I had a flat tire from hitting a curb and the employees at this location made getting it fixed so quick and easy! I was in and out in about 30 minutes with a brand new tire! They really saved me since it was New Year’s Day and all other tire shops were closed. I can’t thank them enough for their help!

I was very unhappy with the auto center. I waited an hour and a half while they had my truck to do an oil change on it and when they called me back they told me that they were not able to change the oil because it had oil seepage and they did not work on vehicles with oil leaks. I have had that truck for 9 months and have never had to add oil and have never had a drop stain my driveway. They were not even willing to show me what they were talking about or even show me a pic of the leak. I am a busy person with a business and caring for my 83 year old father and every minute counts to me let alone an hour and a half for nothing to happen besides me spending money in their store while waiting.

I have a 2011 BMW. I went to this Walmart Auto Care Center here in Lewisville; I had scheduled an appointment for 5 pm after work. I arrived on time, and a worker approached, asking me to open my car's hood. After inspecting it, he told me that it was impossible for them to perform an oil change on my vehicle because it has an electronic oil gauge, and they don't do oil changes on cars without a manual oil gauge. I explained that I had previously had oil changes at Walmart for BMWs, and I had never encountered an issue with an electronic oil gauge. This is very stressful because I needed to change my vehicle's oil as I have a long road trip today. Now, I have to wait until the next day to get the oil change elsewhere and hopefully make it to my destination on time.

Last minute on New Years Day my tire went flat for no reason because the temperature dropped fast. My wife works overnight and I was at home with my little girl and needed to make sure my tire was fixed, I called and Tyler and Kareem at the Tire Center let me come by and fixed me up after they were technically not supposed to take any more customers. They went above and beyond and we’re super friendly about it as well. Thanks guys!! Show this to your boss if they ever question you again!!!

Good service. Been here twice this month. Once to get the battery replaced and today to get the oil change done. Not much wait, good service, friendly staff and reasonable pricing. Far better than dealerships where they try to overcharge. Next time i am going to get my tyres here and take the warranty. Seems promising. Btw, helpful people here 👍

I went there today to check my battery that I installed last year. There were 3 cars in front of me, and there were many customers, not enough staffs. Then, Cory came out and he handled all the customers very fast. On top of it, since I was there for just a quick battery check, he checked my battery really quick, and moved on to the next customer. His service was truely superb and efficient. I had a long day at work, but Cory's excellent service absolutely made my day. Great job, and Thank you very much for your excellent service on my battery.

Went to get my vehicle serviced with the $24.88 pit crew oil change and apparently according to the service tech, they don’t fill up certain fluids. From what I gathered the tech informed me they don’t fill up power steering fluid brake fluid. When I asked the Front desk what came with the package that I got she couldn’t even inform me on what the package deal was. So then, I asked to speak to a manager the manager comes out and informs me. They fill all fluids up to the neutral line. Then technician comes out and tells me that the fluid we were looking at is not my steering fluid, but in fact my brake fluid, so he didn’t even know which fluids were what, on top of that my fluids were not filled up to the neutral line like the manager had said, and he then just walked away as the conversation was continuing between me and the tech. Save yourself time, go somewhere else they don’t know what they’re doing at Walmart, nor do they care about the service their customers are receiving nor do they know what comes with the service, nor do they know which fluids or what.

My personal experience was overall positive as I went for batter replacement and I knew I got the original back there some time ago. I did not expect it, but they located my order, identified the battery, showed me the date (past 3 years) and told me it has 2 extra years of pro-rating, so I ended up with replacement for less without asking for it. on the other hand things there are clearly hectic and most of the techs have developed a healthy habit of not pushing too hard. There was a young black dude with a Walmart hat on that was on the service desk and handled my case and a few others. He was operating about 3 times the speed the techs working at the nearest two lines looking from inside. That same dude sneaked in a few customers while handling my case, which was not good for me, but was probably better for the company and as I said he was reasonably fast...so no hard feelings. I still take off one star for the overall organization of the place. I think it would have operated differently if it was owner operated. Probably would not have had the Walmart prices though.

I got an oil changed literally within 2 days my car started saying no oil and low oil pressure and my husband looked at it. Said my oil filter was bad and was out of oil! I called 3 times to get my money back! Still haven’t heard from them. I had to get a new filter even tho they said they changed it. They didn’t. I had to get more oil and do it myself. Still waiting on them to call me back and give me my money back.

