I would recommend Town Fair Tire in West Haven, Ct I have been coming here for several years, this year I had some problems with my rims and tires because the rims are aluminum. Adam the Manager was very professional and patient took time to get to the root of the problem.Thank you Adam and his Staff. It's difficult to find someone who you can depend on

I suggest making sure you know what you have to pay before hand cause I was told one price one day and a different price when they finished. VERY DISORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL... Said I would just have to pay for balance and that's like 14$, somehow it was 43$. Mind you I left my tire to get fixed I called to pick it up and when I got there they couldn't do my tire made 0 sense why not call and inform me. Just a very unorganized unprofessional experience I do not suggest this location at all!

There's good people in this place... but I gave it one star ... because the first person who opens the door and he will be there before anyone else...is really bad ...bossy ...no manner...ignorant...and don't waste your time trying to ask him questions because he will not answer you...and by the way...all of his coworkers know about him

I stopped in to get tires and was taken care of immediately. Manager was attentive and upsold me on everything to make sure my tires will be good for the life of my car. Staff in the back took care of my vehicle and Macho was a great help in pointing out problems made by another car repair place I've unfortunately used. Overall excellent work, in and out in less than 40minutes.

Called up today just looking for an apology just from incompetence. 4 years ago my sister went to one of the location. They refused to tell me which one it was and who was the salesman. I was trying to teach them something and let them know they made a mistake that set me back about ten k in car debt. The last time that car went there is was for a summer time tire change over. My mom must of lost or forgotten one set of lugs ( how much you wanna bet they forgot to put them back from last time, honest mistake, but if they had done right thing here and now it wouldn't come this review.) As the story goes, I had to get a new car and mom offered to let me have my sisters untill I developed income to get approved for a loan, pandemic times and all. As I got the car it had severe slipping transmission. My mom doesn't understand but that is why she wanted a new car. I went to take it to the shop cause of rust on the rotors. And the mechanic told me it had the wrong lugs. I didn't get the gravity of the situation, but I do now as I obtained a job there and they themselves explained it to me. As I went to sell the old wheels from my sisters car. I noticed that it was missing a set. Five years later at the moment I remembered what a trusted mechanic had told me as he took them off the car and put the correct ones to deter the situation from getting worse. So thinking about it today. I just wanted to know who did it and why? Rich Allen the brilliant automotive engineer he had to say on a awd drive car only one wheel with the wrong lugs would of never did it. He boasted admitly about being an expert in the business for twenty years. He said nothing of the sort would happen and it only damage the wheel, right cause he said the hub would fit. I was there three weeks and instantly knew more them him with just my intuition. So I told him I'd asked around. Five separate people all from the service end said it was obvious. Not only that but I can not get google ai even to say its not possible. Honestly my sister is lucky she's alright. I'm sorry to let you know Rich Allen that the type of damage you are talking about it if they had done that to all four wheels. This man really said there a multi million automotive business and they didn't even have a engineer to help let him know he was wrong. He didn't even google it before responding. Unfortunately its been so long there is really nothing I can do. I guess the bad goes do always win and just so you know here's the response from Google ai sometimes it right sometimes its really stupid. If incorrect wheel lug nuts are installed on an all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle, even with matching tires, it can lead to significant damage to the AWD system, reduced handling, and potentially void the vehicle's warranty. Yes, having a wheel with incorrect lug configuration on an AWD car can damage the differential, transmission, and drivetrain components. The incorrect lug pattern can cause the wheel to not mount properly, leading to uneven tire pressure, and the AWD system to compensate for the discrepancy in tire rotation, which can lead to overheating and premature failure of drivetrain components. P.S. guys this is really isn't that hard expect this story to go all over new enganld. Or maybe pick up a book, or maybe go on hold and ask someone who isn't you.

Made an appointment for a tire replacement on 1/16/26 for 1/24/26 when I went in I was told that the person who scheduled my appointment never ordered my tires. Very unprofessional & not only that I have insurance for my tires, I was told that the thread was to low so it didn’t cover my tires replacement. I took my car else where down the road which they patched my tire & told me that my tire thread was in good condition. This place is a joke ! Personally feel like they are just scammers but that’s just my opinion.

I had my tires replaced there. It began well. They were very good about price matching and letting me ship tires there. The tires were expedited, customer service was good and I was on my way. Around 2 weeks later, the pressure dropped significantly, 7psi(s) in both tires on the passenger side while I was driving on the highway in another state. I went back to speak to someone when I returned to home yesterday. I was told the problem would need to be diagnosed in order to correct it. I took my vehicle to a local Pep Boys later that evening to correct the tire pressure, which Firestone do not offer to do. I found out that my tires were all over inflated by approximately 9psi(s). That’s extremely dangerous to be driving on. Totally unacceptable!! Whoever the employee(s) are should have known better. Thank goodness nothing severe happened!! This is a tire shop and they work with tires!!! Correct??!!!
