I recently used them for my truck and was impressed with the service and fair price and location that i brought my other car here to be serviced after going to BMW. The quality of work is great and pricing. They are able to get your car in and out relatively fast. Pricing is very reasonable and i prefer them vs a jiffy lube and a mr tire etc. they are very knowledgeable!

Great mechanical and customer service! Starter failure left me stranded. Called 40 West and their tow truck arrived in about 10 minutes. Dropped me off at my home, took the car to the shop for repair, and even picked me up at home after the repair was done. Car starts like a charm now!

The men that run this shop are the kindest group of individuals. This place has been me and my fiancé’s go to since we moved here. They have serviced both of our vehicles (both older vehicles 2007 and 2014). Both times it was a quick service, I understood what the issue was and how they were going to resolve it, and the parts and labor were SUPER reasonable. As someone who has had many poor experiences elsewhere - these guys will restore your faith in mechanics.

Rob was amazing! When AAA left me stranded at night for 4 hours on the interstate because they couldn't find anyone willing to tow me, Rob was my shining hero. AAA told me I had to find my own tow(?!?!), Rob agreed to drive a significant number of miles, after he had already been working 14 hours on his day off, because he "just didn't feel right" leaving my son and me stranded on the side of the road. A big shout out to his wife, who supported him in his decision to help us, and to his friend Scott, who allowed him to sleep on his couch, after he dropped us off at 1 am. Absolutely Ridiculous Pricing – Avoid This Place at All Costs! I rarely leave reviews, but my recent experience was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. I took my Mazda3 in for what should have been a routine service—engine air filter replacement, oil change (Valvoline synthetic), and tire rotation. The total? A shocking $204, with almost $110 just for labor. Let that sink in: over $200 for basic maintenance that any reputable shop would charge nearly half for. I’m not exaggerating—this is one of the most overpriced services I’ve ever encountered in years of car ownership. There was nothing exceptional about the service to justify such an inflated price tag. No premium customer care, no added value, just a basic job with a premium dealership price. At this rate, you’d think they were servicing a luxury vehicle—not a compact sedan. Do yourself a favor: shop around before coming here. There are plenty of trustworthy places that won’t try to fleece you for standard maintenance. Unless you enjoy overpaying and walking away with a lighter wallet and a sour taste, skip this place entirely.

I had some money set aside for a new truck, but after seeing the prices of them I decided to put that into preventative maintenance and not have a new payment. 40 west was one of the only service centers that I called that actually got back to me with a quote, which was very reasonable. They had my truck in the next day and had it back to me quickly. My truck is running considerably better and my MPG have increased dramatically. I will continue to bring my truck here for work.

I got an oil change and the service was very quick. They were accommodating and understanding even though I was running late. No real waiting room, just a few chairs at the front desk, but I was comfortable chilling there the whole time. Everyone there was very kind. We generally handle our own car repairs at home but this bitter cold had me wanting to outsource. I've trusted them in the past when I worked for AAA so I chose them this time around and definitely will again. Thanks guys!

This is a great place to service your vehicle. My car rotors were gone, but not only did they care of it and my battery, but they reviewed everything in my car and gave me back a car working like new. The price, although seemingly high at first, was definitely worth it. First things first, I did not know anything about them. I emailed a service request, and was called back so quickly that my car was towed and returned to me within 3 hrs!

It’s uncommon for me to write reviews like these, but these folks deserve every star possible. I was in and out the same day, and that included the tow to the shop. I usually read the bad reviews before picking a place, but I noticed a pattern with the negative feedback here. Most of those reviewers seem to think: A) Auto repairs should be cheap. They aren't. Cars are complex machines, and many negative reviewers fail to understand that. B) Mechanics are magicians. Some people expect a diagnosis for a complex issue with just a quick look. Again, cars are complicated and proper work takes time. Or C) They have a massive fleet of tow trucks. Some people expect a pickup whenever and wherever; they simply don't have an infinite fleet. A lot of other low ratings just leave 1 star without saying anything at all. Don't let those deter you—this place is solid. Their pricing is completely fair, especially if you have AAA. If you don't have it, the membership is only $50 and literally pays for itself threefold between the covered towing and the discount on your bill. At the end of the day, these folks are now my go-to mechanics.

Been using 40 west for a long time. My parents started using it, and when my brothers and I got to the age where we could have our own cars, we started using 40 west! I got my husband to start using 40 west too. Earle, the owner, is so sweet and caring. He remembers my parents whenever I go in. My husband has an acura rsx, which as soon as it comes in for service the staff knows who we are. Excellent speedy service too, also love that they have a night drop box. The staff are honest and caring, and will always make sure that you know what else is wrong with your car before they go do something to it. You definitely won't waste your money on the services they provide, and they have gotten me out of a few scrapes with the towing!
