Took tour through facility provided by my company. Got to see first hand how trailers are built from tires up.

Absolutely terrible company. Their warranty department is completely worthless. Good luck getting anything approved. Neal Stafford and Kendrick Cox specifically should be fired for the absolute garbage job they do. DO BETTER!!!

I purchased a new Sundance 2016 XLT 269TS fifth-wheel in NH just days before leaving for a long cross-country trip. As an experienced RV owner, I realize that is not the preferred way to shake down a new unit. This was a leftover trailer, and looked is pretty sorry shape, but the price was right and I figured It couldn't be too bad. I mistakenly assumed that my dealer, who shall remain nameless (Campers Inn of Merrimack, NH...oops), would have at least gone through the camper and fixed a few of the problems noted both pre and post-delivery. Much to my dismay, this was not the case and to make matters worse, a few of the prep items were done incorrectly as well. More issues came up on the road and by the time I reached our primary destination I had amassed a sizable punch list. Several calls to the factory were promptly returned and a plan of action was put together. The factory found a local dealer and was able to get me in the repair queue with short notice. The end result was that every punch list item was addressed and my rig is performing quite satisfactorily. Kudos to Heartland for stepping up and helping a dissatisfied customer become a fan of their products. This is my fourth RV (two truck campers and a Class C), and I understand that no rig is perfect. In the end it really comes down to how the dealer represents the manufacturer, and how the manufacturer deals with problems. This experience has taught me that: 1. You have to really scrutinize the dealership you choose to work with (I came to find out that mine has a one-star BBB rating), and 2. If you are reasonable and want to work with the manufacturer, they will go out of their way to stand by their products. Suffice to say that I am now a loyal Heartland customer and will definitely upgrade to one of their premium models when the time comes.

multiple things fell apart within first year of ownership. warranty denied because i did not inspect every 3 months interval. I am surprised these don’t fall apart exiting the factory. Oh customer service was nice to denied your 1 year warranty too. These units make “made in China” feel like the gold standard

We purchased a 2021 Mallard, made during COVID. The quality of workmanship during this time was atrocious! The camper was in the shop so much and it took so long for anything to get fixed that our one year warranty ran out before we could get everything fixed. So disappointed with the customer service and Heartland for not backing their product!

We bought a 2019 Sundance 221RB at the end of the 2019 camping season (August). We've been complete and utterly disappointed in the quality and finish of this unit and regret every having bought a Heartland Product. It started out with pieces of wood trim falling off and all the cord holders for the blinds pulled out. That lead to water leaks in the pressure system and grey water system, failure of the awning and slide out, the black water tank always reads full, the furnace stopped working, one of the jacks wouldn't stay up, the fan on the vent failed, the molding on the countertops is coming off and the screws an bolts that hold the glass top on the stove keep coming out. It appears this company has no quality control at all.

I have owned my 2021 Heartland Snake River Ultralight 278BH trailer since July of 2021 and have had nothing but issues with it. Heartland is still producing models that utilize the same materials that they have beem telling me since last july they dont have access to. We have had 2 open work orders with their dealer Bretz RV with no less that 14 issues on each ticket and they still arent done with it, 9 months later due to Heartlands lack of ability to part with materials for an existing customer so that they can sell some other unsuspecting buyer another peice of garbage. Now the fridge and airconditioner are both out and we have only used the trailer twice in a year. What is going on? How have we come so far to be this bad. It almost seems like they are working at being worse and worse. From an owner of a Heartland, brand new trailer, it is not worth your time or money. If you read my google reviews youll find that Heartland and their Dealer Bretz rV in Nampa are the only reviews because this is a $45,000 investment that has been garbage from the beginning and keeps getting worse and there is no accountability. One of the toughest parts of all this is that their dealer is no better than they are... welcome to the "New normal" as they say. Terrible service, terrible product and terrible to work with. Id love to have the operations manager of Heartland give me a direct call since they havent seemed keen on helping out an existing owner by just making the trailer complete. Dont waste your time on Heartland products. Confluence, Jayco and Outdoors RV's are made well and have great customer service. Good luck with this Heartland, since I cant get out if this lemon until I pay most of it off, i have to wait to unload this dead weight and you will not see my patronage again.

We purchased an lithium camper and had nothing but issues with it and heartland tells us they will not warranty it and will need to contact our insurance when it is poor quality workman ship on their end. we have interior lights that don't work vinyl floor bubbling up ceiling panels coming loose spare tire fell off 1 mile from the dealer on day 1 damaging the siding. And a tone of others that the dealer fixed so we could go camping. Piss poor quality control and pride in their work.

Bought a 2020 Big Country. Bad mistake. Only thing worse than Heartland’s craftsmanship is their customer service. Leaks, gray water tanks installed improperly, and now two broken wall joints. Don’t make the mistake that I made of purchasing a Heartland product.

