I don’t usually write reviews but my experience having just worked with Mark and Seven Lakes warrants a proper tip of the cap. I brought in our 2015 FF yesterday and had a couple items of concern that I wanted to address before I felt like I could really enjoy the car. Mark and Landon spent the whole morning detailing out a full inspection of the vehicle including fluid analysis. Their expertise in these cars and systems allows them to communicate things in a very relatable way while wrenching on stuff right in front of you. And the end of it, they tightened a few hose clamps (which was all it actually needed), advised on a simple maintenance schedule and told me to go fun with it until it needed it’s next oil change. No bs, no salesy stuff, just simple, honest advice. Nothing short of amazing. Don’t let the location fool you. Highly recommend. Some pretty cool stuff in the shop to look at. And the drive to and from the shop is a great excuse to find some back roads :)

The 308 had been sitting for a few years. Carbs had recently been cleaned and rebuilt, but were not set nor synced, car had a faulty MSD ignition system that was messing with the timing and idle, and there was a significant cam seal leak which hemorrhaged oil while the car was running. All things which contributed to a mostly non-operative Ferrari and a sad state of affairs. When searching for a knowledgable, trustworthy, and reputable Ferrari specific mechanic in the Pacific Northwest, I found few. But Mark at Seven Lakes Motorsports kept popping up on the forums, around some local car shows from Ferrari owners, and by another Italian makes specialist who was just getting ready to move away from our area. So after doing a little more asking around, I gave Mark a call and scheduled an in-person introduction at 7 Lakes. Upon arrival, the scope and caliber of work being done on the Ferrari’s was impressive. A Testarossa with the engine out, a couple of Dino’s, a 250, and a few modern models in for some electronics trouble shooting. Mark’s knowledge and abilities are vast. After an hour of chit-chat I was eager to have him get to work on the 308. A few weeks later I had the car delivered to his shop with a timeline and budget in mind. During the work he would send updates with photos and videos of the progress to keep me in the loop and answered any questions I had. Mark had most of the needed parts in stock and we only had to order out for a couple of things and a new PerTronix ignition kit. Ultimately the work was done on-time and on-budget. He also provided a full vehicle inspection with a prioritized and itemized list of things we will get after in the future. But most importantly, the 308 is now zipping along happily, is a joy to drive, and is running better than when I bought it. Mark and the team at 7 Lakes get 5-stars, my repeat business, and all my appreciation for providing incredible, specialized, and reasonable Ferrari service. He took time to diagnose mistake from dealership to make everything PERFECT again. Literally took apart oil pump three times to find tiny little scratch causing small leak.
