Truly awful service and attention to details. These guys took 4+ months to repair my 2008 F350 super duty only to get it back so completely and bafflingly screwed up if feel it necessary to share my frustrations and as a cautious tale for anyone considering using this place as a repair facility. When I first picked it up when it was "done" they had purchased and installed an incorrect size and type tire and they hadn't noticed it until I pointed it out which they corrected with a used tire when they were paid for a new tire. There remained a 3/4" gap at the rear door they"repaired" allowing water to enter the tool box, the dashboard was a shocking sight with every warning light on, check engine light, abs, tpms. no one in the shop had test driven this at all or then the time to clear codes but they let me leave with it anyways with frank telling me "I know I shouldn't let you drive away like this but I'm pretty sure you know how to drive a car without abs" correct me but isnt this a criminal act?. They 'forgot'to replace the damaged front bumper after I stood with them the day it was towed in and went over all the damage as was reported to the insurance company. There were emissions hoses disconnected causing a check engine light to come on an about an hour of me finding where it was. ,the abs wire harness was hanging out of the engine bay,and they never hooked up the headlight telling me the connection was burned so I had to reinstall that for them too., there were spots beneath the truck they ground paint off for a welder ground that was left unpainted. The main under hood Fuse box was loose in the engine bay and burned fuses scattered on the cowl when I picked it up. The intake air box with mass flow sensor was incorrectly installed causing it to bounce on the radiator shroud. To top it off it appears as one of the tech's carved a curse word into the air box probably due to frustration.as you can clearly see In the photos there is paint already peeling on the box and chipped paint at the latchcpear signs of zero prep or knowledge of paint procedures.. the entire time it was being serviced they were telling me it would be months to get a simple leaf spring however I found one in ten minutes with simple Google search. I truly believe they are not acting in my best interest and urge anyone reading this to dig deeper in their comment section to see how they treat other people when they voice concerns. I have zero confidence that any of the work performed is correct as when they aligned the truck it was done with a tire that was a smaller diameter and the truck now pulls to the left. We contacted our insurance carrier,State Farm and they urged us to bring it back so that tropical collision could rectify the remaining issues. We cannot in any manner justify stepping foot in their location and I will be responsible for the repairs remaining. In summary, go anywhere else fast as you can.

I was so thankul they had my Tesla ready within a month and on perfect timing on the day my rental was expired from my insurance. Just recently had my Silverado fully repaired by tropical collision not only was Chris very thorough. He was also very communicative and over delivered by finishing my car two weeks ahead of schedule. Gianni at the front desk was more than a pleasure every time I had to make phone correspondence or deal with any paperwork, and overall the attention to detail and quick turnaround on a relatively large job was incredible and I would recommend them to all of my friends/family and anybody that’s looking for a quality body shop in Miami.

Do not come here. They will tell you 2-3 weeks your car would be ready, it’s been over a month and my car still isn’t ready. Left side bumper and wheel alignment is taking well over a month. Everytime I try to call it’s always something new wrong with the car. I’m losing money and feel like they are making my car worst. I wouldnt even want my enemies to even come here. Not trust worthy at all. If you see a 5 star review it’s fake it’s their own people.

I had owned my vehicle for a month when I had an accident. It was all minor cosmetic damages. This is what I thought. I had a couple of estimates. They all said, superficially this is what we estimate. They ballparked along the same price range $4-5k. I chose Tropical because I felt it was a small business company and wanted to help us little people. 3 months and $22k later 😩, I get to pick up my car. I went through my insurance. It seems to be a double edged sword. I personally think, the company milked my insurance company for everything they could. The car looked beautiful, brand new. A day later, I had the car standing idle, its rattling. Badly!!! And loudly. Something it did not do when I bought it. I took it to the dealership. You might ask why not take it back to Tropical? I did not want my car to be held hostage for another month. It seems, the motor was leaning to one side. The dealership adjusted it. It runs like new again. Either Tropical did this for me to bring it back to them to keep milking my insurance company, or its sloppy workmanship. Hey.. I live in South Florida, anything is possible. I give it 2 stars because cosmetically, the car looks beautiful. Otherwise, I had to be the one calling every week for an update. It seemed every time I called, they would find something wrong with the vehicle. They removed the motor and did not place it back appropriately.

I want to set the record straight regarding my experience with Tropical Collision. My 2026 Tesla Model Y was in the shop for quite a while, and I initially thought the delay was on them. It turns out the fault was entirely with State Farm’s processing. Throughout the entire ordeal, the team at Tropical was incredibly professional and friendly. A huge thank you to Gianni Tejera and Rich, they were so understanding of my situation that they even provided me with a loaner car while we waited for the insurance red tape to clear.
