First time using Toy Tech for something other repair shops couldn’t figure out with my 3rd gen 4runner and they were great! Very knowledgeable/personable and figured out what was going on and charged what I thought to be a very fair price. Will be using again!

Toy tech is easily the most honest, up front auto shop I have ever dealt with! I feel safe driving my Toyota knowing they have gone over it.

The team at Toy Tech is fantastic! I drove all the way from Denver to have them work on my car because you won’t find a shop with more honesty, integrity, and expertise anywhere. They do great work and treat their customers fairly. Thank you!

I have had my vehicles worked on by Toy Tech for over 20 years. Tacoma and now Tundra. They are honest, reliable, fair, friendly and family owned/ operated. I will always buy Toyotas so I can keep them as my mechanics!

My visit at Toy Tech was very professional. From the phone conversations and appointment to have my 4 runner rear brakes and rotors replaced. The job was done in the time frame that was quoted as well as the estimated price. I’m very pleased with all aspects of my experience and will be sending my Toyota business to Toy Tech again. Great people to work with.

Kim and staff are the BEST. I have saved hundreds of $’s when they determined the issue was much simpler than thought. It’s rare to work with people so honest and ethical! Two Toyota owners who will never go elsewhere!

This review is long overdue. These guys are great to work with. They outlined exactly what needed to happen with my Sequoia, showed me each issue, and then prioritized the repairs so I could make a decision on how much I could afford to repair. Highly recommend them. There is a reason why there is a wait to get into their shop. Recommend getting there early and before issues arise!

The only shop in Colorado Springs that I trust with my Toyotas. They do honest work at a fair price. You don't need to worry about them up selling you things that are unnecessary. Thanks as always!

I was very pleased with the work that was done on my '88 Toyota Pick Up, correctly diagnosing and fixing two coolant leaks and my radiator fan, instead of replacing my water pump which may have unnecessarily been done by someone else. Kim the service writer was very knowledgeable and communicating throughout the whole work process with price updates before work was done.

Toy Tech is the best when it comes to servicing Toyotas and Lexus. Kim is great to work with. Family owned business where reputation is everything. I have trusted them with my ‘02 Land Cruiser over the years. 280K miles and runs perfectly. Recently had them replace valve covers gaskets, coil packs, brakes, rotors, wheel bearings and a few other things to keep it in tip top shape. Thanks Toy Tech and thanks Kim!

I think I found my new mechanic shop! Brought in my new to me 2014 Camry for an oil change. They found that part of the oil filter case was missing that center cylinder so they replaced that for me and I am glad to know things seem good with my car overall. I appreciate the good work and a nice visit I had with Kim. I will see you in 6 months for my 100k maintenance :)

100% rock solid trust in these folks. Demonstrated through action following words many times. They will tell you the truth and take care of your car like it’s their own. Kim and Matt are the best at what they do. Their knowledge and skills with Toyota trucks/vehicles is encyclopedic. Only purchased 2 vehicles my whole life, because they have lasted me my whole life. Both 4Runners. So I’ve met a quite few ‘Toyota’ mechanics in my time. Will always take my 4Runner here over a dealership garage. They will keep you off-roading and on, and the trust, skills and knowledge they offer are priceless. Thank you Toy Tech!

AI Research to Expert Reality – Toy Tech is the Real Deal I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma with 142k miles that recently threw a knock sensor code. After doing a deep dive with AI to understand the repair, costs, and necessary OEM parts, I was led straight to Toy Tech in Colorado Springs. From the first call, Kim was a total pro. She was incredibly knowledgeable and confirmed exactly what my truck needed. What started as a knock sensor job turned into a major overhaul; since the truck was already there, I asked to add a timing belt and water pump service. While working, Kim found a leaking radiator, a steering rack issue, and cracked drive belts. The Toy Tech Difference: Unlike most shops that make you reschedule for "extra" work, they tackled everything at once. Kim sent photos of every issue so I could see the proof for myself. My truck is now mechanically sound and the quality of work is top-tier. It’s a huge relief to have found a shop that values quality and efficiency as much as their customers do. 10/10 recommend!

