This is hands down the best shop that I have ever been to, My truck was losings power and cutting out. I took it to a couple of shops, the first one couldn't figure it out, The second one immediately referred me to Ray's, once I got there Mark plugged the truck in and had an answer in just a few min. He explained everything to me and then work their magic. The truck is running prefect again, These guy are all ASE certified, and very knowledgeable. If you have any issues with your car or truck bring them here. They treat you really well and their prices are fair. Just a small note when I was there they were working with a lady that was in front of me and listening to the way they took care of her was very impressive, They treated her will respect and didn't try and sell her a bunch stuff that wasn't needed. Ladies if you need a good trustworthy shop, Here it is!!!!

My window had fallen down into the seam of my suv. I called Napa Truck & Autocare Center, they got me in right away. I was so grateful due to all the rain we have been having.Ya know what else they did for me ,because I didn't live to far away the gave me a ride home and picked me up when it was fixed. This had been my first time there . Even though there where vehicles they were working on they took the time for this little old lady . God bless them . They will have my business for now on .

Ray’s diesel and automotive repair has worked on mine and my husband’s 1997 Dodge pick up and a 2004 Lexus. Great customer service but some things were left loose when had transmission change, drive shaft fix, and clutch. Clutch stick came out of clucth in 3rd week, air hose by transmission was loose and got damage, transmission seal leak, torques on drive shaft were loose and lost two.

I brought my 1989 bmw e30 “Abby” in for a new steering rack. The old girl gave up the old one with a lot of kicking and screaming. Mark took the time to make sure the car was done correct. she had issues and they solved them. He must know how to speak some German. Fast and at a great price. If I lived in the Boise/Nampa area, Ray's would be the ONLY shop I'd let work on our cars. We were in the middle of a 30-day road trip through the west when we developed car problems. Just as we entered Nampa, I noticed the blue & yellow NAPA sign on Ray's Diesel and Automotive Repair. I felt greatly relieved before I even came to their door on Monday morning. I could tell they were popular by all the cars waiting to be worked on and the number of people who dropped off their vehicles while I was there. With their years or experience and expertise, in about 15 minutes they diagnosed the problem as a faulty alternator. I thought that the work might take all day, and was even preparing to extend our motel for another night, when I got the call 6 hours later that the work had been completed and all the warning lights on my dash had been reset. There's a reason why they've earned the GOLD standard with NAPA - and I strongly suggest that you see for yourself what genuine, prompt and professional car service can be like. I'm glad we did. Mark and his team saved my Duramax's bacon after I mistakenly added some DEF to the diesel tank (yup I am that guy now). I called them on a reference from a trusted mobile mechanic and Mark said "Get it towed in here now so we can try to save it". And save it they did. Removed tank flushed fuel lines, replaced fuel filter and it worked! I really appreciated their sense of urgency as I was scheduled to leave on a trip in 3 days and they got it done in 2 days. It ran like a champ on that 1000+ mile trip towing with now hiccups or leaks. This is how you do things right without trying to replace everything for $1000s more. I now have a trusted Duramax shop. Thanks Mark and team! If there is one small improvement it would be to update the customer notes on the app more frequently as I didnt even know the job had started before I called and it was done.

Ray's diesel is hands down the best diesel mechanic around they go above and beyond for their customers they are extremely reliable and they always go the extra mile to try to figure out what is wrong without charging you a bunch unnecessary charges, Mark the owner is extremely knowledgeable and generally cares about his customers my husband and I own a construction company and recently had both of our trucks break down at the same time which was extremely stressful! Mark and his team worked diligently to get us back on the road quick! And it did not cost us a fortune I really feel that good customer service is a dying commodity nowadays so it is so nice to find a company who truly prides themself in great customer service and honesty we will be forever customers to this company and cannot be more grateful for all the hard work you guys have done for us recently and in the past thank you for everything you guys rock! I'm new to the area and needed some work done on a 1995 Plymouth Voyager, Yep you read that correctly. I looked at reviews for shops in my area and was impressed by the reviews for Ray's Diesel & Automotive Repair. It was not the positive reviews that caught my attention but the negative one's. The answers given back to poor reviews were Business Gold! Ray's gives great detail in regards to poor reviews and backs it up with fact. So I took our 30 year old van in for a problem with the air conditioning and check engine light. Rays uses an app via text to give you a detailed list to include photo's of all checks and findings prior to starting any work. I had to approve each step and was well informed of what the cost would be. There were NO SURPRISES. I cannot imagine how much easier it could be or how any customer could be misled or misinformed. Ray's is far and away the best automotive repair shop I have ever dealt with period! Mark and David were great to work with and I thank the other folks who work there, What a team.
