This shop is awesome .i took my car to another shop in the area an they were telling me there was more problms wrong with my car . and it was gonna be a lrge amount... I guess they figured because i am female they could treat me this way but they did not know i was knowledgeable in cars .. So i brought it here to A1 saw nothing but good reviews .. Mo was great treated me kind an explained everything to me .it wasnt even what the other shop said that it was wrong ... Mo fixed my car at a very reasonable rate . i will always bring my cars here. Everyone is always racing to write awful reviews about "..Thee worst place ever-". Well, this isn't one of those. Mohammed & his worker (the young gentleman with the tossy hair & gleaming white teeth- yea,im reviewing YOU too!) not only recommended an inexpensive tow company (Which we utilized) to have our Prelude towed to his place - BUT he fixed our clutch, found a cracked radiator on Memorial Day Weekend (close@1p this day) and they stayed late to fix our car!! Service was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable this guy,and friendly. We're locals here in Seaside, and out of any restaurant, any store, A1 auto has had the best customer service. Thank you ll guys! Good karma to you.

Our daughters ELEMENT was totally overhauled by these guys. AMAZING JOB! The power was off and the breaks were low. They pinpointed the issues and now her HONDA, 2006 ELEMENT is running like new! THANK YOU. GREAT SERVICE. Very Friendly. We are going to bring our work vans in next!

Honestly, your better off going to a cheaper mechanic, this guy got the job done so one star but the value just isn't there. For a cooling overheat i got charge a grand for three simple parts I could have done on my own and the car still didn't work and had major issues that would have cost even more money. would have loved to start going here as my go to and recommend this place but it's just too hard.

Took my chevy 1500 z71 to midas next door to get my brakes and rotors done. Keep in mind I had all the parts. Midas tried charging me $762 just for the labor. There reason because its a 4x4. So I said no and took it next door and it was only $280. The guy works hard and doesn't over charge you. If your having troubles finding someone trustworthy id choose him I've tried all the shops in seaside.

Was able to help us in a pinch! The underside plate to my car got all bent up and flapping around and they were able to remove it for us and also filled up our tires without us even mentioning it. Very helpful and would recommend!

This is a good garage. I went there once just to ask about what the Nissan dealership down the street had recommended I do with an airbag light on. Mo essentially told me their recommendation was BS and I just just do one cheaper aspect of it. And he was right! (And didn't charge anything.) So I went back there next time I had car trouble and had a great experience again.

After repairing my wife's glovebox on her SLK Mercedes, the Air Bag light lit up on the dash. (Because I disconnected and reconnected passenger airbag) I called a Mercedes repair place asking if they would reset the ABS light. They said they could at a cost of $200. I went online and bought an On-board Diagnostic tool for $50. to try to reset myself. The tool came, I pugged it in, and it did not work. (Apparently the tool was not sophisticated enough to do the reset) A few days later, while driving by, I happened in to A1 Precision Auto. I met with Mo and explained the problem to him. While there I noticed his shop to be clean, well organized, and having all the latest auto repair equipment. To my surprise, with a big smile on his face, he told me he would reset the light for free, and sure enough he did. He now has a new customer. PS: While on line looking for a site to leave a review I noticed Mo has a Five Star rating on CarFax too.

He gave a decent price them convinced me to pay him cash. I got the new brakes with 2 year warranty to boot. The brakes weren’t working correctly when I took it back he said the h well you didn’t ask for original brakes for your copy so I installed a cheaper brand. If you want brakes made by the car manufacturer then you will have to pay double. No recourse as he got paid cash. Next time go to the dealer, might pay more but already you get the right parts, better to be safe than sorry,

My rear brakes were almost gone after only 20,000 on my VW. I figured I probably needed all four replaced, but he called me half way through to tell me the front brakes had plenty of wear left in them. Honesty can be hard to find in car repair. I recommend A1 Precision Auto Repair.

Not recommended. High dollars paid over and over for brakes under warranty. Incomplete assembly of lug nuts as well as under panel. The owner tried placing blame on others. Such as the Costco auto department. We all know how good Costco is. **Not accredited by the Better Business Bureau***

I had an excellent experience with A1 Precision Auto Repair. Mo is extremely knowledgeable and clearly knows what he is doing. I brought my Mercedes in with multiple issues, including a radio that would not work no matter what I tried and a brake light problem. He very polite, professional, and offered his service at a great rate, was able to diagnose and repair everything quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend A1 Precision Auto Repair, they are very reputable, and I trust them with all my vehicles needs!
