Zach is a good, honest mechanic. Definitely deserves 5 stars. Honest Zach clearly communicates his diagnoses, options and repair processes. He does his best to work with the customer, and he takes the time to explain everything in detail. Some repairs are trickier, but he always explains the best possible options, and any possible risks. Doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need. Knowledgeable I've gone to Zach for a number of repairs for my 2005 Honda Accord. Each time, he's taught me about the car, parts, and repairs. He is experienced and knowledgeable. Affordable When possible, Zach tries to be on the customer's side and save them money as well. This isn't always possible, but he does his best.

Zach helped resolve issues on two of my cars today. One had an A/C problem on the driver's side that only blew hot air even when we set it at a very low temperature. He quickly identified it as a broken air blend actuator, ordered the part, and replaced it. My second car had hesitated ignition, and the other mechanic replaced the battery and alternator but did not solve the problem. Zach found out it was a bad starter and fixed it right away. He only uses quality parts and is very skilled and honest, and the charges are very reasonable. We highly recommend him if you need a dependable mechanic to repair your cars.

I took my car for an oil leak check this morning. I got there at 8:20am, 10 minutes before the door opened. The owner who was assisting me was opened on time at 8:30am. He immediately started working on my car and showed me what was happening. I asked him if he could fix it. He said yes, and it would only cost me $20. I was so impressed with his service and honesty. I’ve been bringing our RX350 to Z&D Auto for a while now—previously we did oil changes and brakes, always at a very fair price. Recently, we started noticing a high-pitch whining noise from the engine that got louder when pressing the gas. We were a bit worried since engine noises could mean costly repairs. Zach took the car in, did a careful diagnosis, and tracked it down to a worn alternator. He didn’t just say “the alternator needs replacing”—he patiently explained the issue and even demonstrated how a good alternator should sound compared to a failing one. He broke down the costs clearly (parts and labor) and assured me he only uses high-quality replacement parts. Later that same day, he called to let me know the repair was finished. Zach, the owner and primary mechanic is the most knowledgeable mechanic my husband and I have ever used. My father is now using him and him, and him only as he said, “I don’t trust anyone but Zach.” Not only is he a super mechanic, but he is also very good with people.
