I am very upset. I went in here to fix a fuel injector line that they claim someone cut. Well this is the second time they fixed it and I went to the dealership who said they fixed the line incorrectly and it was causing other damage to my vehicle. Not happy I feel I should have a refund since I had to pay 400 to Vazquez and 560 to the dealership. I tried to explain to the lady when I called they did it incorrectly. It's not ok to tape a fuel injector line even Lou bachrodt said that

I came here when my car broke down several miles away from home because they could get me in and was recommended by a near by shop. They diagnosed it as a bad starter and repaired it, but when I picked up my car it wouldn’t start and needed a jump which was odd to me. I was told this was “normal due to the weather and it needed time to recharge while driving” by the receptionist as there was a language barrier with the technician. After I got home my car was parked in a garage for a few days. On Monday my car wouldn’t start again after sitting in the cold for several hours. I was told I’d needed to bring it back to that shop and would mean I would have to tow it over 60 miles back to them or my warranty would be voided. A local shop to me later found the real issue was a corroded battery sensor and a dying battery, something that should have been caught the first time a week ago or least recommended to repair as that damage didn’t just suddenly appear after a day or 2. This resulted in double repairs, extra towing risk, and rental costs ending in a very frustrating experience.

Receptionist is extremely rude, does not explain what the problem is or reason for recommended work or pricing. Combative responses to questions. Refuses to let you speak to a manager and claims she does not know when he is normally there to come back to speak with them. All around disrespectful and very unprofessional. Would never go back to this shop unless they were required to fix something under warranty which they’ve had to replace the same part three times within the year under warranty. Not without giving gripe and grief in addition to attempted up charges and padding estimates after realizing the work would be fixed at cost to them under warranty. Do not recommend this shop to anyone and hope the front desk girls learn some respect and customer service before destroying this business’ entire reputation which I now see from other reviews is the chief complaint at this shop.

I called to confirm that they do welding. I needed the exhaust pipe welded at the cat. When I got there they said they needed to replace everything rear of the cat. Basically, exactly what the first exhaust shop wanted to do. They replaced the pipe and called me to tell me I needed a new muffler. Funny thing is... My muffler was fine when I took it in. I declined, payed for the repair and drove home... zero issues with my muffler. Would not recommend.

Do not go to Velasquez Muffler shop. The receptionist are very rude, arguementive & refuses to give a receipt for services completed w/ the same issues & same parts that are defective. I had a part that was unrepairable & she didn't want to get the manager like another costumer stated in his review. I recorded the incident so I have proof to send to the Attorney General to get my refund they denied me of. I called the receptionist out for lying about the manager Alex not being available. She was furious & threatened to called the cops & told him nothing but lies about me. When I mentioned that I'm recording her lying she the proceeded to call the cops. I called the cops myself to give them my side of the story & they agreed that what they did was shady business practices & that I was in the right to record the proof of their behavior & retaliation. I recorded the incident as proof for my small claims case because the shady business practices are unacceptable. They will see me in small claims court because I have proof rhat what they are doing is illegal by law. The cops agreed w/ me 100% & even commended me for recording the proof I need to prove that this business is corrupt.
