Will definitely call corporate for such unprofessionalism! Stay away! Worst customer service! Had a flat tire and was not even given the chance to talk. The store close at 7 pm, we get there at 4:30 pm and we were told they don' t take any more customer and we were ask to leave by one of the lady working there. We went around the corner made a call and were told they stop taking costumer at 5:00 pm and it' s was 4 :43pm. I've had some bad customer service experiences before but this one is the worst!

walmart refuses service to anyone that doesn't have stock tires on. Went in to get 2 tires and they would not do the service because tires I wanted didn't match the sticker in the door panel what a joke.

Went in to purchase car battery, they tell me i need 3 new tires when i had bought 2 new ones and passed my vehicle inspection recently. These people are crooks and pry on women. One of the workers tried to get me to sign a paper stating what they claim they found wrong with my tires. I refused to sign. Stay away from this place.

They keep on rejecting business because they dont wanna do any work and the excuse they would use is “ we only have two technicians for the whole day”. I got there around 8:30am and was second in the line and all I wanted was to get my tires replaced. Ended up buying tires at Walmart and going somewhere else to get them installed.

Completely incompetent. Says opens at 7. 6 people waiting there at 735 and no one around. Employee even looks over at us and proceeds to continue whatever she was doing without asking if we needed any help. Cars lined up outside needing work done and no one around. Complete and utter waste of time. One employee said they open at 7, another said 8. Either way, should have had an employee there checking people in. I wouldnt trust these people to even install a wiper blade, much less the 4 brand new tires I was going to purchase today.

Went in this morning for an oil change, tire rotation, and fuel injection service. Received a call back about 90 minutes later and was told that the tech, Eric, couldn’t get the oil filter off so therefore couldn’t change my oil. Was provided with a list of other businesses that would do the oil change. However, when I asked if they couldn’t do it at Walmart, why would the other companies be able to do it, was told ,”I don’t know Mam”. I was informed that my oil level was low and told I would have to put in more oil myself as they would not do that either but they would call me when the remainder of the work was done. Very shortly thereafter, I received a call from technician Eric who stated he didn’t realize I had already been called about the issue. I called back 5 hours later to inquire when my car would be done and was told that Eric reported that I had declined the other services. I explained that was not true whatsoever. My whole day was wasted and I will be contacting the manager and corporate. I can’t get my day back and I still have to take my car elsewhere. But now I know I will never use them again for anything which is very disappointing as I have always received professional and courteous service from other Walmarts in the past.

Manager was rude and standoffish about getting an oil change. Nobody was in line cause I talked to a technician but the guy told me a few hours. If he wanted a light day for his guys could've just said that

Huge thanks to the guys at the Grassfield Walmart Auto Care Center. We had just set out on RV trip and we experienced a valve stem malfunction on one of the inner-dully tires. We were near the Walmart and figured we would stop and ask them for help. Unfortunately that particular Walmart could not service RV’s. However, to our surprise, Andrew, Josh, and Phil offered to help anyways. They identified and fixed the problem on the spot. It was an amazing experience and good to know there are still people out they’re willing to help a weary traveler. Awesome work guys!!! I cannot thank you enough. You all deserve raises for your great customer service, professionalism, and kindness.

Needed to get an oil change, came in 2 hours before they closed and they told me I had to make an appointment for another day because they had already sent everyone home. I made an appointment and came back another day. None of the technicians knew how to drive stick; they had to find another employee to drive it in. I'm glad they did otherwise they would have had to turn me away.

The auto care associates at Grassfield answered the phone which was appreciated compared to First Colonial and Nimmo Parkway which never did. They got my tires mounted quickly and were very polite. Thank you!

I went here to get my tires changed. Here is the story: So I call the day before and ask if I needed an appointment for my tires and was told I did not and confirmed their operating hours. I get there at 706AM, yes AM! I am approached by a young lady that tells me that it’s going to be a hour for my car and I said that’s fine. As we walk inside I see what I believe is a Manager and another employee maybe having a meeting. As soon as we walk in the alleged Manager says out loud.. no no we have appointments this morning so if they don’t have an airman then we can’t take them. Neither one of them looked at me and the young lady turns to me and says I’m sorry we can’t take you if you don’t have an appointment because we are short staffed. I can’t deal with the non existence customer service, I will not be back

I've had my oil changed here out of habit and it's always been fine. Today I went to see if I could get new tires. The employee I spoke with moved at a very leisurely pace (to put it nicely. I'm a patient person.). The thing that really got me is that the employee checked the computer and talked with a co-worker and ANOTHER customer about MY car. I was standing off to the side because the other customer was at the counter when I came in. I couldn't hear everything they were saying and didn't want to interrupt if it was about his vehicle. I did hear the co-worker tell the employee there were just one or two people working today. The employee and I went back outside and I was told they can't replace it because "They (the co-worker and CUSTOMER who were inside the whole time) said the rim is bent.". I asked where the rim was bent and was told "Well, I can't see what they were talking about but we don't have the right tires anyway.". I took my business to a nearby tire place. They also didn't have the tires in stock but ordered them in and set up an appointment with me tomorrow so I don't have to wait any longer than necessary. The customer service there was a complete 180 from what I got at Walmart.

