This place the owner Afton scene on the phone very ignorant I do not recommend it at all they fix my truck and then charge me when it broke down again but they said the part is under warranty scream and holler at me I don’t recommend doing business here

I would highly recommend these guys. We were stuck at an RV resort when our alternator went out. We called them and they showed up within a half an hour. All said and done, it took them a couple hours to fix our alternator and we got 2 new chassis batteries installed . They were professional, kind, fast, efficient and thorough.

In June 2020 Top Wrench Repair rebuilt the engine in my truck, doing exceptional work, and now March 2022 they just replaced my transmission and rebuilt the driveline. I couldn't be more pleased with the work. I am an owner operator with Landstar and travel throughout the US, Canada, and Alaska. I own a 2007 Western Star with a Detroit 60 series 14 liter engine and Eaton Fuller 13 speed transmission. Before the engine rebuild I was close to one million miles on my truck, a rebuild was not yet needed but on my mind. I was praying, 'God, when I need this rebuild, You let me be at the right place to get in the right shop that works for me.' I broke down in the area and was towed to the Freightliner dealer in Nampa. They informed me that I needed an engine rebuild. Not being from the area I asked Freightliner if they had any recommendations of shops where I could take it for the rebuild. They gave me one number, that of Top Wrench Repair. Doug had worked for Freightliner for 14 years rebuilding engines and they told me to take it to him. That was a Friday. The truck was towed to Top Wrench Repair and first thing Monday morning Doug started the rebuild. There was extensive damage throughout the engine. Doug is an expert and an exceptional worker. It took him and Blake all of one week and two days into the next to do a complete rebuild. They loaned me a pickup truck during this time so that I did not have to rent one. Working with them was the best, I couldn't have been more pleased. I have put 200,000 miles on the truck since then and have never had one issue go wrong with the rebuild, and the cost was very much fair. In February 2021 I put the truck in a shop in Texas changing the turbo and tweaking the ECM which gives the truck 605 HP and 1,950 ft lbs of torque. I love it, but eventually it took it's toll on the transmission. Now, March 2022, I broke down again in the Boise area with transmission problems. I called Top Wrench, they were backed up for two weeks, and so was every other shop in town. After a few days of frustration I called Top Wrench back and spoke with Blake. He had a spot and pulled my truck in the shop. They put a new heavy duty transmission in rated at 2,050 ft lbs of torque. From working with Blake, the owner, to his wife in the office, and Doug, I could not have asked for anything better. Everything was 100%, and the expense involved was more than fair.