Be aware!!! Don’t buy a Heartland RV!!! We bought a Mallard M260, 33’ travel trailer from Camping World in June of 2022. In August of 2023, the first time getting it ready to take out for the season, I noticed almost the entire external storage area had mold. (a couple weeks later we also noticed the windows in the popout were leaking really bad when it rained. I also noticed I could see daylight near the floor on one side of the popout.) I called Camping World to tell them about the mold issues, the service representative said, your warranty ended two months ago, that we should make an appointment for a leak test. We brought it in, they did the leak test and found that every seal around every vent and other structures on the roof except for the seal around the air conditioner had leaks. They also found leaks everywhere on the sides, front and back of our brand new trailer. It was going to cost $1,100 to clean and reseal the roof and $2,000 to clean and reseal the sides, front and back of our trailer. We were told the mfg warranty for this was 90 days. 90 days, what does that say about the confidence this mfg has in their own product? We purchased an extended warranty, but were told this warranty did not cover these issues. In my opinion, this mfg makes a shoddy product. What type of quality checks do they do before they let the product leave their site? My husband cleaned and resealed all the areas that had leaks for significantly less then the quoted price from Camping World. Quite frankly, we should not have had these issues at all if this was a well manufactured product. Food for thought, before you buy a brand new travel trailer, ask questions about the warranty on all equipment and SEALS. Know that you can do most repairs on your own and not get gouged by the service department.

Purchased a 2022 Heartland RG27 from Camping World in Idaho Falls. Nothing but trouble. Toilet leaked internally. Inverter had problems. Winterized and left over the winter to find that the ceiling had started coming down all throughout the RV, and walls started to separate. Dealing with dealership and manufacturer has been the worst I have ever heard of. Will NEVER purchase anything from this brand or it's affiliates ever again. Still waiting to get unit back, purchased in May of '22 and have only been able to use it twice. When you have problems with your Heartland RV, get legal advice and go for a buy back.

Dancing around warranties will not get you anywhere. Products have warranties of their own. So when your company ADVERTISES a 3 or 5 year warranty and you don't honor it because you blame the consumer and the companies products you chose to use instead of your shoddy workmanship YOU better be able to back it up. We can absolutely drag other large name companies into a suit. I'm sure they will back their products and not allow YOU, Heartland, to place the blame on them/their product. The products have their own warranties (if installed properly). GET READY!!!! ALSO, LOOKS TO ME LIKE YOU ENCOURAGE YOUR UNDERPAID STAFF TO GIVE 5 star reviews as part of hire on orientation. . That is laughable, and was easily researched. You should be embarrassed.

1 star for this manufacture is too much credit. These Heartland RV are horrible. Poorly made. Absolutely no quality control. Dont bother trying to get something covered under warranty. Warranty is more than lacking. Leaving it up to the customer to install and pay for things that should already be in the rv and paid by the manufacturer! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! Heartland is nothing they advertise! Anything Heartland or Thor is a horrible product. If they continue to build product and screw over consummers i see a class action lawsuit building in there future! No water heaters No shower surrounds Built incorrectly Fall apart And are in the repair shop more than the camp ground.

Terrible product from @thorindustries . Bought a brand new trailer from @manteca_trailer_motorhome in September. Used it once and it was fine, no rain in N CA until February. In February we discovered it was leaking at every roof window- faulty sealant?? Has to be, it is brand new and hasn’t been in a storm etc. @heartland_rv do not stand by their warranties- they claim that if we had inspected it every three months it wouldn’t have leaked?? Gabe @heartland_rv is trying to avoid paying out for a fault on the trailer due to poor quality sealant. It is clearly a manufacturing defect and couldn’t have been avoided by us inspecting it (when it wasn’t raining- are we trained trailer inspectors????? NO. @thorindustries and @heartland_rv are in breach of contract and are failing to cover the warranty that we agreed to. Faulty products from a terrible business. Avoid #rv #trailers #camping #campinglife #rvlife #rvliving #california #vacation #trailerpark #campingtrip #campinggear

$170,000 fifth wheel... I have fixed endless problems caused by poor quality control and zero care. Everything leaked, nothing put together properly, awning doesn’t roll up straight, microwave is mounted at an angle, bathtub drain wasn’t screwed on half way, stud behind the dryer vent “drill here” sticker. The pull out grill heat shield box was about 13” too small for the hole cut out for it…. a cat could jump into our basement, the water pump filter wasn’t screwed down so what a wet surprise that was! Look at the mess underneath! Also let’s not forget I had to remove the wall in storage to get my one control password. Stove mounts broke immediately so that thing just flies around wherever..Pathetic really… Oh and all but 4 drawers in the entire camper stayed up after going 40 miles. I’m talking the tracks literally fell out and good luck getting those screws back in. Actual value I’d put on this: $7,000 for axels, suspension, wheels and tires $2,000 for appliances $300 for mattresses $25,000 for all other materials max
