Dishonest advertising! On Cycle Trader they have a 2024 new Transalp listed for $8299 and when I asked for an out the door price, each individual communication got more and more expensive. By the time it was said and done, the list price shot up to $8999!!! And when I called the salesman out in email about it, his response was "fair enough"... this dealership actively tries to pull one over on prospective customers and takes you for a fool!!!

My experience at Dennis Dillon was beyond unacceptable. The store manager was rude, dismissive, and blatantly misogynistic. He talked down to me the entire time and insisted I “didn’t understand,” even though the information he was giving me was flat-out wrong. No one bothered to ask what I needed, what I could afford, or what I was actually looking for. Instead, they tried to shove me into a brand-new car while refusing to give me any real numbers. The whole vibe was shady, manipulative, and clearly based on the assumption that, because I’m a young woman, I wouldn’t catch on. Their process felt crooked from start to finish, and they made zero effort to help me. I would absolutely never recommend this place to anyone. It was a complete waste of time and came across as nothing more than a scam. The best part? I went just 1 mile down the road and got approved for a car with an affordable payment — the exact type of payment Dennis Dillon swore was “impossible.” Turns out the only thing impossible here is getting honest help from this dealership. Avoid this place at all costs

We bought a Ford Explorer with 80k miles on it. Dennis Dillon says they check their used vehicles before they sell them, but this branch at least doesn't seem to have an actual mechanic. I think he just checked to see if there was oil and it was ready to sell. On Dec 19th our Engine had Catastrophic Engine Failure! The vehicle came with a 90 day warranty and we drove it from basically September - December 19th. So, about 109 days. I understood that we were past the warranty and asked if they could do something for us. On Dec 21st or so I was able to get a hold of someone and they mentioned possibly getting me a used engine and said they would have someone call me. Nobody ever did. I called and called and sent emails and even got the BBB involved but never heard from them. I ended up spending $7500 on a remanufactured engine and labor on a vehicle that I already had a large loan on and Dennis Dillon just ignored me. I wasn't even asking for much help. Buyer beware! They do not back their products. Update: We have not received an email from the General Manager, but we did get a response to our complaint with the BBB. Dennis Dillon basically said there was nothing wrong with the engine, as far as they could tell, when they sold it. I'd say take any car to an independent mechanic before you buy anything from this place.

Had a great experience purchasing our first side-by-side. I was promptly greeted by David as I walked in, and soon we were looking at some of their inventory and putting some numbers together. Every step was no-nonsense and all numbers quoted were transparent and straightforward. After a seamless experience, I can definitely recommend them to anyone else looking for a professional, pressure-free experience in making their purchase. Ask for David and/or Matt and you will not be disappointed!

Went in with hopes of finding a car and left upset. False advertisement. They say bad credit, Lies. They say no money down, lies. Fell in this yes category they have and still didnt get approved. They wanted 3,000 down. Definitely not what they advertised for it says $99 down at there lot. Waste of my time. If you have bad credit and no money down even if it's $500 you won't get qualifed

When I walked into Dennis Dillon Canyon Honda in Nampa, I wanted to know about their Fresh Start program in which they went into detail on as soon as we sat down. The least i expected was to look at a used car, for them to say that I didn’t qualify due to my bad credit. But after only a couple of hours, Corey and his team were able to help me walk away with a new car that I never thought I’d ever had to drive much less qualify for. So happy with the service and effort to help me out!! The overall experience and customer service was great and much appreciated. I highly recommend this place and their Fresh Start program!

I have a 2014 Honda Foreman four wheeler that we bought brand new. 11 years later (with just regular maintenance like oil change etc) has over 26 thousand miles with original motor and transmission. From what I understand these four wheelers typically go at most 18k miles. I highly recommend anything with a honda motor if you want longevity and reliability. Anyway I play to continue to use my four wheeler and i would like to get 30k miles before it needs a motor replacement.

We were looking for a car for our daughter and Cory was great to work with, even on a very busy Saturday when most of their employees were otherwise occupied at the expo. He even took the time to make sure other customers were assisted while we waited for our paperwork was being prepared. Only giving Dennis Dillon Honda in Nampa two stars instead of one because the salesman was really great and it isn't his fault his boss shafted him. I primarily dealt with the salesman, and it was a good experience until the very end. I test drove the car and offered $400 less than asking price. Took a few days going back and forth with the salesman until he could talk to his manager and they agreed to my suggested price plus fees. The car battery needed jumped when I test drove it the first day, so they agreed to throw in a new battery. They ran my credit online, happily told me I was approved and to come get it. Dealership was in Nampa, I live Boise. Told them I get off work at 6pm(when they close) and they said "no problem, we'll wait for you". I took off work an hour early to get the paperwork together and try to get there as soon as possible to be considerate. Show up at 6:24pm, there's several other customers actively dealing with other salesman so I'm relieved. The salesman showed us the paperwork, it didn't have the agreed upon price on it. There was no information on the loan or rate. He apologized and assured me his finance team would fix it while I took the car for one more test drive to test the new battery. Test drive was fine, told the salesman I'd take it and he walked me back inside to finish up. Then this new person comes over holding the finance paperwork and gruffly introduces himself as the store manager. He is combative from the get go. He gets offended that I don't want to sit down (I explain I've been sitting all day). Then he condescendingly informs me that whatever deal I made with them wasn't going to happen. They've only had the car a few weeks and he isn't willing to sell it for less than asking price. His tone was snide and accusatory. I was shocked and told him that they had already agreed to the price and if they won't honor it that's fine, but I won't be buying it. He sneered and said "You're going to walk over a couple of dollars after we all stayed late for YOU?!!?" This person could have approached that conversation in a polite way, but he didn't. There was literally no reason for his anger and aggression. That poor salesman. He really worked hard for that sale. He was great. He deserves a better boss and job.

I can't begin to find the words to thank Daisy enough at Dennis Dillon Canyon Honda for getting me back on the road in a brand new KIA K4 !!! I was worried that my bad credit would make buying a new car impossible. Daisy explained the Fresh Start Program in detail and made me feel very welcome from the moment I walked in. She treated me with the utmost respect, never judged my situation, and worked hard to find a car and payment plan that fit my budget.The entire process was smooth and stress-free. Im genuinely shocked by the serviced I received!! As soon as I got out of my car I was greeted by Garrett, very warm and friendly and he understood exsactly what I was getting after, which was the fresh start program! I was very skeptical I was even going to get through to even look at any cars given my situation but very quickly they let me know that I could in fact be driving out of that lot with a new car!! The whole team was absolutely amazing at explain everything between how it all worked and numbers, I truly have never had a more simplified experience while buying a car! They were able to work with my situation and sure enough I drove off in a car I never thought I would own!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING experience from beginning to end and HUGE SHOUT OUT to Garrett for being an awesome dude and keeping the environment professional but comfortable, it kept the nerves at bay and absolutely boosted my confidence while going through the stress of buying a car!!
