I went to this place to have my car checked out because it was rattling. The mechanic put my car on a rack and told me that the rattling was caused by the heat shield. I knew this. He fixed it and made it look like new. Screwed it in place and my car stopped rattling. Fast and efficient. Less than $100 dollars.

THEY FORCE SOLD ME ON AN UNWANTED SERVICE! Part of me feels even because, although I spent $60 on Ubers, at least they got some work done. The other part of me feels like I deserve reimbursement because I had to spend $60 on Ubers as they completed an unwanted service. They were SUPER friendlyâuntil their true colors showed. I called ahead and got a quote for a bottom engine mount replacement. I already had the parts, just needed labor. I called again to verify the service and drop-off date. On the day I dropped off my car, I explicitly confirmed only the bottom mount should be replaced. It took them two days to get to my car, so I spent $60 on Ubers in the meantime. After two days, they called me to say they werenât able to replace the bottom mount because they were missing a specialty toolâbut they mistakenly replaced the top mount instead. When I arrived to pick up my car, they expected me to pay $60 for THEIR mistakeâdespite not even touching the mount I actually needed fixed! I explained that I understood they put time and effort into the job (though it was an easy 30-minute task), and I was sorry they wasted their time. However, their mistake already cost me $60 in Ubers, and I didnât even get the service I needed. Why did they quote me for that service in the first place? As I explained my side, they showed no remorse at all that I lost money in this transaction and continued to be upset i didnt want to payâeven though this was their mistake, not mine. Why should I have to pay for their mistake?!
