Had a major issue, needed my engine replaced. I was hesitant this being the first time I had to bring a car to a shop for repairs ever. Sam and the whole crew were extremely communicative, transparent, trustworthy and fast. I was not expecting to have my car back for weeks. It was fixed and running great within less than a week. Sam called me every step of the way and kept me informed on where we were at during the claim. When I went to pick up my car the location was easy to find, staff was very friendly, office was clean and my car was just the way I left it. Fingers crossed I don’t have any more issues but If I do I’m going back to AAMCO East Hartford. They have my full trust now!

😡😡😡😡🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️bad review reporting them corporate also lawsuit coming Do not Do not bring your car to this place horrible service liars they blew my engine with no accountability what so ever & lied about it this my story So me & my husband was referred here by someone for the problem we have cause they didn't fix nothing so we brought our 2010 Audi A6 on July 28th 2025 my husband told mitcha the person who was on the front desk that the car cooling keeps disappearing and we keep filling it up we want to know where is going and why is doing that ok no updates or no calls a week wen by so we called mitcha pick the phone up ok hello hi !! your car is next in line for a pressure test we to see what's going on will give you a call back tomorrow wen is done with a update ok No call or text another week wen by now is 2 weeks we call them again mitcha picks up oh hi let me look up you car to see the note Josh did ok the cooling reservoir & sensor needs to be change are you sure that's the people I asked her we don't want to pay $700 and is not going to solve our problem ok hold on let me as Josh smh ok on hold now 5 min came back yes he said that's the problem ok so we gave them the ok to fixed it another week wen by we called them again di picked we ordered the do not go there they blew my engine on my car due to negligence an poor technician no expires on Audis they didn’t know what the problem was dj a horrible manager a liar they don’t know how to run a business

Car issues are my biggest anxiety. When I reached out to them they were willing to look at my car ASAP and was able to have it fixed that SAME day! They understood how people are in situations of only having 1 car or having to take a whole day off work, so they want get customers in and out to help everyone. They explained everything that was wrong and I didn't feel like I was being talked down too. Highly recommend going here, I can say I have peace of mind.

I’m very disappointed with the level of service I received. I brought my car in due to the check engine light, and was told it would be looked at. After two days and several unreturned phone calls, I went to the shop myself—only to find my car had not been moved or inspected at all. This lack of communication and follow-through is unacceptable.

My first experience with this shop was amazing, unfortunately at this time is a disaster for me, I realized that my first experience was because they had a great manager, in the last year I went a couple of times and I Noticed that always was a different guy on the front desk, last summer my daughter’s car started to fail , she drove the car to a couple shops close to her college at Virginia, and the diagnosis was bad, basically that it had a timing chain issue and would need a new engine, however I decided to bring the car back to Connecticut for a reliable and second opinion, I leave the car at the shop and they did a several tests including an engine test , the cost of this is was 800 bucks and my request was if it was worthy to put money in that car or should be better to look for a new car , so They told me that the engine was good and I could do the rest of the reparations , I have to took a loan with their financial company to pay the labor and part for an extra 2000 bucks , today after less than 2 months the timing chain is broke according with a mechanic who checked the car in Virginia, last week I went to the shop and I spoke with the lady who was on charge and I told her the situation, she told me that Aamco had a shop in the same town where my daughter’s college is, and that they will take care of it without extra cost , so I trusted in her words but 10 minutes she texted me and told me that the shop in the same city was closed but she sent me another shop one hour far , I had to pay the towing service with the hope that they would fix the car , last Friday they call me and gave the same diagnosis, broken timing chain and It needs a new engine, I called back this lady again and after several days without communication she told me that my guarantee no covers nothing, seriously? I told them the diagnosis from the beginning and they charged me for an engine test that was useless and she gave me false information and made move the car and I had to paid more than 500 bucks in tow for no reason, I feel assault they were totally dishonest.

After the catastrophic situation I had with my vehicle AAMCO made my vehicle brand new. I will never take my vehicle to another shop. They had attention to detail and great diagnostic testing. Ford F250 In short I brought in the shifter link off the train housing which they were going to weld into place. This was my 2nd attempt to get them to fix the shift linkage. First they put in a new shift cable but that was not the problem. The new cable should not securely attach to the shifter link. My buddy had one dropped it off on Monday I stopped in on Tuesday and they showed me the part still in the bag. Wednesday get the call all set so picked up the f250. Weeks later I’m at the grocery store and the truck would start, battery not even 2 years old. So I go under the truck and find out they welded the old worn out link to the shaft coming out of the trani. I manually moved the park down which then makes the computer realize the trani is in park and able to start the truck. I go over to the east Hartford ct shop where the work was done ahead goes in back and my new part was still hanging up on the key wall. She said my buddy brought it in after they welded the old useless part on and I was in a rush to get the truck back. Total lies by them as it’s my plow truck and being September I had no rush to get the truck back. They said bring it in Wednesday and they will correct. I don’t trust them as far as you can throw and elephant. Total waste to time and money getting work done there.

When they say "free," they truly mean it. I was having problems with my fully electric car and they told me to come in for free basic diagnostic. After the basic diagnostic they were able to diagnose that I had an open recall on my vehicle and suggested I go to the dealer for a free repair. All this was done free charge and they gave me everything I needed to take to dealer. The staff was friendly and professional. I would absolutely go here for any repairs in the future.
