Had an accident on a Sunday and all the auto shops were closed. The tow truck driver recommended this place because the owner takes in cars even though they were closed. The owner even dropped me off at a Starbucks to wait for my ride home. They did great work on my car and clearly explained what they replaced.

Im not one to leave a review, but I had to for TranStar Auto Body! WOW! I got into an accident and thought my car was totaled. I was so worried I would have to get a new car and have a car payment. Luckily, because of TranStar's affordability, my car was not totaled! In fact, TranStar Auto Body Shop went ABOVE AND BEYOND with my car's repairs! They even gave me brand new floor mats and changed my oil complementary. My car was returned as if the accident never happened, and was detailed beautifully. My car feels brand new! I have needed body work done on my car three times in the past year and a half (two were hit and runs with no notes left on my car.) Therefore, I have chosen to pay out of pocket for repairs. TranStar Auto Body Shop (and Phat Tran in particular) is the best. Phat is kind, efficient, affordable, knowledgeable, and very talented. This time I asked him to do some extra work (old scrapes and scratches.) My seven-year-old Mazda 3 looks brand new. Big thanks to Phat for consistently good work.

Everybody told me that my car was totaled but they were able to fix my car very quickly and it looks amazing; I couldn't be more pleased. I even got regular updates about the status of the car and they were very transparent with what they were doing during the whole process. They even fixed all of the minor scratches my car had and did additional services that I didnt even ask for. I highly recommend them and will be back if I have any other car issues.

I really can't recommend this place enough. I'd been putting off dealing with some bumper damage for ages because I didn't know a good body shop in the area but I finally got an estimate from TranStar (which was quick, easy, and fair). Then we had the whole pandemic thing and I got a little sidetracked. But when I called months later to schedule the repairs, they remembered the estimate and I was able to bring my car in the next day. When they found more damage under the bumper, they took care of the repairs (and the insurance communication) swiftly and painlessly. When it was time to pick up my car, it looked brand new. They'd even managed to repair some damage a previous shop had told me they couldn't fix. It looked so good, I wanted to go find a sideshow just to show it off. They detailed it inside and out and even managed to remove the paint scuffs from the time I let my roommate borrow my car (never again). All this to say: if you're trying to find a fair, trustworthy, and talented auto shop, this it the one. 5 stars. 10 stars! All the stars!

Unfortunately, I have needed body work done on my cars three or four times over the past few years. A couple of times I had to pay out of pocket for repairs. Fortunately, I know thatTranStar Auto Body Shop (Phat Tran) provides just the service you need. Phat is very personable and efficient. His prices are fair. He is knowledgeable and you can tell that he knows what he is talking about. I needed to have the side view mirror replaced. In addition, in the last few years the 2016 Altima had picked up dents and scratches and was looking pretty ratty. When Phat was done, the car looked bright and shiny. This was not a one-time thing. If you go to TranStar Auto Body Shop, you can expect superior work. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

TranStar took great care of me today. I brought my car in for help with a crack in the sunroof frame. Phat was thorough: he found two more cracks that needed to be patched. He and his team fixed all three, cleared my sunroof drains, and cleaned my car as a bonus. My repair was totally affordable and completed in a couple of hours. Highly recommended!

This is the best mechanic and auto body shop I've ever found. My front bumper got ripped off when I was parked on the street and my neighbors gave me their insurance info. so I could get it replaced. I contacted Uptown Auto initially, and they took weeks to search for a new bumper and then told me they couldn't find one. So I called TranStar Auto and Mike told me to bring in my car right away and he could fix it immediately. I did and they not only replaced the front bumper on my old Chevy Prizm 2002 so that it looks new, they cleaned my car inside and out and fixed the problem with my interior smelling like exhaust for a few hundred dollars in addition, when another mechanic had told me that I'd need a new catalytic converter that would cost thousands. They made me love my old car again and I'm so happy that I found a mechanic I can trust.

Amazing service, responsive, they got rid of the paint transfer/scrape on my car, costing half of what another shop estimated. Now my dealership won't screw me over when my lease ends! All for $150! Plus you can walk to Pho Ao Sen for good Vietnamese food while you wait. I highly recommend them.
