No sé si son buenos mecánicos o no, lo malo es que un amigo les llevó su camioneta hace 1 semana y no le han hecho nada, la otra cosa mala es que no contestan el teléfono y los sabados disque abren pero solo por 2 horas, mejor vayan con Eleazar Davila esos si te atienden y te dicen la verdad, ah otra cosa ahí están cerquita del otro taller

I am one of those women who has auto hysteria whenever anything goes wrong with my car. I take it in for regular maintenance to one of those big chains and within two months of having it maintained I have a major almost thousand dollar quote car problem that I think should have been caught when they were, providing my other services. Needless to say, I refused to have them work on it and was asked to sign a waiver before I took my car off the lot. I would not do that, but had my car towed to 540 auto repair. Best decision I have ever made! They were almost half of the quote that I was given from the chain store, extremely courteous, Very patient with my hysteria and did an excellent job on my vehicle! I will not take my car anywhere else for repairs. This is the real deal for a honest, skilled and affordable mechanic! Those are words you Don’t normally see before the word mechanic, but this is the place!

I'm pretty disappointed in the service we received at 540. We were having an electrical issue in our van and after both batteries tested good at AutoZone we sought out a mechanic. We were told the fee to diagnose the problem would be $75, and so we agreed and dropped off the van. Hours later we were told the auxiliary battery was the culprit and it would be a bit over $400 to replace it: Now $165 for the diagnostic--no longer $75--, $150 for the battery and the rest in labor to replace the battery. Our aux battery is under warranty and so we said no thank you, we'll just pay the originally quoted $75 diagnostic fee. I'm sick, have laryngitis and can't talk and so my wife is the one having to do all of this. I can't tell you how mad it made me to sit here and listen to the "boss" at the shop yell at her and tell her it would be $195 now for the work they did--hooking up the diagnostic machine and then testing the battery. She pushed back and told them we did not authorize any work beyond the initial diagnoses of the issue. He was arrogant and rude, cutting her off verbally and talking down to her before finally agreeing to a "reduced" fee of $125, saying "come get it," then hanging up abruptly. There are a lot of great reviews on here, so I don't know why our experience was so much different. But, man, it sure was! Be careful going here. Things change, and apparently this place has changed.

To start, I’m not from OKC- I was looking for a different car repair business. The current occupier is a collision repair. The guy that helped me told me the previous business had been gone for 5 years, and Google keeps it up as open for business. The guy who helped me at the collision shop told me they use 540 auto repair for other than collision repair. So if your car is or will be with MCCONNELL Collision and Customs- they are good guys ready to help. If your car needs engine repair, they send them to a great place. Your car is in good hands. Which brings me to 540 auto repair. They got my jeep in, got the coolant flush I wanted, told me up front what it would be without issues. They got it done, no issues, and they were quick. I feel they were professional, friendly, and they didn’t try to nickel and dime me with recommendations. I would definitely come back if I’m back in OKC-
