Ordered a specialty tool and paid for next air shipping. 6 days later and several calls later. They refuse to refund the shipping that I paid for. I do not recommend them! Buyer beware!

I love it Marty is the coolest person you'll ever meet: but the cost matches the service my car was having codes of misfiring and it had a rattling noise that was loud an I took it to mieneke and they said that the flexplate wasn't the problem even though when they pulled it out they showed it to me an explain how it is used and what was wrong with it and during the whole process the gave me suggestions on what NEEDS to be repaired for the car to run smoothly and I took it in for a diagnostic on engine and transmission and they found it and called me each time something change which it did when they opened the engine and transmission and even put on struts and control arms now my 06 Hyundai Sonata GLS V6. I felt good about this when the mechanics said if It can be fixed on a car we will fix it and THEY DID!!! Dec 19, 2015 So time has passed by and I've noticed the car pulls to the right and cars are supposed to do this but I took it to Houston and Dallas and I had to keep a firm hand on the wheel and today I brought it in to see why I kept losing tire pressure so rapidly (it was a small nail) but in fixing the alignment with a good ole John Bean alignment mechine we look and my brake caliper bolt is missing and had the caliper gone up it would have locked the wheel and cause a crazy crash I would hear what sounded like a dinner plate being placed on top of another dinner plate when I hit a bump but I found out that it was the calipers moving freely which make my rate of TAT's change.

I cannot say enough about the professionalism, expertise, and service provided. I had been advised by a local car dealership that my 5 year old vehicle, with only 36,000 miles, need a new (and very expensive) replacement ZF8 transmission due to resulting error codes. The folks at TAT (Gordon and Harley) took the time to do more than hook up a diagnostic scanner and read the error codes. They evaluated both the physical condition of the transmission (fluids and etc) and how the codes were occurring. They subsequently traced the recurring error code issue back to a loose wiring harness connection with no mechanical issues requiring a new transmission. Cost for analysis and fix was only slightly more than what the dealership charged for “just” their analysis. Extremely glad that I found TAT and got a second opinion. Will be using and recommending them for all future work.

I broke down on I10 on a Friday night, Just made it to a Pilot truck stop. I I stayed there 3 nights sleeping in my van. Monday morning I Had My Van towed to their shop after a conversation with the manager, He seemed to know what he was talking about. I thought my transmission was needing work, but after 2 days of waiting in a hotel room for a call back with what was wrong, I was notified that my front differential was the issue but wouldn't know till it was pulled. it was alluded that it wouldn't be ready basically till next week. meanwhile I'm stuck at a hotel, with no effort to expedite the job, or really get into it. I had them disconnect my front axial and drive shaft (van has AWD) so I could leave . I drove a few miles and the front end started making a lot of noise as well as not tracking. turned out the front wheel hub bearing was the issue. I replaced it myself in an hour and was on my way, These guys may have fixed my car eventually but lost faith in there diagnostics. It looked like it would've taken a couple weeks. May be a good shop if you are local and you have a spare car to drive while you patently wait. I was traveling.

Randomly drove by shop and saw a/c repair and stopped in for my 1984 GMC with original a/c that wasnt working. Ken (owner) had me drop off truck for one day and gave me a very detailed report for everything I needed and why it was needed (old r-12 update to 134a). Let me know it would take a few days to get all the parts in. I dropped off the truck and took about 3 days to get up and running (less than he estimated). When I picked up the truck he took me for a test ride and explained everything, broke it down to very simple terms. Explained every line item of cost. Excellent craftsmanship and customer service, no fancy store front which I appreciate...helps keep the price down for the customer. Bonus was I found out its veteran owned! Have already been recommending to my coworkers.

Suburban was waiting on an engine to be done from them for over a year. the broke the first crate engine they got. Then Couldn't figure out what was wrong with the second engine because They failed to install the wiring harness correctly. damaged my flywheel, transmission, and more by changing it wrong. Then they would never complete their warranty work, and hid the problems. They vandalized my vehicle, said i probably did it when i took it for a weekend after it was supposed to be fixed, and i had to bring it back again.. They would not provide footage for their cameras. Claiming they didnt go back more than a few days. Vehicle is still having their mistakes fixed at my expense. They act like they know a lot.

Service is terrible, took my car in & came back worse then it was. will never go back the guy the OWNER is rude and will walk away as you’re speaking like he does not care . & this is Why this city is the way it is cause people like the OWNER need to grow up & get work done , quit playing & do YOUR JOB . Instead they be sitting around having the door locked and not doing anything I DO NOT RECOMMEND.!!!!!! Would give ZERO stars if I could .

I highly recommend this transmission shop! Ken has been an absolute God send. If not for his tenacity and pride in his work I would still be broke down and wondering what was wrong with my car. I don't think I know anyone who would have worked so hard to not only fix but properly and thoroughly fix a transmission the way Ken does. I took my 82 Corvette to have several things done. They fixed my electric windows, fixed my ac (previous owner had it all screwed up) and charged it, fixed my speedometer, found what was draining my battery, and rebuilt my transmission (was pulling and shifting hard). Price was good too! They took their time and call with updates throughout the process. The owner, I believe his name is Ken, is now family. Lol. He took his time to explain things and give recommendations on other repairs. It wasn’t just about tricking me into spending more money. Things that he felt I could do on my own, he let me know. All the staff was friendly and nice as well. I will be back for more repairs! If you are reading this, go ahead and take your vehicle here. You won’t regret it!

They would have more stars from me if possible. They were very kind, and very knowledgeable at what they do. They were able to talk to me about what was going on with my vehicle in terms I could actually understand. Most shops I’ve gone to have left me feeling confused and ripped off but the guys are the complete opposite! Highly recommend coming here if you need any of their services.
