My mom has been coming here for years and it was finally my turn to bring my car in for the first time! Not only was everyone super friendly, but they were straight to the point and honest about my vehicle while staying professional and offering solutions. The guys here gave great service and were very timely as well and only had my car for just a few hours. Overall a great first experience and I will continue going here in the future!

Through the recommendation of a friend, I brought my wife's 1990 Toyota Pickup for some much needed maintenance. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that these folks did! I was greeted by Tom, who was very professional and friendly - he took the time to go over every item in detail and provided a fair estimate on what it would cost to repair all of the items we requested. There was no pressure to do any unnecessary work. He gave me a time-frame for when the job would be done - and it was all accomplished on time... and under budget as well! Bill, the owner, was also great - his shop is clean and well run! The technician that worked on our truck was very professional and took the time to go over the work he performed, which was very appreciated! I wouldn't hesitate to bring any of my vehicles back, and would highly recommend 25th Street Automotive to anyone looking for a fair and honest repair shop.

Horrible experience! My check engine light was on and the code was p0101(MAF) .I knew that going in so when I got back to the shop and I was given a bill for diagnostics $323 . I couldnt believe it and upon questioning him what that was for. He said well it took a long time to diagnose it . I told you that when I brought it here, and if I didn't pay it they would keep my car until I did. They said I needed a Nissan OEM MAF sensor and ..the estimate was $617 for the part plus labor. That's crazy and they were over $300 higher than repair pals highest estimate. Don't let all those good ratings fool you because I was ripped off and if the owner cares as much as the reviews say than I should have a refund coming. I got absolutely nothing for $323.

Just a small issue with my girlfriends Mustang - her turn signal was going in and out. We called, got in quickly, and they were done in under 30 minutes for a fair price. Thanks guys!

I've been taking my vehicles to 25th St Automotive for years, and they've always been honest and reliable. Bill, the owner, is trustworthy and never tries to upsell unnecessary services. They've worked on a variety of cars in our family, from a Range Rover to an Acura MDX, and we've always been happy with the quality of work, fair prices, and friendly service. Highly recommend!

I was treated with kindness and not treated like an "old lady" who doesn't know anything. They had to order a part to fix my AC and didn't charge me a deposit for the part.

After having taken my Kia Sorento to a local Kia dealership for a routine oil change, the dealership claimed that there was over $3000 worth of ‘critical’ work needed on the car. Instead, I brought my car into 25th Street Automotive (due to their excellent reviews). They were extremely transparent with what was essential (which was considerably less than $3K), verses simply tying to sell more service to make more money. Rarely does a car owner know more about their vehicle than an experienced mechanic/technician. So we are usually at the mercy of ethical people. I now only bring my car here because the experience has been honest, clear, consistent and friendly. I highly recommend these guys.

The team at 25th Street Automotive were amazing! They were great at communicating throughout the repair process, especially since I had to have my car towed there, and letting me know what was wrong, and how long it would take to fix it. The pricing was reasonable, and mechanics did a wonderful job. I'll go back!

The front left headlight on my 2027 Buick LaCrosse failed. It's lit through an HID lamp. Everything on line indicated that, in order to replace it, my front bumper needed to removed, consuming about 2-3 hours of labor. Javier, however, was able to remove and replace the lamp without removing the bumper. He was amazing and saved me a bunch of money. He showed great professionalism and gave wonderful customer service.

This shop makes you trust them. They diagnose, provide estimates, do quality work, finish on time, communicate well, and truly listen to customer concerns. Even though I live across town I’ll always choose them over places that are closer.

I have lived next to this location for over 13 years, and every time, I have wanted to make this location my permanent local mechanic. However, every time I have gone to get work done on my vehicle, I get someone saying that they are too busy to take new business or their short-handed. This location also wanted to charge me $500.00 to change a battery (really?? !!) He said because my battery is located by the front wheel well, he is taking the tire off, and putting back on was a lot of labor... hmmm ( hate to see what they would charge to drop an engine 😒) needless to say, I went elsewhere and got one for 1/2 of what they were asking...apparently they want a different type of clientele. Good luck

Took my car in for a specific problem- a creaking noise. They diagnosed two things that could be the issue and left me to decide, with either repair costing over $1000. I made the uninformed decision, as a normal car owner with no education or professional training, got my car back and the noise was STILL there. I asked the mechanic to drive down the street with me so that he could hear the noise. They said, oh it must be the other thing we think it is. You are the professionals. Why did I have to guess and take a chance on which issue it was, and be wrong and spend thousands of dollars to NOT have my car be fixed? Why did I have to suggest the mechanic drive with me so he could hear the actual issue? Very frustrating.

