My car was vibrating between 55 – 70 mph, so I made an appointment online with Acutech and in the online request form I wrote: “My car is vibrating, I think my car needs new CV axles.” Then when I dropped the car off, I told Acutech about the vibration again and said again: “I think my car needs new CV axles.” Over the next 10 days, Niki replaced a wheel that he said was bent, a tire, the struts, and the control arms – which did NOT eliminate the vibration. Niki/Acutech still had not replaced the CV axles like I had asked them to do. After performing all the repairs listed above (which did NOT fix the vibration issue), only then did Niki finally replace the CV axles like I had initially requested when I made the appointment and dropped my car off 10 days earlier (replacing the CV axles fixed the vibration issue). So, instead of spending ~$1,500 to have the CV axles and control arms replaced like I was expecting, Acutech charged me ~$3,400 for all those additional repairs which didn’t fix the vibration issue. Acutech didn’t manage my expectations very well. Their communications were unclear, and every time I spoke to them the time, the cost, and the number of repairs kept increasing before Acutech would actually replace the CV axles – which finally fixed the vibration issue. I’ve spent $4,927.67 at Acutech in the last four months on a 2011 Acura TSX that only has ~100K miles on it.

I had the spark plugs replaced at this shop. Their mechanics broke the wire for cam position sensor and was poorly reconnect. I had to spend additional $600 to fix the problem. When I contacted them, they refused to admit that they have caused the damage. Never go back again.

I took in my 2007 Nissan Murano because the dealership said I had both exhaust manifolds cracked and leaking. Niki and his team discovered that I really only needed one replaced and the other would be fine for a few more years. This saved me a lot of money and I never would have known the difference! I appreciate the honesty. The other thing to mention was that they ran into some issues with the replacement because the old one was so beat up. Niki said it would take another day to complete, but I was going out of town with my family. He and one of his mechanics worked extra hard and got it done in time. Very good service!

Thank you Acutech for installing my Ultra Racing rear strut bar, I know it wasn't easy or simple, but you guys found a way to do it and it was excellent work. I also love the custom 4 wheel alignment you made for my car, there is now very little to no understeer and the rear end rotates quicker and easier, my car now handles much more neutral in corners, so much more fun to drive than before. I just add throttle after the apex and rear end rotates smoothly and predictably and just work the steering wheel to exit the corners.

My car was overheating so I took it to Midas in Daly City. Found out it was my head gasket. They were going to charge me $9000 to have it repaired but the gentleman who was working was kind enough to suggest that there are other shops who specialize in head gaskets and probably would charge only 50/75% which would save me money. I Uber'd home googled auto shops that handle head gaskets and came across Acutech Autos in South San Francisco. It read one of the Best Top Ten. I called and spoke with Jacky. He was friendly over the phone as he is in person. I also appreciate the fact how he explained everything to me so I understand what was being fixed and what happened to my engine. From the time I had my car towed there and picked up.... Jacky followed up and made sure I was aware of everything going on with my car, from over the phone and in person, showing me the parts that were damaged in the engine, everything to help me know exactly what they have to do to fix it. I never had anyone who really pays a lot of attention to his clients and Jacky did. (I think that's great). I felt his understanding of my ordeal which he was amazing in doing everything by keeping me posted and helping have time to get my money together without worrying about extra charges. Yes the cost was definitely way cheaper than Midas (glad that guy suggested for me to look than trying to take my $$$) I was also introduced to his Jacky's boss when I picked up my car. He too had a friendly smile, which normally they don't have time to greet their customers but he did and made sure we were happy. The receptionist was cool but hopefully their vibe could rub off on her lol just saying. I can say I'm very happy my engine is as good as brand new and my car is running great! I also have a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty so I'm happy about that as well. I found out they do everything so now I found a place to take my car to be serviced. 🤗 FYI... in case your insurance won't cover you where you need a rental car be sure to ask Jacky if they have one available. When I told Jacky how much I was paying for a rental car at Enterprise he couldn't believe it which is how I found out about this. I didn't ask which I should've 🤦🏾♀️ so by the time I found out there vehicles were already being used which they only have 3 (I believe 🤔) but not entirely sure. If you look them up be sure to ask for Jacky and I'm sure he'll be greeting you with a big smile 😁.

I moved to South SF earlier this year and found this place for car service. I was able to get an appointment for oil change the next day, and the communication was clear and professional. I dropped off my car in the morning and picked it up around lunchtime, super convenient! I was also concerned that my engine oil seemed to run low faster than expected. They checked for any oil leakage and confirmed that everything looked good; the engine was dry with no signs of leaks. They also performed a thorough safety visual inspection, which I really appreciated. Overall, I’m very happy with the service here, professional, honest, and efficient. I’ll definitely be coming back for future car services!
