We went here because they quoted $200 less than midas to change our tie rod. The workers were nice and it seemed like the owner was honest about what needed to be repaired right away and what could wait which I really appreciate. They don't do alignments but gave us a recommendation. Overall, it was a great experience.

The absolute worst situation I’ve ever been in. Took my Tahoe to this shop because my friends dad worked her and he spoke highly of the work. Transmission was about to fail and I got it there before breaking down on the road. I live out of town but worked close by. Well after nearly 3 months it was finally repaired. They blamed low staff and covid for the problem (ending of 2022) Didn’t make a fuss, didn’t ask for any discounts just paid for the remaining labor and went about my business. Unfortunately the newly installed transmission pump FAILED in less than 6 months and because it’s under warranty and I didn’t want to pay someone else for any entirely new transmission I returned the vehicle. This time I couldn’t drive it to them. They didn’t offer courtesy tow (not even a little percentage) because I live out of town so I pay 500 to get it back to him (Luke). Didn’t start working on my truck (Yukon) for a least a month. Being that I have fully paid for a botched job should make my vehicle PRIORITY. Now here I am, nearly 3 months down the road, AGAIN. NO VEHICLE. Had to buy another vehicle since I travel for work. No call, no answer…nothing. Heard he had a medical emergency and I get it things happen I am a nurse, but I’ve received NO CALL, NO EMAIL, NO TEXT. Looks like I’m going to have to sue someone to get my truck back. I’m disgusted and couldn’t gather how there are so many positive reviews. The cussing when they speak to customers didn’t brother me. The somewhat passive aggressive nature also was not something that moved me to act a FOOL. But I’m done holding my tongue. Done being professionally patient and polite. The amount of calm and patience I’ve exuded is heavily nauseating. I WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTION AT THIS POINT.

If you have any problem with your car, take it to this place first. I had the best experience with them, compared to other 5 auto shops. They are honest with their work (you can literally watch him work on your car), they have the best price and they even gave us a ride back home because we had to wait a little while. Please go support them.

Wish I could give more than 5 Stars. My driver's window fell off the track while I was driving nearby. I happened to be passing by this shop and stopped off in the hope that they could help me somehow even though it was a muffler shop. They were super busy so they couldn't take the door panel off to try to get the window back on track but Jimmy fabricated a temporary window out of a piece of pexiglass and then snapped it into place and taped around it to at least get me on my way until I had more time to take it into a shop to get it properly fixed. He is quite a fabricator. The temporary plexiglass window fits pretty darn well and he taped around the seams to make it as best as it could be. Was charged a very very fair price for his efforts and he got me on my way very quickly which is what I needed at the time. Will definitely go back if I have any needs that they could help me out with.

My father in law took in a BRAND NEW manifold/cat converter repair coupler with a three bolt flange. They proceeded to walk in the back and then come back after a while and told him that he brought them the wrong part the part he brought in was only a two bolt flange, which it wasn’t. I seen it with my own eyes before he took it in to them. They gave him back a 2 bolt flange that wasn’t even the part the part store sold him. Do not waste your time or money here. When he called the supposed owner of the company all he did was tell him to leave the property and deal with it, That’s crazy. What an unprofessional place,

It's gone downhill fast. I dropped off my car and asked to be called about what repairs were needed within my budget (prepaid in cash because they used to be that good). I already had a quote on one of the things needed, but wanted to get a secondary pricing. They fixed what they wanted to, left half the work undone, didn't call, and kept my money. Weirdly decided to move everything on the floor to the backseat, even though it was a driver-side door repair. A $400 repair (previously quote) and $27 part cost me a grand. They used to be great, but it's another ripoff mechanic shop now.

Had been dealing with an exhaust leak for months and dreaded taking my vehicle in to a shop and potentially hearing that it was going to need a bunch of work done. Took it to Total Mufflers and they immediately put it in the air, showed me the issue and quoted me the price immediately. Totally transparency. I told him to have at it. I heard some cutting, welding and in under 25 minutes and I was walking out the door. Yeah, that was a great experience as they totally saved the day. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Highly reccomend Total Mufflers.

WARNING CON ARTISTS Stay away from this place, they damaged my car and lied to me, over quoting the repair. Quoting me that I had four total engine mounts and said that two of them were broken or going bad, and said the other two also needed to be replaced. The car only has three engine mounts and only two of them were bad. Quoted price for two, the torque dog bone and a fictitious one. And said the other two needed to be replaced. When it only needed two replaced, and made up one. When the mechanic drove the car on the lift, they damaged the aero splitter on the front drivers side and cracked the left fender. I’ll never go back to this establishment ever again. Needless to say they won’t be doing the repair. Update: These guys are con artists, don’t go here… Only two of the three engine mounts were bad. What this business quoted to replace one motor mount, the other guy. A real mechanic was able to replace two engine mounts for less than they quoted for one.

They welded my muffler backwards/up side down. (3rd picture) Went here for exhaust work because of word of mouth, I have not tried to get the issue resolved yet. I will update as soon as I am met with a solution. I paid $85 for quality work, however i was not met with that, whenever I left total mufflers. Went in for an aftermarket muffler installation and now I have a leaky, holy exhaust. EDIT: went back to have holes filled to fix exhaust leaks and asked for the resonator to be removed, they just patched holes and sent me on my way without doing what I had asked. Don't come here if you expect quality work that doesn't look like damage done to a new vehicle. Also the cashier was talking bad about my vehicle when I paid. Dropped from 2 stars to 1 star, save yourself two trips and go somewhere else. Ive been twice and I wont be coming back a third time, or ever recommending total muffler. Man in 4th photo bad mouthed my pickup truck that I brought in for work, as he was taking my money. This is the owner I paid 88 dollars for these crooks to bang up my brand new vehicle.