Made an appointment for my transmission... specifically said that was reason for visit. After driving to the shop for 30 minutes, was advised to bring it to a transmission shop. Maybe don't take my appointment next time. Do NOT recommend Update: thanks for the snarky response about predicting the issue over the phone. What this comes down to is I mentioned transmission over the phone and said the EXACT SAME THING in person. You people are a joke and the customer service is appalling since Bill is gone. Again, DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you want to be talked down to and given the run around. I'll never return to this place despite them being primary service of my vehicle for 5 years. There are more respectful shops in the valley and this is NOT one of them.

These guys are the best. I 100% trust them and their judgement. I’ve never had a problem with their work, prices are reasonable, and they are completely transparent about what needs to be done and why. They have even told me when it was time to let go of an old car and also encouraged me to hang onto my current one that is in really good shape and has many more years of life left. I won’t go to another mechanic.

Awesome guys! Being away home gets tough especially not knowing who to take your vehicle too. They are super close to my apartment so I thought why not give them a try. They diagnosed a suspension problem with my ‘02 xterra but unfortunately could not do the work but ended up referring a great shop that I can take it too, so when it was time to get my new vehicle inspected after purchasing they were the first ones in mind! Called them up and Tom got me in the books to get my new ‘12 xterra checked out! Gave me a run down of what needed to get fixed even had my vehicle ready before time frame! THEY DO NOT PRESSURE YOU AT ALL! They let me know that I should be looking at getting some new tires (I had already ordered some but the fact they checked on them even though they do not work on tires is awesome!) I already have a list of things I need them to do next but going to add a few miles and enjoy this new beast before heading back for my oil change! Thanks for everything guys!

They lie. Caught lying then didn’t own up. Wasn’t the first time they took advantage. Steer clear of this place! They will initially gain your trust and then take advantage of you. This is a posting based on the sanctimonious reply to my review. They lied. They told us our battery was dead and we needed both batteries auxiliary and regular battery for our jeep. The main battery was under warranty and we called AAA to check. He said the battery was fine and we should run as fast as we can from 25th st automotive. Oh and btw they wanted to charge us 2x the going rate for the aux battery as well. As I mentioned before this wasn’t the first time this shop was dishonest with us. Buyer beware! Thus had nothing to do with and high standards or a “fit” for my family. But no price can buy you honesty and integrity.

I can't say enough great things about 25th St. Auto and their incredible team. My 2016 Buick was throwing a ton of codes (catalytic converter, EVAP, and more) after a visit to another shop, and I was quoted thousands of dollars in repairs. I brought it to 25th St. Auto hoping for a second opinion, and they went above and beyond. They took the time to really diagnose the actual issue, and the final repair cost ended up being just a fraction of what the other shop quoted. On top of that, they completed my emissions test so I could get my registration taken care of—total lifesavers! The communication, transparency, and overall hospitality blew me away. After this experience, I won’t take my car anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Fast, courteous, and professional. They never tried to upsell me, and even put in some small extra services they didn't need to in order to complete the approved work. Whole experience was seamless, and Matt was happy to talk me through some issues my vehicle was having even though it was clear I wasn't going to have those issues fixed there. Will be coming back here for those big jobs I can't do myself again!

The guys at 25th automotive are awesome! Since finding them, I’ve learned a lot about what my car needs to operate for years to come. They do an outstanding job at servicing/repairs and they are the only shop to incorporate technology and software in their business model that I’ve encountered. I really appreciate Tekmetric, which gives you a detailed record of inspection results with photos and a list of repairs with estimated costs. They also have a self-booking option as well. Never been more excited to spend money to get my car serviced!

Absolutely amazing work. Thorough, honest, & knowledgeable of modified off-road vehicles. 75 point inspections to help diagnose what was going on with my jeep & they did one of the most in depth inspections I’ve ever received. Didn’t give me a hard time about it being modified like the jeep dealership would have. Always support small businesses and local shops when servicing your vehicles, they will always be honest rather than gouging you at the dealer for services that you don’t need.
