The alignment of the parts and paint job was not good. They promised to take care of that, and I released the money. After three months of trying, unlimited calls, and bringing my car two times, they didn’t even touch it. Now the paint has started to come off on the parts that they replaced. Definitely not recommended if you love your car.

Excellent care & service! Had to get an entire new clutch on my car - took 4 days, but this team is personable and informative and kept me updated the whole way through. The mechanic, Lou, showed me what they repaired and explained the clutch failure to me and also showed me the new parts under the hood. I spent a lot of money but they made it worth it because of how they treated me. Thank you, United!

This auto repair facility is top notch. From the initial phone call through the final repair, the service was excellent. They drove me home after dropping off the car for service. I received a call about an hour later detailing the problem and a repair estimate. Two hours later the car was fixed and delivered to my residence. They even called back a couple of days later to make sure the repair was fixed and that I was completely satisfied. The repair was true to the estimate and very fair and reasonable. I highly recommend United Auto and they are now the only facility I trust to service my vehicle. Five stars across the board for United Auto!

I got my rear breaks and rotors done. Great work! Great price! They actually checked and confirmed that my car needed them done before they did it. They provided a ride home, so I don't have to wait. One hiccup was right after the job was done, I drove away for 2 minutes and the engine light on the dashboard came on. I brought it back right away. They checked everything and reset the light. It's been over a month, the breaks feels great.

The entire staff of United auto sales are fantastic. ( including Bob and Ann) It’s very easy to get an appointment which fits your schedule and the work they do is excellent. It’s even easy to get your emissions done there. They stand by their service and you can’t beat the price a job well done. We were in the first leg of a trip from New Hampshire to Virginia when engine lights came on and the engine of our van began to labor. It was 3 o'clock on a rainy Friday, and we both feared the worst. We found United Auto on Google, and how fortunate that was! We were diagnosed, repaired, and on our way again in 45 minutes! I moved back to CT a while ago, and my mechanic had retired. My parents told me about United, where they bring their cars. I have learned over the past 5 years that the owner and his employees are outstanding in skill and customer service. They don't make up imaginary problems to make money off of. They're honest, and as a woman, that's a rare thing to come by in a garage. I trust them place to be fair, honest, and upstanding. They'll always get my business.

Absolutely, hands down, the best place I have ever taken my car to. I have been dealing with an extremely long ongoing issue with my ABS system that no one could seem to figure out. Dealership was a nightmare and many mechanics said different things. Bob and his team really took the time to pinpoint the issue and repaired my vehicle completely. They also did some detailing and my interior looks great! They even called my husband this morning to ask how my car is doing. (Perfect, by the way). Prices are incredibly reasonable, they are all honest, kind, and knowledgeable which is something you never find these days. United Auto is really a diamond in the rough. Great service. Dropped my car off in the morning and had forgot a couple of items I need checked out. They gave me no hassle when I added it on when they called with the info from the first request. The service a fleet of vans so always have tires and supplies on hand to service my Chrysler town and country, so no time was spent waiting for parts to be delivered. Great bunch of guys.

I am a 23 year old nurse, and have lived in Cheshire my whole life. I went to Monro in Cheshire to get an oil change. They told me that I needed CV shafts and a wheel alignment in the front ($1,349.16) and that I needed pads and rotors on my rear tires ($1,443.14). That is a total of $2,792.30 for a 2012 Honda Crv. What they did not realize is that this car has been maintained by United Auto on Congress Ave in Waterbury CT since I purchased it. I just tried to get an oil change without having to drive to Waterbury. I took their estimates, and went to United Auto on Congress Ave in Waterbury. My dad has been using them for 20 years. They took everything apart, inspected it, test drove it…and there is nothing wrong with my car! Monro wanted to replace my rotors and pads. United measured my rear pads at 6mm. For those of you were that were novices about this kind of thing, as I was this morning, brand new pads are 10 mm. So, my rear pads were at 60%. They wanted to replace them and my rotors. United charged us $0.00 even though they spent all this time disassembling and inspecting my car to tell me it was fine. We gave them a $100 gift card to get pizza for the team…and this five star review. Charlie and Joe may be gone, but the culture hasn’t changed. Honest people.

When I lost the water pump in my Toyota RAV4, this place made it such a seamless process from start to finish. I asked around and United Auto came highly recommended from a friend, her whole family has always gone there. Great experience! I'd say I got the car back pretty quick considering the amount of work required, it was an extensive job this time around! They replaced the water pump and all 6 plugs and coils packs. Ouch! But they made it as painless as possible. They were reasonably priced and extremely thorough. They even took care of my emissions test that I had completely forgotten about. I'm extremely happy with my whole experience! Bob and Katherine were such a big help. Highly recommend! Thanks Untied Auto! My instrument panel no longer looks like a lit up Christmas tree.
