The labor is sky high and will cost you $1500 on a compact vehicle for one missing gear on transmission. Al is a funny man he knows everything there is to transmissions and has been doing it for years. I respect a man who acts a man and not a dick. He doored my car and didnt even have the decency to apologize today, he scuffed it bad. I don't know about you guys but I would of apologized, he saw me outside of my car when he pulled up next to my car and just doored it. If you don't know as much as this old fart then you're better off trying his neighbors out next door than this shop. It seems that at one point things ran well, but after so many years they seem tired from what I saw that place was once. If you've gotten your transmission "fixed" chances are you'll probably be taking your car back. I tried giving him the chance to take a look over my car, and what he doesnt know is that I have proof of codes for several issues when I had gotten my vehicle back that were not actually listed codes on my vehicle. I asked him on several occasions and boy I tell you he's good at handling a situation to get you to leave only with false hope he's actually working on the car. He'll make you dig in a pile of receipts dated 5 years or more so make sure to bring your receipt unless you know how to handle some joker. He doesn't even need the receipts he's the kind of person that loves to piss you off. He will sit there and apologize online, but I dare you to go visit him and see what a joke that man is. I had a warranty on my vehicle for a year and he gave me some tangent to bring the car. But when it came down to me finally bringing my vehicle, he simply checked it in less than 5 minutes after giving me some hocus pocus about why I should change a shifter in my car and yet failed to do it as he "forgot" what was wrong with the car qnd will tell you he needs to take it out on a date to remind himself what you were complaining about . I advise you to visit more transmission shops that will charge you less stay far away from this one. He has a sign that says if you want good work it will cost you, but if you want fast work it may suck, and if you want cheap work there is no point in getting up to work. Also make sure to have him to show you on his computer for codes and what not, as from my experience my receipt states a list of several things wrong with my car, but when I took it to service those codes were not there. So make sure to ask him or buddies outside to show you. Always speak to Al if you plan to get your transmission fixed here don't talk to anyone in the garage as they will take advantage of you. Go with someone who actually knows about cars as he is a slicker than slick. May the force be with you.

If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. This whole instance I am about to walk you through took place over TWO weeks. I was quoted 2400 for a NEW CVT transmission for a 2012 Nissan Versa. A transmission that I was told could never be repaired. It had to be completely replaced. I took my car into the shop on Monday afternoon August 21st. Al called me Wednesday afternoon to come pick the car up. The car drove fine until Sunday afternoon. Sunday afternoon the car started shaking as it did before it went in, the code light was also on. I took the car in on Monday to be tested. Al, ran a diagnostic and determined the car needed a new part. I dropped the car off Monday afternoon on the assumption that I would have the car back Tuesday. The part didn't come Tuesday. Wednesday the part was placed, but it still didn't fix the problem. I was given this’ same run around for the next 3 days. Monday September 4th was labor day, so I knew it was going to be delayed. Understandable. Tuesday the 5th I went into the shop myself at lunch time to surprise Al and give him a chance to explain. Walking on on Al, he stammered. Ahhh ahhh telling me that he was waiting on someone to come “flash" the transmission. I stopped by the shop Wednesday morning on my way to work waiting for Al to come in. After doing my own research, Al never called Elite Electronics that was supposed to come out. Elite also informed me that if Al had in fact put a whole new transmission it wouldn't need to be flashed. It was then Al admitted that he did not put in a new transmission. I questioned other things he had told me. He told me they have a part house yet - he has to order parts and it took a full day to come in. It took a day and a half to put in a brand new transmission but now it has been another week and half and the small repairs can't be made. When confronted on this, Al became angry. Slammed things on the counter and told me he wasn't a liar. Even though he had already admitted to being caught in at least one lie. I told Al that if he couldn't get my car fixed by Wednesday ( September 5th) afternoon, he should just get a check to refund my money and give me my car back. Al called me Wednesday afternoon to let me know that “ my car ran fine but had some loose wires ( i've never had that problem before letting him touch my car.) and has broken down by the parts shop (wherever that is) and has to be towed back to the shop. I could pick the car up with a check Thursday morning. Thursday (September 6th) afternoon I FINALLY got a call after calling the shop approximately 20 times with no answer that my car was running and ready to be picked up. Check was going to be made available. I pick up the car. Al told me the car is “basically" fixed. I essentially got a new transmission for free. I started the car, the air condition would not turn on at all. It would not blow any kind of air. The blinker wouldn't work. My hazard lights wouldn't work. Nothing. I knew something was wrong but I was ready to get my car out of his business. I already had a new shop lined up ready to take my car that afternoon a few miles down the road. I drove my car approximately 5 miles before it just died in the middle of the road. Dead. Nothing. I had it towed to a shop when they have informed me that the transmission has not been touched. My battery is now also being supported by a 2x4 has zero charge and the battery cables are trash. Again, not an issue that I ever had before. The check has been deposited in the bank. I haven't heard of the check is hot or not. Al is not the owner he is a manager, and a sweet talker. He is going to say all the nice things so he can cheat lie and steal. I do not know who the own is, but I would love to talk to him about his business and the way his employees run it. Run far far far away from this place. Taking it to him you might as well just leave it in the middle of 635. This place is a scam.

