This is the place you want to have your volvo repaired. Clean shop professional service techs. Had to have a complete engine overhaul. They kept me informed of my cars progress. when they needed time to fix injectors. They gave me a loaner. These guys above and beyond. In a day where good service is hard to find these guys are gold. Didn't know this establishment was so close to me. My trunk lid open light was on my 2010 Volvo S40 due to a sensor issue. Wasn't aware that the Poe Ave. Volvo dealership had closed until I went there. A worker there suggested Foreign Exchange so I took my Car there and was told we have to make a appointment just to look at it, and that was going to be about 2 weeks. Came home, Google who works on Volvo's in Dayt and Tremaine's name came up. I was totally unaware of them although I had passed the establishment on occasion. Took my Car here, the young man was very nice and professional, and looked at my vehicle and told me what the problem was immediately and another issue that didn't require immediate attention. They ordered the part and were nice enough to work around my schedule. This place is the best and the staff are so helpful and the pricing was more than fair. This will be the only place I will be taking my Car from now on.

If you have a Volvo you have to take it here. They’re one of the only mechanics in town that have the proper software to work on Volvos. They saved me 2k on work I didn’t need. They are the epitome of the golden rule. Trea people how you want to be treated.

As someone that does most of their own car maintenance and repairs, Tremaine's is pretty much the only shop I trust to work on my Volvo. The people that work there are very skilled, knowledgeable, and honest. The pricing is extremely reasonable, for both parts and labor. Also, Gary is a pleasure to work with and a man of his word! I have had my car worked on at Tremaine's for several larger/complex jobs I just can't handle on my own, including A/C leaks, an alternator concern, a condenser, and most recently, a radiator, thermostat, and some hoses. Each time, the costs as well as how the process will work have always been clearly communicated to me at each step, and everything has always gone smoothly. If they run into trouble on their end (for example, seized/rusty bolts), they always take care of you and get it done. Excellent, high-quality, and fast service overall. Any time there's work my Volvo needs which is beyond my own capabilities, it's going to Tremaine's. If you have a Volvo, I can't recommend them enough!

They did a great job. Got my 40,000 mile service completed in under 2 hours. Cost half what the dealership charges. You definitely want to call ahead to schedule your appointment. Especially if you want to wait on your vehicle. They typically do overnight for most vehicle repairs.

I just sold my XC60 that I’ve had the last six years, and I wanted to thank Tremaine’s for being the a big part of why I loved having that car all this time. This was my first Volvo and I had previously had the same mechanic my entire life, who unfortunately does not work on foreign cars. It was scary to try to find someone reliable and trustworthy. Luckily I was referred to Tremaine’s and it turned out finding someone reliable and trustworthy wasn’t difficult at all. Tremaines Auto-Volvo mechanics is top notch. Did great work on my Volvo, at a great price too! Gary even helped me with my brake fluid. I couldn't get the cap off and he was nice enough to come out and help me get my brake fluid topped-off. I know it doesn't seem like much, but to me, his help meant the world to me! Honest, professional, knowledgeable, and patient I have been to Tremaine's on a handful of occasions. Gary 2 and Tremaine's team are outstanding and have helped me fix the problems with the old 2006 Volvo V50 which I recently purchased. Firstly, they are extremely knowledgeable and Gary 2 was very patient with me when I had questions. Secondly, they are honest. When I had an engine code (0303) pop up, they told me that the code simply hadn't been reset and that the problem was fixed. They could have told me I needed new spark plugs and ignition coils but were honest. On another occasion they were able to fix some obscure issues (removing an old navigation system) which are probably rarely encountered. I am very glad Tremaine's exists, as it makes owning an older car more manageable. They are honest, professional, and knowledgeable. Thanks a million!

No gimmick on services that aren’t warranted either. I felt like the integrity of the company and team is a legacy they believe in by quality service and also the team completing the service in a timely manner.
