Purchased a battery online to pick up in store. I asked if they could install it for me, as that is a service they provide. The man who helped me (Bruce) questioned why I thought I needed a new battery. I told him that it's been hesitating to start & that it wouldn't start the day before & I also had my neighbor check it and confirmed that was what I needed. He made one of those noises like humf, to which I replied, "He builds cars, so I trust his word." He had me start the car and tried to tell me it wasn't the battery. Bruce then proceeded to check my battery with both testers. And, yeah, I needed a new battery. Twice, walking behind him into the store, he did not hold the door. I'm not sure if this man doesn't like women or if he just doesn't like to do his job. None of this interaction nor questioning was necessary. I knew what I needed, and that is why I purchased what I needed. All he had to do was his job.

I'm glad that everyone else recieved such stellar service at this location. Us, not so much. My son, who is a new driver, went in asking for assistance with replacing a headlight bulb. The young man behind the counter looked it up, and told him it could be one of two types. When he asked how does he know, he was told to "go home and take it out and bring it back." Had I not been there, I wouldn't have believed this. So, we went to Auto Zone at Harris Teeter, and they went beyond this service, and showed him how to do it, and we left with the light bulb. Sad.

Went to get a rear wiper blade for my car and asked the clerk for my make, model and year and got the correct blade at a discount using my Perks rewards. The clerk Laura offered to install it for me as I was recovering from a previous surgery and didn't have the energy. Even though she didn't know my circumstance it was great customer service and I got my blade installed with out explaining myself. It was a good day. Thank you!

Unfortunately it looks like someone else had the same issue, went to purchase a tail light and came back the next day to return it after I figured out the tail light was not the problem. The bulbs worked fine as I tested it in my working taillight but the store owner/manager was extremely rude and stated there was no possible way to return or even exchange it for the actual part i needed.

Purchased a pair of headlights for $50 which was pretty easy and I got a lot of recommendations from the associates. Asked for some help putting them in since I have hand tremors and it's very difficult for me. Was told they don't do that, which I kinda get, but after watching someone struggling with the stuff for close to an hour, you'd think as one human being to another, some help would be offered. Glad to know what they won't do, because I can tell you what I won't do: Come back.

I had to replace my car battery. I ordered it online and was able to use the Affirm payment options. Went to pick up the battery and asked if they could check the alternator first. That was fine. I didn't know they also installed the battery free of charge. That's a plus since I was just off work and not able to swap it out myself. The guy was super cool about it all.

Will allow customers to buy a faulty, defective battery with a four year warranty, only to deny replacing it when issues arise only a month or two after purchase. Store associates will even run into you at a local car shop minutes after denying a replacement and stopping to note their recognition of you and then still deny a replacement/refund of a defective product under warranty with three years and 10 months left!
