All the employees were ignoring us and playing out in the parking lot. Especially a tall white kid who was laying on a dolley and rolling around the parking lot while he was supposed to be inspecting my car. Do not go here, very unprofessional

Went today to have my oil changed.. Robert and Darius messed up my skid plate. Didn’t offer to fix or try to help. Keep repeating it was already like that. I’ve had the car 3 months. They stripped the screw in it. So now skid plate in trunk. Oil pan not protected. Undercarriage not protected. I filed a clam. Let’s see how it plays out. Yes not major but can lead to something major. All because they screwed up.. If messed up from before I would have seen or heard the skid plate. They screwed up and not willing to fix it..

They left oil all over the side of my truck and the front. They spilled oil while filling and it leaked on my driveway when I got home. Staff was slow, ever greeted or said thank you. Do not go to this location.

If 0 was an option, that's what I would give. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation and left with over $2000 worth of damage to my vehicle. I brought my own oil filter since many places do not have the correct one. The manager lost the filter so I had to wait for them to find it or an acceptable replacement. After an hour for the oil change, they finally started on the tire rotation. They asked about the wheel locks for my car, which I told them were in the trunk or glove box. The technician proceeded to go through my car with oil covered hands, ruining a white coat in the process. The manager apologized and offered to wash my coat for me. Nothing was mentioned about replacing what was clearly ruined with motor oil. They continued on "rotating" my tires. After another hour I was told they needed to put my car back on the lift because there was a problem. They asked me repeatedly how to unset the parking brake, which I showed them was not set. It eventually came to light that they had put the wheels on wrong and the tire sensors had caused the car to not move. Rather than realize that continuing to try to move the vehicle was a bad idea, the staff decided to manually push my car. They eventually had to go next door to Auto Zone to get a manual jack and enlist the help of one the staff there to take all the tires back off and put them into their original positions. After a third hour had passed my car was able to move again, however I had now missed an important event for my child and deep gouges had been made into my wheel wells from forcing the wheels to turn. I brought my car to the dealership today to have it checked out, which is where the gouges were discovered, along with a plastic bag that was melted onto the muffler. The manager on duty last night instructed me to "run things by her" before agreeing to any repairs so that we could "meet in the middle". Stay away from this place.

Absolutely terrible experience. To begin with, they were very confused on how to work on my car. I asked for an oil change to be done and that was all. It took them much longer than it should have and when they asked me to start my car, oil exploded all over my entire engine and hood of my car. They did not even appologize. I am furious and now will have to get my engine professionally cleaned. This is unacceptable behavior from a place I was trusting to deal with my car. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! EVER!!! I will not be paying for this service I have never received worse customer service or care. If I could give them zero stars I would.

(Update 5/1/25) (3 Stars) following my experience with the support team, we were able to get everything resolved in a very quick and timely manner, I believe it took a total of five business days to get not only my car evaluated but also the refund for everything associated with the claim. Robert the store manager and Josh the district manager were very helpful in getting this resolved and I appreciate their time. Original Post 4/26/25----- (1star) I took my Subaru today to get an oil change, upon leaving the location my car lost power within half a mile, resulting in my car dying on the side of the road. I opened up my hood and noticed that the air filter box was wide open, leaving about 4 inch gap. This most likely starved my engine. I made a call to the store and the manager Robert came out to take a look. I am currently having the car towed to a Subaru dealership and following up with the claims process. I hope to have this matter, resolved appropriately and timely, my car has never had any issues, and needless to say after getting an oil change, I should be able to make it one light down the road without my car dying. It has not been an ideal experience, especially for a routine oil change

I always come to the high point location on n main street because everyone is so nice and welcoming and always keep me informed. The small details they do for me on each service really means a lot especially for a girl who is still learning how to upkeep her car, they never make me feel dumb or anything but always helping me learn what to do or what not to do. My Valvoline experience was with High Point - North Main Street in High Point, NC. This was for a NC State Inspection. I was told that my windshield wipers were bad and would need to be replaced as they were 'jumpy'. I knew my windshield wipers were in great condition as I had just used them the day before with it rained and this was a tactic to up sale. I had the lady that was doing my inspection to show me what she meant by 'jumpy' and all she could show me was that the wipers cleared the windshield fully of the water and just made lots of noise. I did let her know the windshield was clean no streaking and even showed how soft and intact the wiper blades were. If this was not the case, I would have agreed to get new wiper blades. She did let me know that I was not the person in charge of the inspection and within her class she took my blades failed. So, she passed me on all but the safety. I drove my car directly to another NC Inspection station, had to pay again to have it inspected, and it PASSED with flying colors. I am now in a dispute with the store on getting a refund for paying for the failed inspection since it was falsely reported. Regards - Stacy B

Went to this Valvoline location on Nov. 22 for an oil change and inspection. Passed inspection and they didn’t even fix a headlight that wasn’t working. It’s literally less than a week later and I started hearing a loud clicking sound as I am driving. I took my car to Precision Auto and they showed me my tire. I was shocked to say the least. I was told I was one pothole from possibly killing myself or someone else from a blow out!! They clearly DID NOT inspect my car. Sooo dangerous and upset. I won’t be returning!

Awesome experience! All the staff were incredible but I was specifically assisted by Shanti. One of the kindest people Ive ever met let alone great customer service! All our needs were met in a timely fashion and the employees were honest and didnt try to get over on us like other places. Another shout out to Shanti! Especially for that cabin air filter replacement 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ Highly recommend this location!!!!
