They had me checked in within 5 minutes. They said it'd be about an hour, it ended up being done within 45 minutes. This was the week before Christmas and they were slammed, I was really impressed with their speed and efficiency. I had my oil and oil filter changed, my air filter changed, and a turn signal bulb replaced for under $75. I'm impressed. I've had good experiences with their tire services before but this was the first time I actually used them for other auto services, I will certainly be back.

Have gotten plenty of service from the Auto Care Center plenty of times, gotten a couple sets of tires and a lot of oil changes. Every time the service has been great, fast, and very helpful

I went here for an oil change last month. On my way to Walmart the low-pressure light came on. It was 6:30 am I'm driving on an old road. When I arrive there is basically nothing left on my wheel! I got there before they open, but the staff let me in early because I had an emergency. The mechanic was super nice and helpful. I end up having to use my spare tire because the rim is damaged. For all the inspection he did on vehicle I was only charged for the oil change(about $20, I brought my own oil). The process took less than an hour, probably because I was the first customer. I'll go back to get my tire install soon as my new rim arrives.

Do not go here for a oil change. They left the skid plate on my car hanging and it scraped the road. When I went back, they assured me they fixed it. When I got home, it hit against the curb and bent badly because it was still hanging and they didn't do a damn thing about it the second time.

I would give zero stars if possible. I went in and had my tires rotated. The staff did seem friendly, but they did not actually torque my lugs on my front driver side wheel. I was going down 69 and felt/heard noise from the front of my vehicle. Took an exit and four of my five lugs had maybe a thread remaining on the bolt before they would have fell off. One of them were torqued, but once again the other four almost fell off. Huge safety concern. Would not recommend. Very glad my studs did not break or my wheel fell off.

Took over 2 hrs for an oil change and on the new oil change told me to come back several thousand miles earlier than necessary for my type of car. They also refused to check if I had a nail in one of my tires that seems to be losing air faster than the others without charging me. Seriously? You can’t take 2 seconds while the tire is off during a rotation to see if there’s a nail in there? Shady and charge more than other places in town.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a tire shop. Had a nail in my tire and spent well over 3 hours to get a new tire put on. Person on the phone said it would be an in and out experience or else I would have went elsewhere. Stay far away from this location.

Had a 2:30 appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. They have it listed both services are 20-45 minutes max. Around 3:50 I approached the desk because I needed to pick my son up at 4:30, I communicated that and asked if I could go ahead and pay and get an estimate on how long it would be. I was told no to paying and that "your truck is in the tire bay" at 4:50 the mechanic came out and apologized because they couldn't figure out the lug nuts (after market rims) and the "center cap for the oil change", I was polite said it's okay but I have to go get my son because I'm now 25 minutes late. I'm not kidding the mechanic and desk lady just started small talking and laughing for an uncomfortable amount of time, neither moving to let me pay and leave. They separated a bunch of papers they mistakingly stapled together, and continued giggling. Honestly, with how defensive the desk chick was any time someone asked for any bit of information, and how ridiculously slow they were moving, it felt purposful. I'm a server, customer service is my job, I am not the negative review kind of person but this was not the first time I've had a bad experience at the auto desk and this time was unacceptable.

Supposed to open at 7 am. Nobody answered the phone till 7:47. I was told they had 1 opening at 1, so I scheduled that appointment . I took lunch at 12.00. I arrived at 12:30 for my tire change I was strolling thru the store, when I got a message saying my car was scheduled at 2. I went back to the automotive counter to ask why, but got no answers. So now I'm being docked at work because these completely incompetent employees... Now my tires cost an extra $25, because the hour I missed from work... Nobody even seemed concerned...DO NOT GO TO BLOOMINGTOM WALMART for ur automotive needs. They don't care about you at all.

The auto center usually has the best prices on tires. They also offer a good selection of name brands. If your size is not in stock, they generally can have it available in a few days.

I purchased a car battery for my 2001 Mercedes on Walmart.com after researching, and it arrived in a timely manner. I made an appointment to take it to the Walmart Auto Center, Bloomington Indiana for instillation. Service went well, polite staff, and the tech's name was Zach. Very professional, and no fee since I bought it from Walmart, thus I am happy!

Took vehicle in for set of new tires. Waited 2.5 hrs. Left with vehicle the car made a weird noise, called Walmart they said to bring it back in. Technician looked it over and hour later was told it was fine all wheels were balanced. Car still made a loud noise. Had vehicle looked at by a mechanic and Walmart bent my brake plate while installing the tires. Luckily mechanic was able to bend it back and it fixed the issue. I will never go to Walmart service again for ANYTHING. Manager did not look at it himself. If a customer returns with something wrong the manager should take it upon themselves to look at it but to be honest I got the feeling none of the employees really cared. Wasted an entire day off work dealing with this issue.

BEWARE. I Bought 2 tires and scheduled installation on 4/12/25 at 5 pm. I showed up at 4:45, and it took them until 7:20 to even pull my car into the service bay. Having driven there, I had to wait until 7:46 pm to get my car. The person at the desk didn't apologize and seemed annoyed he had to unlock the door to let me get my car without having to go all the way around the store. What a joke. I will never go back there unless it's to honor the warranty I bought. I'll make sure to have someone follow me so I'm not waiting three hours again. Many others had the same problem and were complaining.

THE STAFF IS MY FAVORITE PART! THEY ARE SO HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY! Bloomington Walmart Automotive Express is a great place for all your automotive needs. Typically 28-60 vehicles are serviced daily, so sometimes it can be up to an hour wait time... However, it isn't even a problem considering you can shop while they work! It's also Inexpensive compared to most other places.

Felt the need to write a review. I bought my tires online and scheduled online for Bloomington Walmart. Was I a bit scared and skeptical considering it's WALMART? Yes I was. I do all my own repairs mostly on my car because I don't trust shops anymore. But tires are a pain in the butt and I don't have a balance machine. I took my car to Bloomington's auto care for 4 all new tires and to my surprise they were done in about 45 minutes. You hear horror stories about overtightened lug nuts etc etc. The tires felt balanced when I drove, the tires were all inflated to the proper PSI and the lug nuts were torqued to the correct spec. All very surprising, and I get a lifetime balance/rotation. You really can't ask for more than this.

Worst customer service on planet. They won't answer the phone when you call and ignore you when you come in. Probably not worth the decent price I got on the tires

Absolutely abysmal experience. Went in for tires and an alignment. Took over 3 hrs even though they were not busy, watched the staff standing around and goofing off for over an hour, and after all that they “forgot” to do the alignment. Would have been better off going anywhere else.

You should already know better than to have your car serviced at a Walmart. If you need an oil change just go to Stricklands. All I wanted was a new battery put in, pretty simple job. Walmart auto declined to do this for me and told me it needed an alternator instead. So I take it to a real mechanic shop where they tested the alternator and said it was fine and all it needed was a new battery. All told, I'm out over $200 because of the bad advice I was given. I will not be using Walmart auto in the future.

I usually don't have an issue here. However, this visit yielded a bit of conflicting information by an internal company understanding of information and vehicle needing to be present for service. The management involved had excellent issue resolving and management skills. I do appreciate this place working with me on the fly today. I would just like to see it informed more often that the vehicle does not need to be present for a tire to be serviced if carried in. I do appreciate Jason for working with me to get the repair accomplished in a timely manner. Thank you.
