They block the parking lot with vehicles so you cannot go all the way thru it makes it dangerous I dont come here anymore for that reason

Arrived to see a technician smoking a cigarette while performing smog check work in and out of a customer's car. I wasn't about to hand my keys to someone to act this way around my vehicle. I left and eventually found a good clean shop south of the 10.

This was the 2nd repair shop I visited to diagnose a compressor not working after replacing the part a couple of times with different junkyard ones to determine the cause was not the compressor. I invested $75 upfront to diagnose the issue. I had been working on this myself for over a week and needed a professional to step in. A Star Plus truly stepped up. They quickly found that the issue was due to a bad ground. This was exactly what I needed to hear! I got home and completed the repair, and sure enough I had missed to connect a small ground which was not easy to see. I was able to charge the AC system myself and got the fix done for cheap because of DIY. Highly recommend this shop for their fast, great service

I have 1998 Honda Civic EX. DMV required to smog check it at Star station. I chose the nearest one, it happened to be A star plus auto repair and smog. Excellent choice for me because Sam helped me to understand that my car had a hole in the system and needed a quick repair at the muffler shop. I followed his advice, and the issue was fixed very quickly. Then I drove back, and the smog check was done correctly as required. I'm very satisfied with the process, price and Sam's patience and care. From now on this is my favorite place to smog check my old 1998 Honda Civic EX. Sam you are the best! 💞
