DO NOT take your cars here Dave will tell you that you have time to pay your car and turn around and put a mechanic lien on the car and will not answer the phone while he stills have your property. His wife is very rude as well if you question anything he is doing to your car he will threaten to call the police on you! I will not recommend I still have no answers on a car I am leasing and pay a car note for. All he wants to do is to sell your car so I do not recommend you will be getting a lawyer like me🤬

OUTSTANDING WORK AND CREW Me and my wife were almost stranded in Michigan on our vacation because our fuel module went bad on us without warning. They not only got our vehicle in on short noticed but they fixed it THAT day AND drove to pick me up from our hotel to show me the car works and took me back so I could pay an amazingly low price for the whole situation. So grateful for Dave (and Maria)! Friendly, honest, incredibly communicative and straightforward, fairly priced, and faster than promised. My van broke down on the highway and I called around for transmission help. Most were booked up and didn't ask what had happened. I called Dave and he gave me a transmission quote instantly, but also asked what the symptoms were and gave me more info on other scenarios. He was right, it was a much cheaper fix, and he even fixed an age-old glove box issue that other shops said they couldn't do without breaking it and ordering a whole new one. His tow company was easy to work with and he fixed the van a day faster than expected (would have been faster if I hadn't added the glove box request). I absolutely love this place and will be back for routine stuff. This is the kind of staff and operation I'd be relieved to buy a used vehicle from, if they do that (I havent asked). Keep up the good work, guys, you're what every community needs!

Brought my beloved but timeworn 2011 Camry in after noticing a bit of a "whine" while driving which opened up concerns about the transmission. I do some of the work myself and have modified some of her scheduled maintenance with an exit strategy in mind; with her age and mileage, any cost prohibitive repairs would be eschewed, so I didn't know what to expect. Maria greeted me as I explained what I thought was going on, and couldn't have been kinder, as well as honest. I did agree to pay for a diagnostic test to be conducted (with the fee waived if any work was performed with the shop), and was told I'd be contacted in a few hours with any results. Upon said contact, to my delightful surprise, no issues were identified, either raised by me or otherwise. I certainly was in a position where I would've indulged some type of work if I was told it was necessary, but Maria insisted nothing was an issue and wouldn't charge me for something I didn't need. While I do not hope I am back any time soon for obvious reasons, when the time does come I will be bringing my vehicle to this location as long as I am in the area for any type of work they will perform.

I contacted the shop in regards to transmission issues with my vehicle. They were able to expedite a diagnosis of my transmission issues and give me a quote quickly. The quote was very fair compared to a previous. David and maria provided me with excellent communication about the time the repairs would be done. And they were done in a very timely fashion which was important. Because it is my primary vehicle. Upon. Completion David indicated an actual lower price than was Quoted. I cannot say how much I appreciate them.Turning a bad experience with a breakdown into a good one with their shop. When I picked up my vehicles they even assisted me with a minor muffler repair at no cost. Once again I appreciate the courtesy and professionalism and highly recommend.

Had to bring my son's truck in on the back of a tow truck yesterday without an appointment because he had blown a break line. Dave and Maria are awesome! Less than 24 hours later the job was completed and we were bringing her home. They even had to take the time to make the new lines because of the age if the truck they weren't able to source them. This isn't the first time they have done work for us. A while back they had to replace the his front axle. Their service is outstanding and their prices are always fair. They are good and honest people that won't just "throw parts" at a problem. I highly recommend them. Thank you again!

Highly recommend AAMCO for your transmission needs! I had taken my car to another shop that told me I needed a new transmission. I spoke to Dave on the phone, described my situation, and that I wanted a second opinion. Dave was extremely knowledgeable and professional over the phone. I towed the car to his shop for a second opinion. Within 30 minutes, he called me and said it appeared it could simply be a chewed-through wiring harness. Upon fixing that, he called me back that our car was ready to go, and no further issues were found. Beyond grateful for his honesty and professionalism!

Dave was simply outstanding to work with. 24 hour flip on the Jeep I brought in, despite me telling him it was our 3rd car, no worry. No appointment, just dropped it off early on Monday of the holiday week. Explained thought process, timing, possible pricing for service based on the CEL and my description. To my luck, it was even cheaper/quicker than expected. Explained what he replaced, steps taken to diagnose, very upfront and personal, and despite being an old gearhead and understanding exactly what he was talking about, he brought it down to a very common level anybody could understand. A real test drive after to be sure of the repair. While I hope I “don’t have to see them” again, if you know what I mean, I sure won’t hesitate to use them again should the need arise.
