Al knows his trade in and out. I arrived with a truck that had been hit hard in the front. Al pulled out the factory frame specification sheet and then proceeded to perform about 60 measurements underneath the vehicle. After this he hung level gauges down the center of the vehicle to show just how the damage stretched. Someone had grafted in a frame horn wrong. Al had one sitting around and was able to include it as part of the frame servicing. I will likely die never knowing where the new horn was welded in as the job was done so well. He put a quote together methodically and gave me a not to exceed price and timeline (both of which he came under budget on). I went back a week later to amazing results and Al explained how the frame was aligned. If I ever make another poor purchase or get in an accident I will be heading straight back to Al. In a world of mostly mediocre work it is nice to run across someone that does it right the first time.

My truck had an "oops" on the trail and the frame was bent in the front and back. Al could tell right away I tried "DIY" methods and gave me the business for it. Important? Absolutely because it showed me he's paying attention. Truck "free rolls" better than ever! He fixed my frame, set the axles, and even popped a door dent back out! Thanks Al! Worthless! Al acted like fool when I brought my suv in for an estimate, got bumped in the rear needed sheet metal pulled so rear door would close, weirdo looked at for about 5 seconds said you need new rails and a pan yep I wouldn't even work on it, then just walks away. Don't waste your time on this old fool should've known better than to go anywhere near the sunnyslope hood.

Done right the first time. I have an off-road vehicle that I thought I could repair myself after twisting the frame. Spent two weekends unsuccessfully attempting to repair it. Al noted he wasn't a fan of taking on projects that other people had started, understandably. He took a look at it, gave me a price and told me it would be ready the next day. I was blown away. I only had one measurement for the repair based on a non-wrecked vehicle. Al didn't need to use this measurement but in the end that measurement was DEAD ON. I received my corrected measurements back within millimeters. Impeccable work ethic, knowledge spanning an entire career and PRIDE IN THE WORK..this what makes the pros, the pros. Worth every penny. I purchased a car a few months back that had some clunking and alignment related issues. After trying to have a mechanic shop work through the issues (without luck), they recommended I contact a frame shop because they thought the frame was bent. I found Al's Unibody on a Google search and contacted him. Al is definitely very old school, which is great. He had me bring my vehicle into his shop and he put it on the 2 post lift and started to inspect it, just to see if he was able to fix the problem before he would even begin working on it! Wow, super impressive! Needless to say the frame was not bent and I was shown where the previous work performed was not done correctly. Al's ended up installing two new struct/shock assemblies and made some other adjustments to the vehicle and it's been driving great ever since! Thanks again, Al! Great work!

The best and most experienced auto frame straightener in the state! Watched him work on a race car frame. He made it look so easy, but it takes YEARS of experience and a plethora of tools to do what he does. He's not much for chit chat, but if you want your car back to OE factory specs after significant damage, go see Al.

Al straightened a twist in our '77 C10 frame a few years back and when my son crashed his S10 2 weeks ago, I saw a tweak in the frame and called Al. I brought the truck in the next day and he had it straightened, and bumper mounts welded on the next business day. Al is very direct and fair in price. His labor rates are probably the lowest there are. It's not cheap and it will cost more than you want or expect to spend but it comes out cheaper than having to do it twice or not get the repair you really need. I hope to never need another frame repair, but if I do, and he hasn't retired, I'd only use Al! Thanks Al!
