WORST....tire buying experience i have ever had.. I called A-1 tire because i had seen his add on Craigslist .Junior quoted me a price of $600.00 cash mounted and balanced for Falken tires .. i thought not a bad deal.. went there the next day around 4:30..when i told him i was there for the Falken tires he said he did not have any ,but he had something else that was just as good..when showed me the tires which were all terrain tires , i asked him if they were quite and smooth riding...Junior assured me they were.. he is supposed to be the tire expert.. i said as long as they are smooth and quite tires i would take them...so they proceeded to put them on. took them about 45 minutes to an hour...5;30...i finally get on the highway to head home .. within 10 minutes of driving,, noticed the truck was riding rough allot of vibration and how noisy the tires are. i immediately called Junior and told him i was not happy with the tires..could he get me a highway tire instead of an all terrain..for the next day, he said sure and would call me as soon as they came in,, i asked him to make it as early as possible because i was driving the truck the next to Las Vegas.. no problem said Junior... well the next day..noon ,no phone call from Junior.. i called him , the tires are'nt in yet,,, i said make sure to call me as soon as they show up.. waiting , waiting ,, call him again hour and a half later,, no tires ,but he said he needed to see my truck.. i said as soon as the tires show up let me know and i will head over there ,, it is an hour and 20 minute drive for me.. 3:30 no phone call.. so i headed over there any way, i was supposed to be heading for Vegas by 6.. when i got there .. i asked Junior if my tires showed up... he said no.. i said to him,, i asked you to order me a different set of tires and you did not,, so put my old tires on and i will go somewhere else... he said let me see your keys,, he pulled my truck in , removed both front wheels ,,rebalanced them , let some air out and when he was done took my truck without my permission for a test drive .. while all the time i was telling him to put my old tires back on,, he just ignored me,,, well he comes back from his test ride hands me the keys and says its fine... really??? by who's standards ?? he argued they were fine .. he told me to take it for a drive, i said ok .. lets go , so i can show you what i was talking about the reason i was not happy with the tires,,, he said No, the tires are fine,,, so i said fine ,, i will take it for an test drive.. not even 150 feet into my test drive same vibration , same noise,, i immediately went back.. and asked him to remove the tires and put my old ones back on,,, No ,,i asked again ,, NO.. fine .. give me my old tires i will take them and have them put on somewhere else....ok .. Said Junior.. smiling as he went back and got them.. when he came out with them he immediately threw in the back of my truck. scuffing the bed side as they went in.. so i decided i better look at them,,, they took there weight removing tool and took chunks out of 3 of my old tires so i would not be able to put them back,,, classy place.....i asked him about them and he denied it of course .. said my truck came in that way,,,,im not an idiot,, i have been working on cars since i was a little kid,, so basically .. when i asked form my money back he said No.. and then he ruined my old tires so i could'nt use them either....Buyer BEWARE... I learned my lesson.. do your homework.. this place has an F rating form the BBB.. if i would have took my time i would have known this,, well now the court system will have to help get my money back,,,meantime im now back on a set of used tires..

I would recommend him to anyone. Hes knowledgeable with his craft and business. When I buy tires I shop around all the local shops and online, A1 is somehow ALWAYS the best value (Even on specialty stuff). They usually have you in and out pretty quick too. Good price on alignments. Recently I came in with some bmw rims I needed a set of new tires for. When I got them back, I was missing a center cap and two valve stem caps.When I called he immediately stopped what he was doing to go locate my center and valve stem caps, he recovered my center cap, and held it for me, but couldn't locate the missing bmw valve stem caps (turns out they went missing when he changed the valve stems in all 4 wheels free of charge, (says he dose that all all tire installs, other tire retailers charge extra for this service, he dose it on principal, no charge, so you have less chance of a leak after you do business with him). Saaed ended up getting a new set of bmw valve stem caps and a nice bmw keychain shipped to my house for my troubles, very strait forward, and easy to do business with, best value in town, NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH EZ TIRES ON PEABODY/ELMIRA - - - EZ Tires is the shadiest business in Vacaville, STEER CLEAR OF THERE.
