I had my first experience at Zabor Automotive in Crest Hill this past week for general preventative maintenance on my 2011 Honda. The website offered an oil change special that you could mention during online booking that was way cheaper than the dealers or even your local oil change place. After the service, the technician Rob showed me how worn my alternator belt was as well as the front disc rotors that would need replacement in the near future. This kind of attention to detail is much appreciated. Very impressed with the level of knowledge as well as the transparency that is communicated by the staff. Their computer system that they use is neat too. The link provided allows me to see the work I’ve had done as well as the future services that will need to be done; including pricing for those services (so I can budget!), my invoices and the option to make the appointment all in one place. Very convenient. I would highly recommend Zabor Automotive!

Great people! They were there for us in the middle of the night when my truck broke down. I was not a former customer but they let us have it towed to their place and promptly checked out what needed to be done. Very patient and nice. Winter is just a pleasure to speak with. Highly recommend

From the time I walked in till I walked out, this place is a hidden gem! My mechanic, randy walked me threw my entire vehicle. This is what I have been looking for. Honest no bs. I went in for a oil change he explained everything in detail. These guys r my new place to go.! I'm so happy I found this place! It's nice to know there are awesome people out there that actually care about your car and you! Thanks Randy!

We had a big repair job here. They do a great job of making sure the vehicle the repairs are perfectly done before letting you take it home. They also do a great job of being honest about what you need and don't need repaired. They aren't looking to rip you off at all. They are smart enough to know a customer is an investment.

I had a problem with the ignition and it kept turning off, I decided to take it to this shop, but my experience was very bad, the cost of the review cost me 140 dollars, which I agreed to trusting that they would tell me the problem, the next day they sent me a text message that the problem was the crankshaft sensor, which they changed and the total cost was 320 dollars, I went to the shop trusting that they finished the problem but it continued, the next day I returned I left the vehicle and they informed me the next day that the problem was the computer, the cost of that repair was 800, which I decided to take the car as is. It was absurd to pay for that crankshaft sensor which was good and pay to change a good sensor for 180 dollars, absurd. I do not recommend this shop.

I booked an apt for Air Conditioning in my husband’s SUV.. I must have called around to 20 different shops, and they were by far the best rates. Not to mention we have to use R1234yf refrigerant which cost between $375 -$499 to recharge.. Everyone was super friendly, easy to talk too, they explained the services. Mechanic filled Freon and went home.. My husband noticed a little bit later that the air was not blowing cold at all.. We replaced the filters but nothing changed. I made an apt to bring back. Since my husband works on the right away, sometimes he has to drive in grass. We had some stuff stuck up inside that was causing the air from circulating.. The mechanic cleaned everything out, and air started blowing super cold..Thank you Zabor!

10/10 service! I love Wynter and her honesty when it comes to pricing/services! Randy did an amazing job replacing my transmission last year and making sure that it was functional! Randy always makes sure my car is perfect and safe before letting me drive again to which I always appreciate! I love coming here (even if it’s bad news sometimes haha) but I feel safe, listened to, and know I will be in good hands! 10/10 would recommend!!

A trustworthy shop I honestly 10/10 recommend Zabor!! I’ve never had such an awesome experience at any other shop before!!! I have a car that’s difficult to get parts for~ that plus being a girl, I always am on edge when I take my car in. I came in to Zabor to get my brakes done, and THEY DID NOT take advantage of me being a girl, and were also pretty freaking efficient with the parts coming in and timing!! THANK YALL sooooo much!! Especially to Wynter for being so kind! I wish I could give more stars to y'all!!

I usually do all of my own work but for health reasons i had to find a repair shop that i could trust with my baby. The repair was performed quickly and my vehicle is like brand new! A couple months ago my daughter rear sub frame rusted out. We took her car to Zabor,honestly mostly because they are 3 minutes from our house. So I decide to go to Ziebart in Ottawa only to find out my front subframe is rusted out. Both cars are Mazdas so if you own one do yourself a favor and get rust proofing!!! I'm choosing Zabor because they did a good job on my daughters car and I'm trusting that they will do one on mine as well.

I’ve had every service imaginable at Zabor auto.transmission replacement, rebuild, oil, tires, engine repai.. Every time it’s the fastest and most affordable. They go above and beyond to work with needs and timeframe. I moved to Florida but travel back and forth to Illinois. If it’s something that can wait, I have it done at Zabor.

Did a great job on my 07 Cadillac. It took me almost a year to pay of the repairs but they remained patient and understanding! Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality and fairly priced repairs. They technically refurbished the whole car mechanically and fixed every problem that they could find which is what I requested. 10 stars!
