Hands down the best shop in Riverside and likely San Diego County! Tom and the crews knowledge about classic and modern day cars exceeds all expectations. The only unfortunate thing is one can’t give more than 5 stars! Keep up the great work

We’ve been taking 3 different Porsches here for about 10 years now, tom & the staff always do excellent work, super friendly and informative, and really know what they’re doing. Super trustworthy and they walk you through everything. I’d recommend this place to anyone with a foreign car!

First time experience was very good. Brought my APR tuned VW Golf Sportwagen in with an engine light misfire issue. Other local shops wanted me to leave my car for the week while Toms shop had me back up and running within 24 hours. Saved me from making the trip to my mechanic in San Diego. Looks like I found new mechanic. Thanks Tom and team.

Tom is excellent with foreign cars. We took our car to the dealership and after weeks in service, several tries, and thousands of dollars they never fixed the issue. We took our car to Tom and he fixed the problem and it was ready within days. Ever since then, we take our car to Tom. The best in the business.

Moved from OC to temecula. A friend recommended this place. It was good at first. The last visit, had to fix was the windshield liquid was not coming out. Sent it to fix. The bill came out about $1600 including replacing a NEW windshield container and some other stuffs as recommended. Later driving up on my last day in riverside, a red indicator popped up and died in the garage. Towed to my regular german owner workshop and replaced the alternator ( -$600). Decided to sell the my high maintence car to a BMW enthusiast. Upon inspection he showed me the windshield liquid container was never replaced. Also i see i was charged $160 for advice. Glad I am out of there.

The owner himself, Tom, is right there hands on and went over the problems and repairs done on my 2003 mini cooper personally. The car was in and out no lagging. They don't use after market parts which i respect them telling me. Their admin staff ìs professional and super friendly. Honest, trustworthy, and genuine service. Totally worth a tiny bit extra cost. Highly recommend.

I was referred to Toms Foreign Autohouse for my 2009 BMW (90+ thousand miles) which had multiple oil leaks from the engine gaskets. This was a costly repair which made me think if it was even worth it. After discussing the options with Tom, I went through with the repair and am soooo glad I did. The car runs super and is as clean as a whistle. Everything else was checked to make sure there were no residual repairs needed. I feel as though my car is as good as new now.....thanks!

If you have a foreign car like a Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and you want a mechanic who knows their craft and is trustworthy, you should check out Tom's Foreign Autohouse. They have serviced my 2010, Mercedes C300 and have my car running like a new vehicle. They have repaired minor leaks, performed the scheduled maintenance, replaced engine mounts and the transmission mount. You will be amazed how much quieter and smoother the car runs. Moreover, the customer service is outstanding and when the job is complete, the mechanic took the time to explain what was done and showed me the damaged parts that were replaced. Tom is really passionate about his work! Give your older and maybe not so old car some tender love and care with Tom's Foreign Autohouse.

STOP shopping for a better repair shop for your ordinary sedan, your classic Porsche, or any foreign vehicle in between. In my fifty years owning special interest vehicles and experiencing some excellent shops, Tom’s is by far the best. WHY? For starters Tom is a master diagnostician. You will save $ because he only replaces the failed and failing parts. He doesn’t run the ticket up recommending premature or unnecessary maintenance as is the dealer routine. Each positive remark by the other reviewers reflects my experience as well.

The mechanic that worked on my car had setups for wiring including for my backup camera better than what the dealership or most other mechanics would have to offer, very much better than the factory default versions and had very good service should last much longer than older ones.

Claudia had excellent phone skills, friendly, scheduled promptly. Tom was very personable and experienced mechanic. He replaced my serpentine belt on 09 Camry and took the time to answer all my questions, from a car enthusiast. Protected seats, obvious care taken. Highly recommend! The dog Millie was the best! Thanks Once again I WOULD LIKE TO THANK GRANT AND TOM, simply the best shop and people. Otto too! Did both axles, front brakes, problem solving experts, quickly and with care. My wife’s 22016 Camry, front and rear rotors replaced as well. Full confidence!!! Great work and honest!

I was starting to have problems with ML350, had over 187K in miles, it was paid off, and I couldn’t see buying a new car or even a used one. Tom suggested a refurbished engine and it was cheaper than a new or used car. I got a new car for 10K. All issues from before were fixed or went away with the new engine. Runs like brand new and I am extremely happy. Tom knows what he is doing, very good at what he does, and a great deal cheaper then a “Autohaus” or the dealer. Very satisfied with the work. Best Benz shop in the region.

I had my 981 Boxster in for a bunch of work and I'm extremely pleased with the service at Tom's. They are excited to work on Porsches, and they know every detail of the car. The entire shop was full of classic and modern Porsches, and they did a really great job with the services on mine, going to extra mile to do things perfectly.

Called into Toms Foreign Autohouse after calling close to 10 other local shops regarding an issue with my BMW 330ci. I spoke with Grant who I come to find is beyond knowledgeable about older BMW's whether stock or tuned. Its not often you find such honest and transparent people. I'll be bringing my car into Tom's for some larger repairs in the future.

Bought a Porsche site unseen from a dealer in Temecula, I was very nervous about this situation, but could not travel from Boston to see it. From the first conversation with Tom’s they gave me high confidence that they would be my overly critical eyes to take a second look at the vehicle. Very flexible to get the car in quickly! Very well thought through report of what they found. Extremely professional experience from start to finish. Now 2 weeks after, the car arrived exactly as expected! Very happy with the results!!

I'm biased concerning Tom's Foreign Autohouse, as I was introduced to Tom by another Good friend at Hotdog Kustoms. To be honest, I don't own a foreign automobile but, Tom has always been there to diagnose issues w/wifey's corvette, a lincoln town car we owned a while back and most recently a battery concern in my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel. Tom and his son tested, removed and replaced my battery and got a me back underway with the confidence that I won't be stranded by a dead battery. The cars that Tom's Foreign Autohouse services, rebuilds and makes modifications to are truly outta my price range but, I am blessed to have Tom make himself available to help me with and/or answer my questions concerning automobile maintenance. If you own anyone of those expensive foreign super cars, you'll want to visit Tom's Foreign Autohouse for a second opinion or make him your first choice in automotive maintenance.

Took my 2015 s550 for a general inspection. They were very knowledgeable and passionate about diagnosing and fixing complicated European cars which I found it awesome and exciting. They gave me a list of potential repairs for now and suggested some preventative maintenance. I have scheduled to get some of them done and very excited about it. I'll post more reviews about my experience after those jobs are done.

Recently purchased an '85 911 Targa - took it to Tom's to have it fully checked out - my goal was to confidently take it up the coast with my wife as comfortably as possible - they sorted out a few things and we had the best trip for my birthday weekend. Thanks Tom & the team for your great work!
