Had a great experience with Brandon at AAA in Cary when getting my emissions and safety inspection done. He was professional, efficient, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The process was smooth, and I appreciated his attention to detail. Highly recommend his services!

I’ve taken my car 2 separate times to have a clanking noise from my front end looked at.. both times no one has been able to produce the same sound. On my second visit, I was told by a worker that he personally test drove my vehicle. And that he "purposely ran it through pot holes and even swerved it off the road intentionally”..I thought maybe he was joking. But he was so serious in the face.. if he was joking, it was not funny. If any other problems arise I’ll be contacting my lawyer…

I had a very positive and pleasant experience at AAA service (Chapel Hill Rd) today. Vance was very professional, polite, and helpful. He answered all my questions completely and patiently. He clarified the issues regarding a somewhat unusual service request. If something did not need to be done, Vance said so rather than trying to make me accept unnecessary service. I definitely plan to be back. Thank you, Vance, and AAA.

Took my small truck in for AC work and was very pleased with the service and I also thought the price was reasonable. My service rep Vance was very helpful in explaining the work needed and the associated costs. When I decided to have some work done that would take extra time, he gave me a shuttle ride home which was very helpful.

This place is not worth your time. They took nearly an hour for a repair I could have done in under 15 minutes myself. They overcharge, and make any excuse to not give you the AAA membership benefits. I was charged 85$ for a basic battery installation. Was lied to twice that it was not 'basic'. Apparently opening a trunk, and moving 2 pieces of plastic, and a bracket with 2 bolts is worthy of being called 'not basic' giving them the 'justification' to charge 85$. If this isn't basic then how can you trust them with anything 'complicated'. Don't go here, you WILL get overcharged. Management does not care as long as they get your money.

I came to have new brake pads installed . Counter guy told me that it's a mandatory policy that I would have to purchase new rotors. I literally just purchased new rotors and didn't need. As a business I can understand when a business wants to upsell their products or services, but I don't appreciate saying something ( product/service) is mandatory store policy even if you don't need it. They didn't even look at the car and was trying to strong arm me into buying something I know I didn't need because I just bought them . I'm glad i didn't need a tire, he probably would have told me that his store policy is the cannot sell one tire unless you purchase all four. It's the shady business practice that immediately sent a red flag. My wife said she had similar experience with this same store on chapel road. I was disappointed and angry because AAA has a pretty good reputation and an establishment I thought I could trust, but the experience has made me change my mind and i would rather avoid. In addition, I visited several shops in the area, and AAA estimate was way over what other shops charged for same service and products.

Used to be a big fan of this place but not sure what’s happened in the last year. My car has been shaking when idling and I took it in to get checked out. I told them about the issue, as well as asking for an oil change and if they still do the inspection/check that comes back with different colors, red, green, or yellow, to label the status of different areas of the car. They said they charge $150 for it now, which was wild to me, but I said to do it since it has been very beneficial to have that check done before. They also said they would need to do it because that’s the only way they could find out what’s going on with the vehicle, which was interesting that they need to do the check but charge you close to $200 for it? No check engine lights or anything are on my dashboard either is what I also let them know. They came back and said they didn’t find anything wrong with the car, but replaced the spark plugs because of the mileage on my car and that it was needed and should fix the issue. I drove home and the next time I drove my car after that the issue was WORSE! And I noticed that my left headlight and taillight were out as well. I don’t know what type of check they made me pay for, but it clearly didn’t check anything because there were more issues and it didn’t solve the ones I went in to get resolved. I called about this and still have not heard back, which makes it seem like they don’t care. Upset that this is what’s happening at this location now and that I’ll have to find somewhere else to go. The staff in person are very kind though, so not sure where the disconnect happens.

