Wasn’t going to leave a bad review , but after trying to communicate with them and work things out and they said they don’t care about what I had to say , had a truck “tuned” by them and a few days later had a check engine light came on (P0300) and the idle was off truck has a Texas speed chopacabra cam , and the truck was just not chopping as it should be . After them not tuning out the P0300 and them saying it was because the truck had a misfire , which technically yes because of the bigger duration due to the bigger cam and is normal and has to be tuned out . Took it back and asked them to retune the truck because it didn’t feel right they said no and they didn’t offer any warranty on their “tunes” . Took the truck to another tuner and he found that the truck was running way to rich at idle and he had to adjust the torque tables and adjust the timing at idle . He had to revise and adjust the tune in many different areas and a lot of the values were just zeroed out instead of being adjusted . 550$ for a “custom street tune” and when they flashed the “revised” tune in the truck they didn’t bother driving the truck afterwards . Save the time and money.

Took my 06 Silverado 1500 to them and got nothing but honest professional help at a very affordable price. They helped pick out the perfect full exhaust system for my truck starting at the headers all the way to the muffler. Everyone I worked with was very professional. They told me they would get my truck done by the end of the day and they did just that and even went over and beyond to help fix other issues I was having with the truck! The truck runs and sounds 100x better. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone I know. Thank you guys and I will be back again!

I’ve had quite a bit work done from this place and I would recommend this place to EVERYONE. Carlos is awesome and completely professional. Like to the point where he goes out of his way to satisfy his costumers. I got long tube headers, cam, stall, and a tune on my truck along with some other things and even “after the fact” he makes sure everything is right with your vehicle. I won’t take my truck anywhere else and I consider Carlos as a friend now with what he has done for me! TOP NOTCH WORK! 👍🏻

No way any review under 5 stars on them is acceptable. They did a Cam Kit and Tune on my 5.3 and nailed it with everything they did. Super easy to talk to and let me bring my own parts no questions asked. Had my truck towed here from Fort Worth and it was worth every penny to have it done here and not in DFW. Dont go here my truck has. A really bad misfire they have no warranty running really rich smell like fuel not even burning properly did their chopocabra cam with tune and lifters and truck running like shit not even worth going and telling them cause they dont stand by their work u ever need a tune go to ft worth chalos performance told me they did do crap of the tune dont spend your money here right the kid in the counter says no warranty

I run my own mobile mechanic business in Shreveport, so I’m super picky who touches my vehicles, but I could not recommend anyone better to go inside your motor than these guys. Everyone was so friendly and honestly for doing a cam job, headers and exhaust on my Challenger 5.7, they were pretty quick. Then they even double checked everything before I got back on the road with it and gave me a separate tune on my request. 10/10 highly recommend

So I went to Waco mufflers and performance to get a carver muffler a d resonator deletes on my 2020 Ram 1500. I was sitting in the waiting area when I heard a loud rumble. I said, “That can’t be my truck”! So I looked out the front door and seen them pulling my truck out. Yo!!! That sucker sounded so good and the welds were spot on. I don’t know the gentleman’s name who worked on my vehicle but I shook his hand, he did an amazing job. Also, jarred was very friendly and quoted me very generously. He was very personable and a joy to speak with. I would recommend them to anybody who’s wanting performance work on their vehicle. Price is very good especially for the top notch work, thank yall!!!

I recently had a whole bunch of performance work done to my truck and I decided after alot of thought and reading reviews and reviewing shops in DFW to bring it to Waco Mufflers & Performance. I have a Gen 5 LT based 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3L L83 V8 engine and the truck is a 4x4. The truck is a 1 owner and has a little over 200,000 miles on it and is in extremely good condition. The overall goal was to have a full DOD/AFM delete done and bullet proof the entire truck so the list of parts that I brought to be installed was very extensive. I purchased a stage 2 power kit from Texas Speed and that included longtube headers, high flow cated Y pipe, S&B cold air intake, dod delete kit that came with just about everything that you would need to do this job (lifters, gaskets, springs, spark plugs and wires). I also purchased an oil pump and full new timing kit. Some other things I purchased was a billit valley cover and a triple disk torque converter from Circle D. I wanted to do a full custom true dual exhaust and finish it up with a custom. The Truck is done now and is an absolute monster and the quality of work that was done done is so far so good. The tuning was also something i was concerned about but the truck runs better now and shifts better than it did before. If you are looking for a shop to do exhaust or engine work I would highly recommend reaching out the guys at Waco Mufflers & Performance. They are great.
