59 Auto was recommended to me to do the alignment on my car. It's almost 40yrs old and it takes both talent and artistry to align older cars. Dropped the car off and picked it up later the same day. The car drives straight as an arrow. I don't think it's ever driven this straight in the almost nine years I've had the car. Highly recommend 59 Auto Repair!

SPRINTER VAN……Horrible and nothing but parts changers for my application…..Brought my Sprinter van in for an exhaust leak and check engine light on. Originally quoted $180 diagnostic fee which turned into over $600 once in the repair bay. Fine I get it let’s get it fixed! Picked vehicle up after 3 days in the shop which they insisted they were qualified to work on this kind of vehicle also explained the loud whining noise coming from the turbo is normal……didn’t sound like that when I brought it in so fix it which the did, they had improperly install a part they changed out that wasn’t even needed. Left to go on a service call could hardly breathe in the cab after they claimed to have repaired the exhaust leak not to mention check engine light came on which sent the van in break down mode had to turn around, miss my emergency service call and go back to this shop. Time for more diagnostic’s fees parts changing and down time, waiting only to have the service writer tell me to go buy a code reader and reset the codes every time check engine light comes on…..not very professional at all not to mention this is a qualified Napa repair shop. Went to another shop (Certified Auto Repair in Naperville) they found the problem, a bad fuel injector causing unburned fuel to leak into the cab setting check engine light on….not to mention a exhaust leak at the turbo on a bolt that was loose. They did replace the radiator hoses which work out but bottom line after $4600 I left with the van in worst running condition then when I first brought it it. Glad I didn’t listen to them and spend more money to buy a code reader I had it fixed properly. I’m not saying they are bad at all repairs but BEWARE make sure they are for sure qualified to work on your specific vehicle. Shame, I was going to bring my fleet of vehicles for service but after taking my first it will be my last. Thanks for the $4500 lesson in life not to mention lost wages and customers I incurred!!!!

I've used 59 Auto Repair for about 20 years. Every experience I've had has been excellent. This visit was for my '11 Fusion with 191,000+ miles. Jim was my contact person again. He does a great job of communicating any problems the technician finds, recommendations on what needs to be done immediately and what can be done at a later time and providing updates as needed. Prices are reasonable and fair and they stand behind the work they do.

I had a great experience when I brought my 2021 Buick Encore to 59 Auto for a spring tune-up. Oil change, tire rotation, etc. They provided me with a ride home and had my car ready in plenty of time for my afternoon Dr. appointment. Their service is very well organized. Everyone is very friendly and efficient. Their courtesy driver was very helpful and friendly. I would advise anyone to take their vehicle to them for top-notch service.

First time here for a big repair. The high mileage Subaru needed head gaskets and other repairs. First we went our our local mechanic in Crest Hill who we have used for over 10 years who promptly told us they could not complete or even do the repair. Then we went to 59 Auto Repair and not only were they able to do the repair it was completed faster than anticipated! Very satisfied with their service and expertise and highly recommend this shop.
