I've brought my cars to Wittmeier for every scheduled service, and was never as happy with the service I received as I was with this last one - maybe they had a new team, or maybe the planets aligned just right, I don't know, but not only did they check everything, rotate tires, change oil, etc. but for the first time ever - they washed my car! I was thrilled, because it needed it 😅 I've bought three cars from Wittmeier, so I bring them there for service, and they have never washed my car after a service before. I love it, and hope it's now part of the service! Plus the staff I communicated with were very friendly and helpful - that's how it's supposed to be done. 5 stars!

Bought a 2022 honda HRv from them. Two weeks ago, my car wouldn't start. Called to see if they could help me. They said no, even with me right down the street from them. Luckily I was able to get a jump start, and after that, my car ran just fine. Was thinking it was a battery issue, but I got my battery tested and nothing was wrong with it. Fast forward two weeks later and same thing happened. Car wouldn't start. So I had to leave my car in a parking lot until the morning to which then I was able to get another jump start, took my car immediately here and explained what was going on. The guy who with servicing me said it would cost $200 just to run test on my vehicle for the battery and alternator. When I said that is absolutely absurd, I would not pay such a fee. He said to me that they have to pay their workers somehow which I know is complete bs. I walked out called around and was able to get my battery tested and alternator tested FOR FREE just down the street at Jiffy Lube. Turns out it wasn't my battery or alternator it was just an issue with the key battery, which is what I figured from the beginning, but everyone had different opinions on what was wrong with my car. The guy's at jiffy lube, were more than welcoming and very helpful they were very kind to me and pointed me towards going to batteries plus to get my key battery changed. Sure enough, that's what the issue was. The battery in my key was completely dead. Therefore, I got it replaced for just $22. I don't remember his name but to the guy at this dealership, who told me that you needed $200 just to test my battery and alternator to pay your employees, I hope other people see this and do not get their car serviced with you. Just because I am a woman doesn't mean I don't know anything about cars and can't see right through your bullshit fees. This dealership wants your money above anything. Please save yourself the headache, extreme cost and just go somewhere else to get your car serviced. Heck, even make the drive up to Redding and go to crown motors. I bought my last car there and they were absolutely excellent and anytime my car needed service, they were absolutely kind and reasonable about it. I honestly have a feeling that if I would have let them run the diagnostics. They would have said there was something wrong with my car and I needed all this work done, because that's how these shady dealerships work. And i'm seeing other reviews, exactly like mine. I almost never want to step foot in here again. This isn't the first issue I've had with them and it won't be the last.

Kyle was an incredibly helpful service advisor! We had to have our vehicle towed in, and he made it so we didn’t have to show up until the work we approved was completed and vehicle was ready to go. The quote was reasonable and the total cost in the end actually came in a bit under what we initially approved. Maria was helpful as well. Everyone we spoke to was kind and made this an easy process. A car wash would have been nice, I guess we didn’t spend enough. Oh well, we still are appreciative and will use them again when necessary.

Always a great experience. Lounge could have more comfortable chairs though. The ones along the wall should be around the tables, and new more comfortable ones placed along the wall. Placing metal outdoor patio furniture in your lounge as tables and chairs was obviously not a woman's choice.

I've only dealt with the service department. Customer service is great here and from what I've seen they've not tried to suggest anything that my vehicle didn't need. They are expensive, but everyone knows that when you go to the dealer you have to expect that, so par for the course. I love the shuttle service.

Our recall service was handled quickly and efficiently. Michael Campanella the service manager was very nice, and made sure to investigate the problem and get the necessary parts fast. My experience was that everyone from the receptionist, management and technician was knowledgeable and professional. We appreciate you!!

After years of bringing my Honda and Chevy truck here with mostly good service they dropped the ball big time. My truck had whiningand grinding sounds coming from the rear. I brought it in for a diagnostic. They told me the whining came from the front wheel bearings. I asked them to double check there was nothing wrong with the rear. They said apart from a rear differential leak and worn struts, the rear end was fine and the whining and grinding was definitely from worn out parts in the front. They tried to sell me a new truck after I stated multiple times I had zero interest in another truck, but would rather repair the truck instead of scrapping it. I told them I would be in the next day to pay the balance and pick up the truck. The service writer told me they would only release my truck if I had a tow truck meet me there to pick it up. I told her they were not legally allowed to hold my property but she maintained her position of keeping my truck until a tow truck picked it up. I went the next day, paid for the diagnostic and took my truck without a tow truck. The service writer was nowhere to be found. It took 6 days from the time I dropped off my truck until it was ready from their diagnostic. I went home, ordered the parts, and got to work. After spending $3k in parts and 2 days installing I took care of everything on the list they gave me. The whining and grinding was still there. So I took the truck to a local 4x4 specialty shop and they confirmed my issue was indeed the rear differential and it needed to be rebuilt. My conclusion is Wittmeier Chevrolet may be good at dealing with recalls, engine/ transmissions swaps, and oil changes, but to misdiagnose a failing rear differential and placing all blame for the whining and grinding coming from the rear on the front end is a miscarriage of skills. My advice, do not use this service center unless it is for a recall. There are more competent and cheaper alternatives out there that will not overcharge, delay, misdiagnose, and try to sell you what you do not want. I gave 2 stars for their assistance in the past, the last 3 times I have been here have become progressively worse. Only recalls here for me from now on. Update: The time before the diagnostic I asked them to rekey my ignition. They replaced the ignition, same key, same wobbley worn out issue, and my cruise control no longer worked. I truly hope this business fails and is used for a homeless camp in the future.