I have always been very satisfied with the quality of service I receive at AAA Car Care Centers. Occasionally I encounter a problem with a DIY maintenance project. When I have ask for help, AAA has always agreed to help me resolve it. I appreciate this more than they will know. Thank you so much AAA! : )

I had very bad experience with AAA chapel hill Morrisville. After I did service( 2nd Jan ) from here I did not find my Tool box as well as my wheel lock (specific to my car) . And when I asked them they said that there was nothings in your Car and you need to go and purchase a new lock from your dealer. However during service they (my car front left wheel) opened the nut by the key ( specific to my car) and the nut was kept in my car after the service.I asked them if you don’t have my key then how did you open this nut? However there was no reply from them . Anyways then I had to go to my Dealer (Hyundai) and purchased a new lock which cost me $70 . Please be careful to go AAA and check all things after your service. ex : your tool box , your wheel lock.etc

This is a great place for car service! They brought my daughter's car back to life just in time for the fair. My car has terrible electrical issues, 2019 Santa Fe. Michael was incredibly nice. He gave me an electrical mechanic to check out. Please give Michael a raise. 😁 I appreciate AAA, that's why I am member.

I went here for tires at the last minute. Now my tires are big truck tires and I wanted the off road. Those can get pricey. The staff was amazingly nice. The lady working the phones, front lobby and checking people out was somehow not losing her sanity. She was very helpful and help me find some really amazing tires for about 400 less than most. I did have to come back the next day to have them installed. It did take awhile but they were very nice and helpful. Most importantly it was done right. This is a legit place to get your car fixed. I would trust them over the places next door. Thanks triple a. I will be going back

I had a problem with my car and took it here to have it diagnosed hopefully. Unfortunately the mechanics didn't find anything looking amiss but they did me a huge favor that I don't think I expressed enough gratitude for in the store. As a Christmas present, because they couldn't find anything wrong they didn't charge me for anything and even rotated my tires. I cant thank them enough as this really helped my holiday season.

Beware!!!!!!! Do not come here for any car repair unless you want your car messed up. I went for a simple oil change Oct 23rd at this establishment and found out yesterday that there were "allegedly" leaks created under my oil pane to create future repairs. The amazing mechanic that saw the leaks yesterday advised me that the things messed up or missing could not have been missing or messed up for any other reason than "ON PURPOSE." Thankfully I have not been driving as much because this AAA could have caused me thousands of dollars which is disgusting. The oil change was already expensive and now I've spent more money to rebuy parts the AAA mechanic removed and messed up. This is the 2nd issue I've had with this same place. Never ever again. And my membership will never be renewed. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY and if you've gotten a oil change from here please have a real reputable mechanic check your vehicle.

The prices are astronomical. I feel they tried to take advantage of my wifes lack of car knowledge. GREAT JOB LIVING UP TO THE STEREOTYPE. Who asks for nearly $400 total for a new battery, and one of the charges are almost $100 to stick an OBDII into a port for diagnostic fees? I told my wife to leave. I took our car later in the week and went to Advance Auto who installed the battery for free, checked the OBDII for car issues and diagnosed it for free. I paid $200 for a new battery. Do better.

I recommend doing your research before going to this establishment. I was charged $87 for a diagnostic test to see if my battery, alternator, or starter was the problem in my truck. They called me 2 hrs later to let me know it would be over $500 for a new battery. When I responded that the price was high I was told there was another $70 added to the $350 battery for resetting my computer to a new battery. I have never heard of this. My truck is not luxury or super high tech. It sounded fishy so I paid the fee for the diagnosis and I left. After calling around to verify prices I realized no one else said anything about resetting my car's computer. The average price for my battery and installation is $250!! Do better AAA.

I own a 2007 Honda Pilot that I have been taking for service to AAA Morrisville. All of the staff there, in particular Rob and Brandon have gone above and beyond to make sure that my 18 year old car stays in good working order. They are knowledgeable, professional and patient! My thanks to all of them!

Stopped by AAA Car Care in Cary for a low tire pressure warning, and Alex was fantastic. Even though he was pretty sure the warning was caused by a faulty tire sensor, he still took the time to check all my tire pressures to be safe. He was very professional, polite, and clearly knowledgeable. I really appreciated that he didn’t brush me off and explained the situation clearly. Great service—Alex is the kind of person you hope to deal with when you come in. Highly recommend!