They fixed my 01 ford expedition for a good price and in a timely manner, soon after taking my vehicle out of the shop I drove from Texas to Georgia and it drove as if it just left the factory. Would recommend to anyone with transmission problems to come here.

Just called to get a estimate on 3 vehicles that need transmission service. Right after i gave the information on the first vehicle, the man gave me a price than clicked before i could ask about the next 2 cars . I figured the man must have been busy or something. I called back, before i could even give him the details on the next car the man must have recognized my voice and assumed i was calling about the first car i had gotten a quote for. He cut me off in the middle of my question and said "Sir i just spoke with you i told you it was going to $169." At this point i was shocked and upset at this man's disrespect. I kept cool my cool because one of the quotes was for a neighbor of mine. So i followed up by asking him if the price for a transmission service was the same for every vehicle. To make long story short i will not be taking my cars to a place that conducts themselves over the phone like this. It is rude and disrespectful. I can only imagine what he is like in person.

I had gone to another place but their prices were too much for me. I followed another review to Abrams' and they gave me a much cheaper price and fixed my transmission. They recently got a new manager and they were super sweet. If you happen to go ask for Leo. He does a great job!

I went in to ask a question and the young man gave me a honest answer. I had a little bit of transmission fluid 1 quart in my car but I wanted to flush it out and put the Honda transmission fluid in it. I got the other court from AutoZone. He said he doesn't do flushing because when you flush you got to make sure that the tank doesn't have any residue in it and it could cause more damage than good by flushing. But he told me that putting just one court is not going to mess up my engine so I can put the rest of the courts that I have for Honda in my car. I'm calling around to see if that's true. I'm most definitely praying about it too

The place is rough looking but they are the best when it comes to transmissions. I have 250000 miles on my trans. They fix it and it still had troubles. Took it back and they rebuilt it again. Works just fine. Didn’t charge me a dime more. Not easy to fined honest people but this one is a diamond George Green

Outstanding service from Abram Transmission! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and professional. They went above and beyond by coordinating with a tow company to pick up our Avalanche directly from our home on Wednesday afternoon, which made the process so convenient for us. Amazingly, the truck was fully repaired and ready by Friday—far quicker than we expected. The team was not only efficient but also incredibly kind and respectful to my husband throughout the entire process. Their communication was clear, and they kept us updated every step of the way. On top of that, their prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality and speed of service they provided. I am beyond impressed with their professionalism and would highly recommend Abram Transmission to anyone in need of reliable and fast auto repair services. They truly exceeded our expectations!

Abrams Transmission rebuilt the 6 speed Transmission in my 2017 F150 a few months ago. The dealer quoted me $11,000 for a new transmission! Abrams was the most affordable that I found and had mostly good reviews, so I figured I'd give them a shot. I'm now 11000 miles into my 12000 mile warranty, and everything seems to be working just fine. They were friendly, did quick work, saved me $8000, and most importantly, seem to have done a fine job. I'm definitely using them next time I have transmission problems.
