s the work itself—let’s just say my car came out in worse shape than when I brought it in. They managed to “fix” one problem and somehow created three more. And the pricing? Absolutely outrageous for the quality of service. It felt like I was paying for their coffee breaks instead of actual repairs. All in all, if you want to keep your car running and your sanity intact, steer clear of this place. Huge disappointment all around.

The best and most honest auto body shop in town! I took my car to two different auto shops before Tom Cherry and I had a gut feeling that they were diagnosing my car with an issue that wasn’t the problem I was dealing with, so I took it to Tom Cherry and they fix the actual issue I was having which was unrelated to the problems the other two autobody shops were trying to fix. If I hadn’t of gone with my gut and taking it to Tom Cherry, I would be out more than $4000. I highly recommend tom cherry!!!
