It's first come first serve. Came in for a oil change checked car in. Waited about 45 minutes while shopping. Came back amd car would have still been another hour and a half or more. They didn't have enough workers. And took on more than could handle. Willing to try out again for and oil change just not when they are super busy....

Took 4 hours to mount an balance 4 tires most places can do this in 30 minutes. Had to deal with 3 different people at the front desk an none of them knew anything because the original person I talked to didn't tell anyone an he left.

At other Walmarts, I've always been able to get my tires refilled. I asked for the same service at this Walmart and an employee that works in the auto center, an older gentleman with a beard told me that they do not refill tires and that it is first come first serve and that there would be a two-hour wait for any service. The auto center only had one car in the shop so I couldn't imagine how there could be a two-hour wait.

The phone line just rings infinitely without anyone picking it up. Then you go in to the store to speak with an associate and apparently open til 7pm means they can't change a tire stem at 6pm.

Had 4 new tires put on and noticed my brakes didn't work right after. Asked to talk to the person who worked on it if he noticed anything and he wouldn't talk to me after waiting for him to get done with the next vehicle. Took it to the nearest auto repair and found out my brake line was severed. I'm not sure how my brake line was altered in any way considering it was just a tire change but it wasn't damaged before they handled my car. At the very least they could have told me my brakes weren't working when they pulled it out of the shop but I was told nothing.

They broke my tire sensor while doing a tire change. Mechanics denying they broke anything. Managers claiming they don’t remember me from two days prior. A simple tire change turned out to be a week long ordeal. No apologies. No “thank you’s”. Employees were bickering about management in front of multiple customers. Nothing but a bunch of classless employees. Never returning to Walmart for anything ever again.

I came in for a flat tire. I walked in around between 10;30 and 10:40 and there was just one vehicle ahead of me. I spent first 25 minutes waiting for front desk person to pick my keys. No one showed up despite pressing the payment keypad for help. I have to call their manager line for help. After 10 minutes of her making shout for assistance on their announcement system . 1 hour 10 minutes later they still didn't work on my car. They are simply working on all oil changes while keeping my car aside which requires flat tire fix. Now they tell me to wait for two more hours. So I probably end up staying in Walmart for 3 hours while my kids at home probably waiting for extra hour and half as I am supposed to carry out food for them. Thanks Walmart auto for ruining my Sunday.

I waited over 2 hours for a simple oil change! I dropped off my car for the standard oil change and decided to do some shopping. After about 45 minutes I came back to the auto center to check the status of my car. The manager said that all of the mechanics had left for break. I don’t understand how they could book people for oil changes when the entire garage staff had left. Shouldn’t one go on break at a time so that customers aren’t waiting all afternoon for their vehicles!? I waited another hour for them to actually get my car in the shop and change the oil. It is now 1pm and I am still waiting on my car. Horrible service and they should have warned their customers about the employees being on break and not getting to their cars right away... I WILL NOT be returning to the Walmart auto center after having to wait for over 2 hours for a simple oil change! Absurd

UPDATED: I was contacted by the manager (who was not working they day I got my oil change). He offered me an apology and compensation to make up for my bad experience. I appreciate being contacted and will give them another chance. It took forever to get my oil change done, and I was the first person there. Other than me, there was literally only one other person there. We both had to wait a really long time. I was waiting in the waiting room, so I saw when my truck got done, but they didn't notify me in any way. I went to pay and get my key, which took another few minutes of waiting. There were about 4-5 people waiting. One of the service technicians came and said through the window, "Are they gonna come move their car or what??" The cashier said, "I'M gonna come move their car, or what!" They service technician was incredibly ride, and in front of a lot of customers. The wait was long. And in addition, my receipt says they didn't vacuum my vehicle because it was "declined," but they never even asked my if I wanted my truck vacuumed! I would have! This whole experience was unprofessional, unpleasant, and frustrating! You're honestly better off going anywhere else!

The manager Rick is a superstar, he is an example of "one doesn't need to be rude to be serious", you can be caring, polite and serious at the same time. He also deserves credit for making some changes to the crew, as I saw newer people who are very good like the new front desk lady or a gentleman that I saw for the first time who did work on my car and was very nice, but the next day, I saw few others who continue to not have the right attitude for customer service.

Employees, specifically mechanics, are hostile and rude, & yell at customers who are polite, quiet and minding their own business for “going in the wrong gate”. No signs directing customers either. Would rate a 0, but then again its a Walmart in central IL so obviously can’t expect much. Go to any other auto place in town for courteous, non-concerning and normal employee interactions.

The absolute worst experience! The rudest people and then the service I usually get went up exponentially, and I wasn't notified until they had already completed it and I was about to pay. When I (NICELY) asked if it was the correct price, the guy snapped at me and proceeded to belittle me as if I was an idiot for not knowing the price had changed since just a month before. Yeah, will NEVER come here again.

The place was literally deserted with atleast 3 technicians just walking around. Yet the tech Jeff says they are only taking appointments today. While I understand the possibility of shortage of staff, the way he responded was condescending ,not acceptable and uncalled for. This may not have any bearing but I am taking by business elsewhere.

had an appointment for 7am, get there, no one is there, doors are locked. who I assume is the manager comes over and is unprofessional and unhelpful, tells me no technicians are there so I have to wait another hour to get serviced, no apology or anything, just wait or leave. would’ve been nice to at least get a phone call saying i could come in later, or even an apology for the delay or something… but for some reason i have to be inconvenienced without any regard for my own schedule.
