Quick update August 6th - Had a customer service follow up question and ended up connecting with Matthew, the store manager. He answered all of my questions, offered to resolve the concern and solidified my loyalty to this location. Top notch service is so hard to find! Highly recommend this spot. Giovanni was great. Catherine the manager at the Allston location was amazing! She took the time to explain what the different types of oil are and checking that I still had 90% oil life left, gave me a courtesy check and topped off my fluids and added air to my tires. I highly recommend and will come back when I'm ready to get my oil changed, thanks Catherine!

I went for an oil change and had the best experience! I wish I had looked or asked the man's name that helped me but I went October 19 around 9:30AM so hopefully that helps get him the credit he deserves. He walked me through the whole process and was very patient and kind despite me being a fool about things I should have known, like where the button was to open the hood. He also made sure I used the best coupon, switched out my air filter, and let me know the technician filled up my tires so my tire warning light should go away once I started driving. I stayed in my car and was in and out in 20 minutes thanks to the whole team's efforts. Super grateful for all their help and kindness!

They charged $139 for an oil change, but they flushed the old oil and did not change to the new oil. I started having severe knocking noise almost immediately and took it to a mechanic. The mechanic checked using a diagnostics tool and discovered there was no oil in the car. Also, the oil cap was not properly closed. They also stole multiple bolts under the engine cover. Please, avoid them if you can because they will scam you.

Highly recommend! I needed an oil change before I returned to my home in NJ. Arrived around 8 am, taken immediately and had the oil change done in around 20 minutes. Each part of the safety check explained, used online coupon. Overall, very positive experience.

The actual oil change was fine and went as expected. There were two things that were unsatisfactory for me. 1. When the technicians were going over the maintenance checks, they did not actually measure my tire pressure. I watched them just punch in 35 PSI without actually observing them go around to my tires with a pressure gauge 2. One of the technicians placed their dirty gloves on the interior of my car door and left what I can only assume is oil on the interior panel. When I asked them to clean it, they just grabbed a dirty rag tried to wipe it off, but ended up spreading it out over a larger area.

I'm going to start with my story and get on with the advice. $110 for an oil change, not cheap, but at least when you pay such a premium, the service you can expect is fast, and of good quality. For the oil change part, it was! However, the "technician" gives me a hard time about my air filter, which is fine, it is not the first time this has happened. I ignore that predatory old school sales tactic. I pay and get ready to leave. As I begin to drive away, something sounds off when I press on the pedal. I get to my destination and open the hood to find that during the period of time they took to try to sell me an air filter, they place it back misaligned, opening the intake to the hot air from the inside of the engine bay, making it very loud and potentially very dangerous to the engine. After a 20 minute wait on hold, and 3 phone calls internally, I had to come back and have the manager(?) fix it. I would be singing a different tune if anyone along the lines had been apologetic, or made me feel that this quality of work is not expected, or that they even take exception to it, but it everyone's tone suggests that this level of work is not only normal, but a part of their dance routine! I am disappointed, and people should expect ONLY the service that they ask for. And when a service is denied, for that to be respected. To prospective customers: You don't need ANOTHER headache in your life and these guys would surely find a way to do give you one. I would suggest seriously evaluating who does your oil and maintenance. To Valvoline: Hire people who pay attention to what they doing instead of whatever was going on inside bay 3 at your Allston location. You don't charge what you do and need a quality control cycle. That's an expectation.

Recently went and had my VW atlas Serviced ( Radiator flushed) this was not my first time going, the guys are amazing and David is awsome. But this time I got a female who left my coolant tank completely empty and cause air pockets in my engine. My service was done on the 26th, then I took it back on the 27th left thinking I was all set, nope lights still on PRESENTLY. was told to bring it in a 3rd time, but at this point the damage is done. I'm so disappointed and aggravated and to see her walking around my car the next day as if she did nothing wrong is Mind Blowing. My current situation.

Do not ever take your car in this store. I went to this place to get an oil change and tire rotation. The car had no problem at all so when I left the store the car starting making loud noises in the front so I returned to the store and Sebastian said my brakes was really bad. They tried to undo the tire rotation so As soon as I left the store again the noise was even worse. So I had to take my car to the mechanic to be repaired I could not work for the day. Sebastian and Omar shouldn’t be working there.

Had a great experience here. I was worried since it was my first time getting my car's oil changed outside of the dealership and saw some mixed reviews, but the people there were great. Super nice, straightforward, offered extra services but didn't push when I refused, and took extra care. The guys saw the latch to release the hood needed grease and made it better than when I got it from the dealership just for an extra $1 oil charge (it's been like this forever and the dealership has never done anything). When he was done changing the oil he showed me the dipstick. Again I was nervous I'd leave worse off, but I left super happy and they didn't treat me like I didn't know my car. Will be going back.

they were super quick about getting me in and getting me out. It was my first time at this location, even inside the state of Massachusetts. They also were able to clearly show me what things I still needed all my vehicle outside of my oil change and they gave me a printed out price sheet and explained it super thoroughly for me so I will be back to get all my work done, they’re amazing.