Negligent and disturbing. They were like, "which key was yours again?" 🤦 Then they "fixed" the battery hookup and said that was the stater problem, nope, the starter is still the problem and it cost an arm and a leg to still have the problem. Not straightforward. A friend also doesn't like the place.

I’d say the worst Dealership in Northern California. You’ll get red carpet treatment all the way up until you sign the contract. After that they will shuffle you around passive aggressive salesman, ignore the promises made, ignore calls, go back on the deals they made the previous day. I bought two cars in two days and they couldn’t care less about helping us with the promised service plan, removing the 3rd party tracking device that they charged $1800 for and we do not even want on the car. They owed me $10k balance and promised next day check “just come back tomorrow”. Well I came back and they started the negotiations on that check. Complete BS. I will never go back and I will encourage all my friends and family to stay away from Wittmeier in Chico. Terrible! The only positive I can say is Courtney in sales was nice and helpful. Outside of that, nightmare. Oh and make sure you ask for all the keys, they won’t even make sure you have everything for your new car.

Everyone at Wittmeier is always super nice. From when I checked in in the morning to when I paid and picked up my car, everyone was friendly and helpful. The check in process was very fast and my online appointment details were all ready to go. The shuttle driver was very friendly and prompt. The lady that helped finalize my bill was very nice and made me feel as if she already knew me. I always feel confident that the Wittmeier staff values my business and takes care of my car as if I am more than just a customer. Thank you.

Couldn’t even get past the cashiers. Update 2024: I went back for my scheduled oil changes and all that and had much better experience. Carlos the mechanic that I was dealing with was so cool and patient with me. I used the Ford pass and had someone pick my truck up for it’s service! So I avoided the place all together making my experience very pleasant.

Got to check engine light, and gave them the codes from the onstar. They told me everything accurately regarding Parts availability and timing. Dan was quite helpful and got me into a loner with no issue

Carlos has been a great asset in my life when it comes to getting my car serviced. For the past three years, he has helped me with making sure everything is okay with my car, getting me in quickly for a quick fix, or even an emergency flat tire. No matter what, I’m always able to count on him and I’m always ensured that my car and I are in good hands. Not only does he care about the car being serviced, but he cares about the person behind the wheel as well. Carlos always asks how life is going, how college is going, and is always giving advice whether it be for college or life in general. I am sincerely grateful to him for the past three years of help and I believe he will do great things because he is not only a great person, but he genuinely goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. He deserves every promotion and great thing that Whittmeir has to offer and Whittmeir is very lucky to have him on their team!

I had an issue with the hard top on my Bronco under warranty and Kyle the service writer coordinated parts orders and an appointment scheduled. What could have been a big job was done in one day. This is the type of service that gives confidence in the manufacturer and the dealership. Thanks Kyle Thanks Wittmeier

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience is something the local community should be aware of. Over the past 20 years, I’ve purchased or leased six vehicles. I usually drive to the Sacramento area because pricing and professionalism tend to be better, but this time I chose to keep my business local. That decision turned out to be a major mistake. Three weeks after signing paperwork, I am *still* being given the runaround on my final charges and have received nothing in the mail confirming that my purchase even exists. During the process, a $375 “door and hood theft” coverage was added without my consent. I was also asked to return to re-sign paperwork **three separate times**, and now they’re requesting a fourth visit. What makes this worse is the constant shifting story. One week I receive a call saying they “found more rebates,” followed by another call the next week claiming they found even *more*. The numbers never add up, the explanations don’t make sense, and the entire process feels like smoke and mirrors. I finally told them to keep the supposed $7-per-month savings from these “new incentives” rather than waste another trip signing yet more documents. If you’re looking to purchase or lease a vehicle, I strongly recommend avoiding **Whitmeier**. Their finance department has been completely unprofessional and disorganized. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to **Sacramento**—you’ll save time, frustration, and likely have a far better overall experience. I am now seeking legal council for guidance on my options to return the vehicle.

I'm not too sure I should yet. We are still trying to get the scratches took care of on my niece's brand new Honda Hrv. We pointed them out on the lot before we purchased it. Been back or 4 times now and still not finished. I feel like the salesman just wanted to get her money and move on to the next victim.

Most recent information to date that coincides with my last review. My car has been at another Honda service dealer for two weeks in That’s right The greater Sacramento area and they have without a doubt diagnosed, AND repaired my car for almost HALF the price that wittmeier Honda was comfortable trying to charge me at $6,401.59. My car didn’t require one repair that Wittmeire Honda recommended. With the other dealership I was provided a little over a 4 minute video showing me the full diagnosis of my vehicle and at the end of the day it was related to the recalled fuel pump parts that I asked them multiple times to recheck for me. When I asked them to do that I was met with the comment of “no one here is going to argue with you@!?!? The fuel cap filler flaps were completely missing from the fuel pump area. So at the end of the day they lost out on a bunch of money $$$$$$ and some because they couldn’t SCAM me. I may be a woman but I’m educated. Photos below to prove my statements. Still in shock they wanted to replace a bunch of electrical components and not a single one had any issues, literally just taking the time to do a full inspection and they too would have found the issue. I felt the spent more time fighting with me over the car than the time it would have taken them to just do their job the right way. They had my vehicle in total over 30 days with a bunch of nonsense repairs that weren’t needed. First image is the price I paid to get my car working again with no issues from the dealer in Sacramento. The next image is the conversation with Kalvin from Chico Honda, and the final photo is the quote provided by Chico Honda.
