Honest and fair mechanic!! We stopped by to get my car checked when the check engine light suddenly came on in the middle of our trip to Zion. David was really nice and looked at the engine to make sure it’s safe to drive. They could have run diagnostic or change the sensor the code reader was giving to charge us money but they were honest and assured us that it wouldn’t be a problem and could wait. We finished our trip with no problems. Really appreciate your honesty and kindness:) would have been my favorite mechanic if I didn’t live so far!

Great service. He did a diagnostic and instead of charging for the work he suggested an additive to try for my transmission shudder before I dump money into it. Charged only $95 for the diagnosis but it may vary by vehicle. Would highly recommend him and will be going back for any work I may need. Can't recommend them anymore highly. If you’re looking for reliable and efficient mechanics, this is the place! David and the guys at A1 were phenomenal. I brought my SUV in for a transmission and David made sure it was done quickly and professionally. Due to rust under my car, they ran into some complications, but got it taken care of in a timely matter and they helped me at the lowest cost possible! The communication was phenomenal throughout the entire process and I will be bringing my vehicle back for future maintenance!

This shop is the best. I had a problem with work another shop had did on my transmission(HD Auto). David(Owner) listened to my story & advised of the route I needed to take & said that he would have to fully rebuild my transmission because he didn't know what the previous shop had done. He would document everything for me & keep the old parts to show the Automotive State BAR, in which I had to contact to get my money back & file a complaint for the other transmission shop. A-1 Transmission got the job done right the first time. David showed me the old transmission & said that the other shop must have bought a junkyard transmission & put in my vehicle & hoped for the best because the transmission had at least 120k miles on it. I've had my vehicle now for over 3 months & it's like a new vehicle. There hasn't been any shifting problems or stalls. Having a full transmission rebuild is pricey, so have at least a credit card or over 3k in cash. We used Synchrony Car Care Credit. It takes time for quality work to be done so don't expect your car to be done in a week if you do. Go to the other shop I previously went to & get that type of work done. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop. Let them know Ray sent you with the Explorer. THANK YOU A-1 TRANSMISSION.