Quick and easy to deal with.. had new tires installed and out the door on a busy day week before the holidays. They normally have some of the best prices for new tires.. but they do not offer military discount 🤔🤔

I recently had the pleasure of working with Philip Scharff, the team lead at the Grassfield Walmart Automotive Department, and I cannot praise him enough for his outstanding customer service. After a frustrating week of trying to process a return for an online tire purchase—navigating through online chats and speaking with various store employees—I finally connected with Philip. In just one interaction, he handled my situation with remarkable efficiency and genuine care. Even though their system was down at that moment, he assured me he would follow up. True to his word, eight hours later, he called to let me know my return was successfully processed. This level of dedication and follow-through is a breath of fresh air in today’s retail landscape. Philip exemplifies what customer service should be—attentive, proactive, and genuinely invested in helping customers. Walmart is incredibly fortunate to have him on their team, and I urge everyone to recognize and appreciate his hard work. He truly is a gem, and I hope he receives all the praise he deserves! Thank you, Philip, for turning a frustrating experience into a positive one!

Stopped here after we were having issues with our car. We weren't sure if it was the alternator or the battery, and we asked the supervisor of the auto center to test it for us. He only tested the battery, and said he couldn't test the alternator unless we bought a new battery from them. After buying the new battery, we had to remind him several times that we also wanted our alternator tested, as he was trying to rush us out the door. He eventually did test the alternator, told us it was bad (so we didn't need a new battery, and would have known that before purchasing one had he not delayed testing the alternator), and had no further advice for us besides "get it fixed sooner rather than later". Had we not reminded him to check the alternator, we would have been stranded on the road in an hour or two. Poor customer care, and it was clear he had very little knowledge of cars in general.

Normally I would say there service is great and everyone is nice. But my last few experiences have been not so great. I was sold bad tires. And the last time I got an "oil change", I don't think it was done. They open at 7am but know gets to work until after 8am. Walmart was budget friendly but you get what you don't pay for.

Very good price for quality tires on my daughters 2020 Toyota Corolla. She was in and out in one and half hours which is fair. Good professional install.

My husband was JUST there for a quick tire fix. They told him it would be an hour and a half. He waits and walks around to kill time. He goes back and they say ANOTHER hour and a half to 2 hours. Complete waste of time and we wish they would have just been upfront about how long it would take so we could’ve gone somewhere else. Very frustrating and annoying, go somewhere else for quick fixes or atleast somewhere that will be honest about a time frame.

I ordered tires from online for an Impala 2013. WalMart sent me the wrong 2 tires. When I ordered the correct tires I went and had them put on with still the problem of returning the tires. The customer service rep told me to take them to my local WalMart store. Well I did and Racheal at the Ahoskie,NC WalMart let me know real quick that the imformation that I was given was not correct that location does not sale tires and would't take the return. She was slightly rude and had an attitude. (Her delivery in the way she was trying to explain it to me) (I explained that I was simply following customer services directions in the 1st place and she called another person to verify and she put them on the speaker phone to prove it to me, while the other manager was not aware of her tactics) just tacky! Then, I said can you have someone please just help me put the tires back in the car. Its 2 tires together attached or packaged like that because that's how they were delivered. She ignored me. Then, Day 2 I had to travel atleast 1 hour to return these tires. So, I went to Roanoke Rapids,NC. I lugged those tires together to the Service Department to be told that I needed to walk up to the front of the store. So, when I get there the young lady working at the Customer Service Desk informs me that she was not able to take my tires back becsuse 1) I ordered them online and 2) they didnt sale those tires at that WalMart 3) it was an after market item 4) the label after maket system would not accept the item. She told me that I needed to go to Rocky Mnt, NC which was another 30 minute drive away. I told her that it was unacceptable Customer Service. I Called the Corporate who and let the hear my complaint. He spoke with her and went over proper procedure over the line as I listened on and, she still was not able to accomodate our wishes. He placed me on hold as he made a complaint on her insufficient and insubordinate skill with handling the situation, however, I was still sent on to yet a 3rd store to return the tires. I get to Rocky Mount,NC and I go in I was directed to the Oil Changing Service Area when I get in the store. The gentlman asked me for a bar code and The customer Service had emailed it to me prior to getting there so I produced the email and gave him the bar code and he took it and he in turn gave me a reciept for my return so simple and quickly. I was for once satisfied after so much turmoil. Thank God. What an experience.
