They said they would need to wait 2-3 hours to just replace the tire

Went there to have new tires put. Employee kindly asked if I wanted oil change as well. I respectfully said no. Then after thinking about it I said yes. Was there for I would say 8 hours just for the two things. Bottom line is the positive definitely outweighed the negative at the end of the day. They did a GREAT job on my Vehical. Thank you!

Dropped car off for tires to be put on. They stripped a lug nut (they are 3 months old) then called to say they can’t do it. Failed to mention which lug was stripped. I had to go get my car and tires and take it to someone who actually knows what they are doing

I had such a great experience here! I got my tires at a very reasonable price, and it was a quick installation, at a good price with incredibly friendly service! Just to mention, the customer check-in is in the store, and the parking lot doors by the garage doors are locked 12pm to 1pm for lunch. I figured I'd highlight that to save others the confusion I had...

I’ve tried to get an oil change here on 2 separate occasions. The first time was at 10am on a weekday, and they couldn’t do it because “the only guy that does oil changes called in sick.” Tried again today, 5pm on Monday. Called the store, pressed 2 for automotive. 30 rings, no answer. Go online, check the hours on their website, says they’re open until 7pm. Call again, 30 more rings, no answer. Pull up to the garage, all 3 overhead doors are open, all lights are on, parked in the oil change line and waited for 10 minutes. As I was leaving I saw a guy in the garage who couldn’t even bother to walk over to my car. Thanks for the great service.

Clown show. They entirely forgot to balance my tires, destroyed a number of my lug nuts, mounted one tire backwards, and sent me away missing 2 of my 4 valve stem caps. I ended up at another tire service station the next day to fix everything. AVOID!!

Problems at every step of the process. Had appointment - Appointment was canceled. Nobody knows why. Got car an appointment 30 minutes later - waited an hour and a half before car was brought in. 15 minutes later, told one wheel stud broke off. It happens. 15 minutes after that told another broke off. (I had removed the other side a week prior, it was tight, but without using too much torque, going slow, working it in and out, and pausing to cool, they all came off fine). Now told car is unsafe, must be towed (They paid) I'm stuck with finding a ride because they had no timeframe on when it would be towed) They don't cover the repair. Tires still not done - I was told they would be putting them in the car. I confirmed this before leaving. The tires were not in the car when it got dropped off. (Tires I paid for, and they marked as picked up). Car is now making a noise when braking. Could be walmart, could be the tow operator. Who knows? Do as you wish, but I suggest going somewhere that can either avoid problems when possible, or fix them if they happen. The few dollars I might have saved are now costing me at least 6 hours of my time, and possibly a couple hundred extra dollars in repairs.

Got an oil change and the Tech didn’t reattach my skip plate correctly. One bump on 787 on my way home and the whole thing was dragging. Mangled it up and destroyed it. When I called the tech I spoke with was rude and unhelpful and hung up the phone on me. The manager offered a discount on my next oil change…. I’ll take my business elsewhere going forward.

Incredibly slow service. Plan on spending 3-6 hours at Walmart to get any automotive service completed. Forget about getting an associate to open up the glass cabinet if you want something you want that is locked up. They simply ignore you.

Customer service sucks, I bought tires online for a ram 2500, added the installation for my local store. Ichecked in for the installation at 1.45, appointment was for 2pm, then get a call at 3.30 that they can't install tires on my truck as it is too big. Surely the computer system could have figured this out when I ordered them online? Or when I brought in the truck? No I get a call a half hour before they close. Clearly nobody cares.

Save your money and have somebody work on your car who actually knows what they’re doing. As another person mentioned from a very recent experience, Walmart also stripped the lugs on my husband’s front tires on 10/31/24 because they couldn’t get them off. After 2.5 hours and going up to ask himself if his car was ready, they finally told him that they could only do two out of four tires because they could not get the front ones off. Pathetic because my husband got them off the next morning with minimal effort only to realize at that point that they stripped his lugs without the decency to even tell him the day before. Also that next day, one of the back tires that they replaced was going flat. My husband went back and had some choice words, however his reaction to their utter incompetence and worse so, the lack of accountability, wasn’t unjust. Then when he went back, the auto shop manager told him to prove that it was they who had stripped the lugs which I find comical considering everything else they had messed up. Way to take accountability for your shop’s negligence. Having the tire that was brand new and losing air “fixed” the next day did not prove to be any better of an experience. While they were fixing the tire, they then broke a $90 valve stem and the automotive manager made it seem like this just happens. Oddly, in all the years that I’ve had tires done on my cars that has never happened so it certainly isn’t the rule. That was bad enough, but then they weren’t able to get it out so my husband had to tell them to put his tire back on his car and go actually fix it himself. He heard other customers with unacceptable complaints in his wasted four hours at this Walmart. Our situation wasn’t just an infrequent slip up, it’s clearly a pattern. These people are incompetent, combative and really should seek other jobs. We have taken our cars there to have tires replaced for years and years and we will never go there again. Unless you want to experience this yourself, take your car elsewhere.

Just drove 45mins out of the way on my road trip to get a bad balanced tire fixed. Made it at 5:55. Online and outside the door states they close at 7. Technician just closed the doors on me.

1st time I ordered tires, one was lost. They had no idea what to do. Eventually they made my buy a tired and take up the refund with Walmart customer service. This took months to resolve. I've tried calling at least 100 times to set up an appointment for the tire warranty service I paid for. Only one time the phone was answered. The person bitched at me and said if no one is answering obviously we are busy and hung up. I contacted customer service and they did not care about the rude service I received. They told me to call a number to make an appointment. It was the same number I had been calling. Unfortunately I decided to try this a second time since there was two years difference and it's cheaper. This time there was a delay in delivering. Instead of rescheduling, my order was cancelled. I contacted customer service and they told me to order again and "they would make sure the order was delivered" I'm taking my service to BJ'S. They have a sale going on and it works out to be the same price. The items are in stock and I can get in tomorrow. So much easier and less stress. I will never use the auto center again.

had a terrible experience getting an oil change at Walmart. After the service, I noticed oil leaking from my car. When I brought it to their attention, they claimed the damage was already there — which was absolutely not true. Their mistake caused additional damage and wasted my entire day trying to get it fixed. Very disappointed with their lack of responsibility and poor service. I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

Called 5 times with no answer. Called the pharmacy to get someone to help and still no one answered. This isn’t even the first time this exact scenario had played out. I was trying to get help because another one of their auto care centers failed to help me with a problem with an order that they caused. Super super upset. I’m genuinely paying double what I was prepared to pay because of mistakes made by Walmart and I got no assistance or reparation for it. If I could give no stars I would.

Had our oil changed at this Walmart, requesting the best oil and oil change for our vehicle, as we just purchased it from a dealer and want it maintained to its fullest. Following the oil change the car made weird noises, and we noticed the oil light started to come on then go right off. I was able to get it into the garage where we get the car maintained to have it looked at. Well, it turns out when Walmart did the oil change they damaged the filter when they put it on, causing the oil to leak every time the car was turned on and running, leaving no oil at all, not to mention didn’t put the cover that over the oil pan correctly. Was not given the oil change that was requested…best oil change for the vehicle, didn’t care about the price at all I informed them. Instead, given a oil change in which caused my vehicle to go from zero issues, to leaking oil, making sounds, ultimately driving with no oil to having to spend the day at the garage and get a whole new oil change because it wasn’t done right by Walmart Auto Care Centers. Contacted customer service and was told I would hear back within 3 days, and they filed a claim. It’s been a week, and nothing.