I helped a young, Black woman get her tires serviced at this location. I walked in and at the counter stood a disgruntled, over weight, Caucasian, woman with a name that read “Tristan.” As we waited for her to finish snapping at the Indian man at the desk, an older, already irritated, Black man walked up and asked her to clarify the policy because he just talked to her manager and he disputed what she had already told him. She proceeded to speak to this man in a very ugly, confrontational tone. You could see the man’s anger growing and he was trying to keep from yelling at her. She essentially said that her manager didn’t know what he was talking about and the older gentleman can go and talk to her manager, she didn’t care. She then casted her bad attitude and death stare at me. I informed her that I had the other tire and we needed it added to the ticket. She snapped at me that they weren’t taking anymore cars! I again tried to explain it wasn’t a new car it was one they were already working on. She now more aggressively starts to speak to me. I cut her off and asked if she speaks to all her customers in such a manner or just those with more pigment in our skin than herself? I reassured her that if she proceeds in that manner with me I would NOT be as collected as the gentleman she just spoke to. I explained to her I was paying for the services rendered and the young lady needed to get her keys because she was late for work. She continued to hold the young ladies keys even longer. There was no reason for Tristan to have been as combative and rude as she was people who think they can behave in such a manner shouldn’t be working in customer service.

I went here due to a nail being in my tire. I normally come to this location whenever Im in need of a quick fix and they are always so polite and fun. Not today! The service was terrible! Nothing was handled in the normal routine where they ask for my info and check me in at my car. This time I was told to go inside and they would help. When I spoke to the employee to setup my service she acted as if I was inconveniencing her! Didn’t ask for any of my info. Attempted to book me for the wrong service due to not asking me questions! Then requested my tire info and asked me “ Why the attitude” when I said my vehicle info is in the system and I asked for confirmation that my assumption was correct. She then continued to antagonize me by making statements under her breath like “We’re all human”. I asked her to stop and she finally did. I was baffled by the interaction with her and I asked for a manager. Then the manager Jonathon shrugged me off and was rude as well. Although he did assist with my vehicle immediately! Still he made excuses for the poor customer service and didn’t even care to apologize for his employees behavior even after confirming she booked me for a random service. Never have I been made to feel like a burden or been spoken to like a child while paying for a service due to poor customer service from employees! I honestly don’t even trust that the manager was honest about the service I needed or that they replaced my tire. I wont be coming back, but I know that’s exactly what these employees want to hear.

I paid for the oil change and they didn't change the oil filter and they didn't reset the oil maintenance light either. The report paper says they did it, but they didn't.

I took 2 hours out of my day to come here and get an oil change. I dropped my car off and 6 minutes later I get a notification that my car is done. I go back and they tell me they canceled my oil change because my dipstick is broken. Yes my dipstick is technically broken but you can take it out using your fingers like a normal dipstick every other oil change place does this with no issue. They also left my vehicle in the Walmart parking lot with the driver side window wide open so anybody could get in it. I have read other reviews and apparently they are notorious for being awful at this do not bring your vehicle to this place.

Yesterday evening I took my car Toyota highlander to Walmart Lewisville, for oil change. When they finished replacing the oil and filter, I went straight back to my house. Today early morning I went out and didn’t realize that my parking spot was full of engine oil. On driving 20 miles the engine oil light turned on. When checked, the oil tank is completely empty and a continuous loud noise is heard from the engine. I towed the car to the Lewisville Walmart. Mechanic examined and said the filter gasket has been wrongly installed and thus broken into two halves. Then they replaced the gasket and oil and then the loud sound is gone. When I asked them they told they won’t be responsible if there’s any engine damage occurs due to driving with no oil. I will never recommend that place.

I can’t say enough about the incredible team at Walmart Automotive—Dan, Blake, Chris, Tranyla, Thomas, and Tay. I had a tire blowout recently, which could have been a very stressful and overwhelming experience, but from the moment I walked in, this team made everything smooth, easy, and even enjoyable. Each person on the team went above and beyond to make sure I felt cared for and understood. They were not only highly professional, but also incredibly empathetic and patient, taking the time to explain every step of the process and answer my questions. It was clear that they genuinely cared about my safety and my experience, not just completing a task. What stood out the most was how well they all worked together. They coordinated seamlessly, communicated effectively, and made sure nothing fell through the cracks.
