Extremely rude and intentionally unhelpful. Made it a chore to get answers to basic questions (what time are they open till/typical cost for services/etc). Had to call twice because I was hung up on the first time halfway through the conversation. Will not be using them for any of my automotive needs in the future. Avoid if at all possible.

Terrible service, went there for an alternator and went to pick up my van with no power steering and oil everywhere which then they claimed I brought it in that way.then preceded to yell at me about it as if I was trying to get one over them. Only reason went there is because battery wholesale recommended them because me alternator was going bad.if something else was wrong could have just told me.... instead accuse me of be a liar . Never been so disappointed

This place also goes by the name Rebuilt Starters and Alternators. No working phone number and my experience explains why. The mechanic on staff made racist comments regarding Black people and Jews. Told us the alternator would be ready at 330p, went to pick it up at 4p...said come back at closing 6p, he's driving off as we're driving up, waving goodbye???another employee approaches us to advise he will be back at 8p... he then calls at 750p to say I have to take a shower it'll be ready at 830p. We get there at 830p he's as dirty if not dirtier than before he left; we tell him he should take some money off for the inconvenience and he starts this racist rant about how he hates Black people and Blacks never want to pay .....Very unprofessional, rude, and racist.

Don't bother. Took my $50 promising that a simple pulley swap would fix the problem (10/10 times, he said!). It did not fix the alternator. The alternator was BROKEN and he claimed it worked like a champ and accused me of lying, saying that I must have drove it for a week because it took me a week to get it back in my car and tested. Maybe good if you own an old GM vehicle, but he is just looking to money grab. CASH only business too, no refunds!

Been going here for years. I take all of my starters & alternators here. From my cars & boats. The price of new marine parts are wild, but he rebuilds them cheap. I refuse to pay for new parts when he can rebuild the originals for a fraction of the cost. And fast. $50-$60 and 1 day turnaround - sometimes in just a few hours!

Bad news... in the past had good luck recently I feel like a jerk recommending him two alternators ago I had to take out 4 times with him swearing it was right and basically calling me dumb come to find out he didn't rebuild it and gave me a piece of junk on the 4th day I finally get the right one with no apologies for lost time. Last time another friend gets burned missed work because alternator that supposedly was fixed gets red hot and doesn't change. No refunds and my friend had to buy a new 1 looses $100 to Wallie because he didn't have the time to wait the weekend as he had to work. The worst part is I ask Wallie to please have it correct the 1st time as I had the run around previously. Then basically insults me again and said 1 out of 15,000 was wrong 4 times in a row. Then this one was too, I will never recommend him again expecialy if you need a sure thing quickly.

Wally's is the only place I will take my starters and alternators. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and about half the price of buying a new remanufactured unit. First and foremost, I'd like to start by saying a starter is something that I have always changed myself since I was a teenager, until recently. The Ford Motor Company on the Ford 150 truck decided to use 3 bolts instead of the traditional two. The third boat is placed up high, out of sight, and out of reach. I tried to remove this bolt for three days in low 40° temperatures without any luck. Finally, I had my truck towed to Walley's he had my started removed, rebuilt, and replaced within hours. He called me in the early afternoon to tell me my truck was ready. I'd do business with Wally again in a heartbeat.

The owner literally saved me from a complete breakdown. I was having a rough day, I went to make a turn and my axle and ball joint snapped. A guy stopped to help me and gave me his last business card for this shop. I am truly blessed to have come here. The man that owns the shop was so helpful. He was able to get me in quick and have it down the same night. I will definitely be back.
