Brought the car in for a recall. Happen to have a rear tail light out. Also asked for tge $39 diagnostic while it was there. Was told on the phone when I made the appointment that I would not be charged for the diagnostic unless they had to "open" something up. Well when I got called when my car was ready. I had a $103 bill. Thats after declining an $149 other diagnostic. Needless to say I was not happy at all. I wasn't told upbfront how much I stalling a tail light woukd cost but I didn't expect $50 bucks.

Excellent service. Everyone in the service department was very nice and polite and explained the procedures. On the phone while making the appointment the estimate that I was given and underestimated. I was expecting $200-$250 and total was $379. That would be my only complaint.

Window Regulator stopped working on my vehicle. Took the vehicle in on the 28th of May and had it checked out, was told that part had to be ordered and should be in on Wednesday of the following week and told them to schedule appointment for Saturday the 4th of June. Was told that they would call as soon as part come in and schedule a time for the 4th of June. Almost a week went by and never heard from volkswagon of murfreesboro. Wife called to see if the part came in and it had come, but was told that service turned down and that's why they never called, when the fact is that the service was not turned down, but lack of communication on the service dept. and scheduling dept. resulted in me having to having to wait another week to get my window repaired. Went to the appointment on the 11th of June dropped vehicle off at 9:00am and did get vehicle back until 4:00pm that afternoon. Tried calling around 15 or 17 times to check on the status of the vehicle and could not get through due to busy signal. Finally after the 20th call got someone. Was told technician broke a clip to the regulator and that he was waiting for a thumbs up when it was ready took about 45 minutes to an hour before we heard from them. Bottom line the service was poor, they got grease on the seats and door panel and did not remove all the tape adhesive from the window seal.

I recently replaced the flywheel in my 06 VW jetta tdi. I lost a little bit of transfluid and wanted to ensure the right amount was put back in. The vw dsg transmission requires a special fill plug, process, and a certain scanner to properly change fluid. I needed the service asap and didn't have time to order what i needed to complete the job on my own so i took it to them to ensure it was done right. Everyone i spoke to was polite and respectful. I did have to wait a little while before they could begin the job but that was to be expected since it was a 30 minute drive for me and the transmission can only be serviced within a certain temperature range. I left the shop having no problems with my VW other than a bad belt tensioner which they informed me of. I plan to buy that part and change it myself soon. The price was a little high for a transmission fluid and filter change, but given the special requirements of the dsg it was well worth it. Overall I am very pleased with my experience at VW of murfreesboro and would recommend them to anyone seeking professional service.

We purchased our Cert. Pre-owned vehicle here. The car is still under warranty. When we began having problems with the alternator (lost power steering etc) the same day the check engine light came on, they could not get us in for a diagnostic appointment for 2.5 weeks! We were refused a rental car or a loaner car. The first gentleman said the company would not reimburse us for any costs if we went elsewhere for repair or diagnostics. When I asked to speak with a manager, he related that this information came from his manager. I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes after asking to speak with a manager and could not get through after multiple attempts. I was able to get through to the manager's assistant, Lisa, who was kind and provided me with customer care's number. Overall, super disappointed.

Great place, just dropped off my car and they fixed it same day. I was a little tough to deal with but they never got stern and always sounded like they had a smile. And by the end of it the car works great and they even put my tune back to where it was when they flashed the car to see if that was the problem. All in all great team .
