So rude. Two ladies at front were less than happy I was there, yet treated all the men as sweet as pie. Called my name once when my truck was done. I didn't hear them. They would've let me sit there all day. Will never go back and this was where I always got smogged.

They got the job done but boy r they expensive.. 250 for a diagnostic is a little high isn't it 😕😔 🤔. But the crew was adorable but the lady behind the counter took a picture of my husband.. wasn't sure what that was about. She said it was becuz he was smiling at me. Yeah ok. But I got the apt for the diagnostic we'll see what happens next lol.

These guys are amazing!! First got the run around in Yreka. Then, finwalls in Yreka being unable to address our issue were gracious enough to send us to these guys in redding. Or car was ready the same day of the appointment having diagnosed the obd problem and smogged our car.

Their station is big, they have a good lobby, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and despite being busy were able to do my smog check quickly and without appointment. Had just tried another A-1 smog but this one was so much better.

Super customer service from all front staff. Incredibly fast service. No hassles. I've used them for several vehicles over many years. I was referred by a friend Anthony Yanello who owns a long time used car lot called Yanello's. He takes all his incoming vehicles to them...and that means something to me. As a woman who can trust a mechanic to be honest is also important. Thank you for great service!

This shop is totally unprofessional. I watched the thinner lady at the front desk completely berate an employee in front of me. A young kid names John. She admitted that it was because the shop guys are rude to her. John said he was never rude to them. This is totally un professional. She also had a smug attitude the entire time. My truck passed all their tests. And they failed me because of a small Crack in one of the evap lines. When it passed the evap test. The note said the hose was torn completely through. So not only is their smog tech incompetent. Hes also partially blind. Customer beware. I would never take my worst enemies vehicle here.

Friendly and helpful people, clean office, good coffee, and fast service. I took advantage of the early bird special and ended up paying about half what I was expecting. It should be noted that smog tests in general seem to cost less than I expected anyway, but it was pleasant news regardless. I settled in for the long haul, but was in and out in about 30 minutes. It was nice to make the painful process of a necessity as painless as possible. Another note, bring cash or check since there's a card fee! (Don't worry too much, it's only a dollar it two for the fee)

A-1 smog has been a shop where I have taken my vehicles to be smog checked in the past. I want to leave a review of my recent experience. There was a disregard of personal property upon leaving my vehicle with them. My vehicle was driven flippantly and left outside the business with the windows rolled down and the door unlocked. I proceeded to approach my vehicle and pretend as if I was stealing (because no one except the desk clerk inside knew it was my vehicle) and no one said anything or stepped in. I brought up my concern and they mentioned how that was their policy to leave the doors unlocked and windows rolled down. Therefore, I asked the manager on duty and they were unsure if that was actually a policy. I do not recommend leaving your vehicle with this business. The price is fair, and the service was done in a reasonable time that is why I rated 2 stars, but I am not coming back to this business again.

Went here to buy a front left side headlight. Also, had to buy wiper blades for truck. Had a Hella of a time trying to get them on. A girl by the name of I belive ray came out to not help, but to put them on. Just want to say thank you very much for the help