Discovered Toy Tech many many years ago and they always performed fabulous work at a very reasonable price on my 1992 pickup way back then. Fast forward, I brought my 2022 4Runner in for A 60k service. I was so delighted that Kim was still there and her brother are continuing the legendary service that their father started years ago. Superb personable customer service, and fast quality work at a great price! Very thankful they are still in service. They know Toyota, so if you own a Toyota or Lexus, do yourself a favor. BRING YOR VEHICLE HERE! There is a good reason for all the 5 star reviews. Thank you Kim and Matt! You guys are the best!!!

Hands down the best Toyota/Lexus repair shop I’ve worked with in Colorado. I moved here in late 2023 and was daunted by the task of finding a trustworthy mechanic for my 2015 Lexus GX460. After two years of dedicated service, I can sincerely say Toy Tech is the shop I trust for anything my SUV needs. This family-run business (Kim, Matt, Tyler, Zach and team) operates with an honesty and expertise that’s truly refreshing. Professionalism & Expertise: Toy Tech focuses exclusively on Toyota and Lexus vehicles - and it shows. Their depth of knowledge on these brands is unparalleled. They take the time to diagnose issues thoroughly and explain everything clearly. I had a major oil leak and a few other age-related problems on my GX460. Toy Tech walked me through the needed repairs step by step, even inviting me into the garage to see the problem areas on the engine firsthand. They used OEM Toyota/Lexus parts (no aftermarkets) and clearly have master-level expertise in Lexus engineering. For example, my GX460 required an involved engine tear-down due to failed factory gaskets (valve covers, oil pan reseal, rear main seal - a significant repair). I’ve included photos showing the transmission removed during the repair (before the engine removal), as well as the specific oil leak points that were identified where the original form-in-place seals failed. Toy Tech handled it all with confidence. They walked me through their thinking and troubleshooting process both before and during the repair. It’s rare to find mechanics willing to educate you about the repair process. Customer Service & Care: Beyond pure technical skill, the Toy Tech team truly cares about their customers. I felt like more than just a number as they remembered my name, my vehicle, and my concerns each visit. When my repair turned out to be extensive, Kim kept me updated with regular phone calls as the work progressed. I never had to wonder what was going on with my rig. It’s clear Toy Tech stands behind their work: after the big repair, they asked me to return in a couple of weeks for a quick follow-up inspection (at no charge) just to ensure everything was 100%. Who does that? They are friendly, honest, and committed to quality. Results: My Lexus now runs solidly - no more oil leaks, and the engine feels strong and smooth. In addition to regular maintenance, Toy Tech has addressed several other issues along the way (engine misfiring, coolant levels, transmission servicing, etc.). The pricing was fair for the amount of work and expertise involved, and they stuck to their estimates. There were no surprises except for how above-and-beyond the service was. It’s obvious this crew takes pride in what they do. They even gave me tips on maintenance intervals and what to watch for in the future given the age of my vehicle – as well as how to extend its life. Toy Tech has earned my trust for the long haul, and I recommend them to any Toyota/Lexus owner without hesitation. Precious few businesses earn a raving review from me, but Toy Tech has absolutely earned it. They turned what could have been a stressful repair experience into a positive one. If you want knowledgeable, dependable Toyota/Lexus specialists who treat you like family, Toy Tech is the place. I’m so grateful to have found them – they’ve gained a lifelong customer in me. Services performed on my Lexus GX460 these last two years include - Engine & Powertrain: Engine oil leak diagnosis, timing cover reseal, valve cover gaskets, timing chain tensioner, VVT-i cam phaser service, upper/lower oil pan reseal, rear main seal, FIPG reapplication; transmission R&R, mount replacement, WS fluid service; driveshaft inspection; exhaust repairs. Fuel & Emissions: A/F sensor, O2 sensors, EVAP repair, injector cleaning for misfire, MAF cleaning, OEM iridium spark plugs, ignition coil inspection. Cooling, Maintenance & Diagnostics: Water pump and coolant service; engine oil and oil filter service; air and cabin air filters; OBD-II diagnostics, readiness checks, test drives.
