I contacted Mr. Tire on the phone after getting a flat tire on my way to work. Mr. Tire's price was high, but less than the price at Atlantic Tire, so I made an appointment for 12:00 PM to get my tire replaced. Mike at Mr. Tire was nice enough to show me that purchasing tires online from Amazon or eBay is much less expensive that purchasing them from a tire repair shop. The total service time was less than an hour and equalled the amount quoted on the phone.

Tires were bought at Mr. Tire and I needed air added which has always been free. However I was charged about $90 for the tire service. Was told battery was low so I ok'd replacement. Was charged $350 for just the battery which was unbelievable. So my visit for free air cost $440.

Just because you have an appointment doesn’t mean they will actually start working. I arrived at 4:30 and waited an entire hour before they even started changing two tires. Their employees were just walking around doing nothing. The whole garage was empty — not a single car inside — yet I still had to wait an hour just for them to begin working on replacing two tires on my car. Then it took another hour to change the tires. This is terrible. If you decide to come here, be prepared to spend half a day on a small, quick job. This is awful. I have never encountered service like this in my entire life. Do not come here — this is awful.

I recently visited the store with someone else I believe the manager name was Mike I was in shock by how he treated the people that work hard from him. His attitude was very cold. But treated customers very differently. I don’t know if that is kudos to his customer service but not good for the people working under him. Also I noticed even though the shop didn’t have any cars once he opened the door to the service area I got a strong sense of marijuana. I makes me believe that him or his mechanics are openly smoking in the shop. That is an illegal substance and I won’t accept a person working on my car or the manager of the shop smoking. I am not just leaving a google review but also making a complaint to the cooperate office about this. Cigarette smoke is one thing but a strong presence of marijuana is different. I hope this can be resolved quickly or I will be making a complaint to wake county about the constant smell

I took my 2013 honda pilot I bought from a used car dealership to Mike after I noticed it was pulling to the right and wasn't fixed after an alignment. Mike suggested I replace the front shocks and struts and lower control arms. They did the work quickly, but unfortunately this didn't fix the issue. Because Mike's suggestion on what would fix the problem didn't work, he told me he would replace my likely bent subframe for free if I bought a replacement. Once they had removed the old subframe, they found extensive damage to the front frame rail that made it impossible to install the new subframe. They let me keep my car on their lift for over a week while I found a frame shop to take it to pull the frame. Mike took the car back after the frame was pulled and finished the subframe install and alignment. I really appreciate all of the support from Mike as I dealt with this nightmare.

I went here with a deflated tire. I was told I need 4 new tires, new struts, and a replacement of my CV Boot due to it no longer holding "coolant". They also refused to perform inspection unless all 4 tires were replaced. Certainly all four of my tires were in terrible shape. Thankfully I did not take their advice. I had my tire replaced (which I now suspect could have been plugged), and then my other front tire replaced due to their being a buy-one-get-one deal. I then went to Grease Monkey where my vehicle passed inspection with no issues. They paid special attention to my CV Boot and Tires and felt they were all well within inspection parameters. If you go here, I recommend only accepting repairs that are absolutely necessary for you to make your way to an honest establishment

Be careful with this location. I don’t have much knowledge of cars and they tried to exploit that. I was quoted over $600 for an inspection and installation of 4 spark plugs. They likely knowingly misquoted the wrong spark plugs at 90 bucks a piece and I came to find out that this was over a 300% markup if you were to buy them yourself. There are many other locations in the area to get work done that are more honest!

Had a flat tire and came in just before close with a spare on. Team walked me through the condition of all four tires and noted the need for replacing all of them. The crew stayed late (30 minutes after close!) to help put on all four tires, test and balance, and get me back on the road. Really appreciate them going the extra mile to take care of the repair that night. Having a flat is super inconvenient and frustrating, so grateful for these guys for helping me take care of it. Shout out to Mike, Jacob, Chris, and Tyler for the hard work you all put in.

I brought three different vehicles to this location over a one-month period. Two experiences were excellent, and they recovered nicely on the third. I brought in a 10-year-old vehicle for a state safety and emissions inspection. Although it passed, I received such a thorough, evidence-based report about the car’s maintenance needs that decided to sell it. The second experience was a routine oil change. For the third experience, I made a 5:30 PM reservation online. When they hadn’t yet started the work at 6 PM, I politely left, came back the next day, and breezed right through. They handled that hiccup very well.

Don’t go here. I came in here for an oil change and left with no oil and charged us $100 for the oil change as if that wasn’t high enough compared to everywhere else. I checked the car dash before leaving and initially thought it just needed to update so gave it a few days but that was not the case. Not sure if they thought I wouldn’t know enough to notice but I did. We had to purchase our own oil and add it ourselves.

Mike is a great person💕 super refreshing to meet an honest mechanic. He immediately let me know the issue with my tires could be solved at the original place I bought them for free! He coulda just took my money and not told me that, but I appreciate his honesty. I will definitely come back here in the future :)
