Went a few months ago for a transmission fluid change. Far more reasonably priced than the dealerships in the area.

I ended up not being serviced by the "gentleman" at this shop because of his bad attitude. Whatever you do, please do not go there unless you want to be treated poorly.

I took my volkswaggon passat for a new serpentine belt, they changed it quickly, and provided exceptional service. The price the quoted me was the price I paid, not a penny more.

I took my car in because it was overheating every once in a while. They replaced a bunch of stuff that they said I "had to have" and charged me an exorbitant fee. After I left, it began to overheat everyday. I took it back and they replaced what they thought was the problem. $2200 later, it overheated 10 minutes after I left the parking lot. When I went back, they made me feel like I was an idiot. (Maybe because I am a female?) Long story short, after having them "fix" it, I went for a year adding water to it everyday. EVERYDAY. Then I went on YouTube and taught myself how to fix a cracked head gasket. It now runs like a champ. NO thanks to Visalia German Automotive.

They do fix most problems. They might ruin other stuff. Car was taken for other issue. It had a leak the oil sensor worked for I put oil just before taking it. After got it back. The car heated and it was that it had no oil. But nothing telling me so. They said they didnt ruin the oil sensor. It costed me 2000 to fix what ruin after it heated. I put little oil every once in a while. But after taken it for other issue ( fixed) I had to almost do an overhall but no that it needed it but they provoked it. I had to take it again for other issue and pointed the sensor is new don't ruin it as before. And once again it is not measuring oil level after taking it to them. I think they sabotage you as to get more work. For they tend to take every visit to around 1000.

I was turned down by a couple of shops for a transmission service, yes the car has a special transmission (VW, DSG tranny) but I assumed it wouldnt be a big deal. Boy was I wrong. Going to German Automotive slightly discouraged from other shops was such an eye opener. Santiago and his guys know these cars, and also know their business. They finished the car sooner than expected and I'm back on the road with the confidence of having a new car. I hope to keep this car on the road for a long time and I will continue going to Visalia German Automotive for my services and everything my car may need. Highly recommend

Be wary of how full their lot is. Always calling about a status for my vehicle and they don't provide a direct answer. Always trying to save their rears by saying, "We'll have it ready tomorrow" and nothing. They are unprofessional and don't care about your vehicles. Will be reported.
